Bomblet Generator: Operates like a bomblet generator only instead of drawing from a ship’s reactor it draws from its own power generator and reactor core.
Mag Pulse-Disruptor: Drawing from its own plasma generator, creates a potent plasma disruptor energy ball that then receives an enhanced ionization to develop its mag pulse charge. Leading to a potentially shield disrupting, ship’s weapon disabling cannon.

Project Eos started as a fascination with magnetic pulse weaponry. Eos would utilize bomblet generator technology as a base for its cannon. Because disruptor technology is essentially plasma, the idea was to create a plasma disruptor energy generator capable of dispensing near limitless energy.
Bomblet generators draw power from a ship’s reactor core allowing it to fashion potent energy bombs. Eos would essentially function in the same manner, however; instead of drawing directly from the ship's reactor core. It would draw on a plasma energy generator. Plasma would be supplied via [SIZE=10pt]tibanna[/SIZE] gas tubes feeding into the generator itself. The generator or generators have a dedicated reactor in order to ensure that their power remains consistent throughout the battle.
Plasma-disruptor converters along with an ionization chamber work to create that magnetic pulse charge. Discharge capture tubes work to take the unnecessary [SIZE=10pt]charges[/SIZE] and work them into a decay chamber where the charges are safely broken down.
What leaves Eos’s cannon is essentially a ball of disruptive energy that now has a magnetic pulse charge. This is intended to disable a starship, not necessarily destroy it outright, the disruptor portion works to disrupt shield technology. Whilst the magnetic pulse makes [SIZE=10pt]an impact[/SIZE] with hopes of disabling weapon systems.
