First, I just have to say how sad I am that [member="Jansal Corego"] had to go. The real world happens to all of us though, so it's understandable.


That being said, it's the same for me as well. I definitely want to see this RP continue and would love to have a long, ongoing story/threads with everyone.I think that electing a new DM would provide us a way for someone to objectively keep the story on track through npc, objectives, etc.

My vote for the new DM would also have to go to either [member="Kevros Kovani"] or [member="Joran Del-Finn"] if they're willing and able to do so.


A thought that I had about this is that we don't have to have only one DM. I mean it is a lot of work/responsibility we're asking someone to take on. We could have 1 or 2 to sort of share the load with npc's, antagonists, objectives, etc.

I think that [member="Kevros Kovani"] or [member="Joran Del-Finn"] would be great. Maybe co-DMs? Either way both would be fine. Plus we can all police each other. *Proceeds to bribe everyone to make my character over powered*

However, much like [member="Jakkor Kess"] said, the show must go on. We can continue with the order in the future, but making sure to respect the NPC roles and everything.

I've also heard that a new guy might/is wanting to join in... It is at end of the list. But it's late. And I don't know things.

Yeah, we have a lot of people as it is. With the long posting orders and whatnot, adding more people could overcomplicate things, as well as slowing down story progression. Normally I'm all for new friends and such, but I'd prefer we kept it how it is.

Okay, so I wasn't really expecting this from everyone and as such am flattered by the thought. I feel that [member="Joran Del-Finn"] and I could probably muster up to the occasion. However, I only ask that everyone, please be patient while Joran or Myself decide to post as the new DM. I understand it feels like an endless wait. Some of you have waited longer than 48 hours and as such I apologize for my absence till now. Due to this situation, if everyone wants to make one more round of posts, I say go ahead. I have yet to talk to Joran on this matter. However, what I propose is that since, Joran and I have had little time to work on a DM post that would be fitting for the story. Everyone should make another round of posts starting with whoever comes after [member="The Herald"]. Which in this case would be [member="Dax Fyre"]. After everyone has gone through the second stage of posting order. Joran or I will post as the new DM. This will allow a more stimulating experience for everyone and as such will allow Joran and I to read all the posts and prepare a nice rebuttal as the DM. I understand that some of you needed the DM to post in response to your first round post, to that I say try and prolong the DM's involvement in some way, not entirely cause one of us will be posting.​

As far as NPC's go [member="Rocu"], I think currently, before allowing more confusion, we should see what everyone has to say about the proposition at hand. Then, if after the second round of posts we need an extra to write as an NPC, I will address you personally. As far as any complaints or other great idea's please send them to [member="Kevros Kovani"] in a pm.​

Also, please keep in mind that everyone has different schedules and as such the process of getting this back on track will and can be tedious. For now I would love the OOC topic to strictly be used for solving the issue at hand and nothing more until a decision has been made. Not to be rude, but this will speed the process along much smoother and faster. Once everything is sorted out, go balls wild with stuff like this...​

2 Shy of majority is enough for me. I can't speak for Joran, or the others who have yet to weigh in on the matter.

If [member="Joran Del-Finn"] gives the green light, then I say commence the second round of posting.

The posting order will stay the same as before. After the second round of posting finishes, the DM will post, then we will establish a new Posting order based on location and other deciding factors.

That is if option A is a go. Either two more people need to weigh in or Joran. Whichever comes first, like I stated before, please be patient with us. We just want this to go as smoothly as possible.

As far as interaction, yes, the DM will have interaction with your characters, with the characters that [member="Jansal Corego"] has made. We will try our best, obviously, to portray what he wanted. This by no means has to happen though, if you want to ditch the DM Idea, ect.. Then please let us know. I figured continuing the Idea, however, for [member="Jansal Corego"]'s sake would have been nice.

Let me be straight with you, I by no means think I am more suited to do the job than anyone else. I only wanted to address the issue the way I saw fit. As far as more info, I can say that if you all wanted me to DM, I would probably not post as Kevros until a much later thread. Joran or I would basically be spending time bouncing idea's off one another. We would also be reading the topic carefully and making notes of who and when to interact with PC writers. Seeing as we have no access to Jansal, due to RL problems, I can only inform you to this degree. If this makes you feel uneasy or you think that it would impair the quality of the story, please voice your opinions. Also if you have another plan entirely, I'm sure everyone would love to hear your solutions on the matter.

I just want everyone to be a part of how we proceed, and if Joran or myself is not what you guys want as a DM, that is fine. Everyone here is open to their own opinions. The thing that really matters is making sure the hard work everyone put into this story doesn't end up wasted. Last and definitely not least having fun with it as a whole. This is all I can really give you and I know its not much, but I just really don't know how else to put it.

Got it, [member="Kevros Kovani"] I still think you and Joran are the best fit for DM. As for the NPC'S, I was just seeing how you'd react to them, and I don't really care how you write them, or if you even write them, I was just getting some info. Thank you both
