I would disagree for one reason. This thread was never crafted by a DM alone but rather the input of all of us writer's. I believe if we tread carefully we can survive the next few weeks until [member="Kevros Kovani"] returns. Also [member="Joran Del-Finn"] has a remarkable talent for pointing out thigs that may not work in the thread.

I just feel that since we have to write within certain constraints in order not to break whatever plot is being planned behind the scenes.. it might not be as fun as having the DM there.
I'm suggesting we just put this one on the shelf and wait until the DM comes back then pick it all up again since I'm not sure how many rounds of what-ever lore/environment-we've-been-introduced-to-thus-far we can actually produce :/

Whilst it's true a thread is never solely dependent on a DM (eg. the rest of this board) I am of the personal belief that the DM is what this thread relies one with story direction etc.ect.

Well... we could come to a consensus. We could, just as an example, be stuck on the ship doing things until the DM comes back. Or something else, like preparing for disembarkment, or any number of ideas. That way we can post, but the main plot of the story can be driven by the DM when they get back. Any suggestions or alterations to this idea would be greatly appreciated.

It'd be hard to continue for me without a DM based on where my character was left off as well. If needed I could use some imagination and make up something that seems like it would be realistic but in a perfect world I'd go with the DM's plan.

Hey the Omega event is starting up and I figure if we get out subfaction/company off the ground the could do some cool stuff. The ground battle, space support to the Kathol Outback, anything. We just have to create our stuff and start posting.

What if we start up a thread where our company is setting up it's first base? A factory to manufacture small arms and vehicles? That we we could participate and aid other factions in the ground and space wars. I kinda want to do that. Give me ideas. Do we want to start up our company threads? What will we make?

Hmm. I think we/I could create the factory opening. You could be there to add details and stuff. Creating a location basically. Thresh, Silas, Singularity, and I have created weapons and vehicles that we can manufacture after the opening.

Step 3: (Somewhere before or after step 2) Create/make/approve tech ideas.
