Okay, so far, so good. He'll be out of here by noon tomorrow from the looks of it.
"I already have my men on standby. They were charged to either fix it, or destroy it. If you didn't return that is."
An...interesting point, and fairly played from her end. This was one of many different reasons he didn't like interacting with high profile targets: he has to toe the line with them in order to get anywhere.
"You've done a very impressive job, good sir. You're truly skilled to have taken on an entire force of dwergi alone. Normally I would have done so, but I did not wish to dirty my hands with such work. And my men have never had the stomach for fully entering a deep mountain infested with the beasts. Still you proven to be a capable warrior. I bet you handle your sword very well."
And this is where he wondered again where the hell the 180 degree shift happened. He smirked at the last comment, chuckling a little in response. 'Calm yourself, Sorin. You don't know what her angle is yet.'
'That's an understatement.'
'That's besides the point.' He cleared his throat in response to his own thoughts, and that of the voice in his head.
"I do know my way around a sword, yes." He replied in response, hoping that the blood in his body wasn't migrating down, rather than up.
