Strengths:
Jack Of All Stats: While the ET-2M doesn’t excel in any areas, it doesn’t lack anywhere either, sporting solid range, rate of fire, and power for an emplacement of its size.
Weaknesses:
Fighters: Limited turn speed and fire rate mean that while it can eliminate starfighters in a single hit, it has a very hard time targeting them. In addition it can be easily targeted by fighters, with only a few hits from most standard laser cannons being enough to destroy the turret.
DESCRIPTION
With size always a concern when ship-based weapons are developed, the ET-2M was designed to meet all the standards of a turbolaser without being too large of an emplacement. It sports two barrels, with a stutter-fire and linked fire mode available, and can rotate a full 360 degrees with the barrels able to lift to 90 degrees for a full arc of fire. While it doesn’t put out the same level of firepower as most turbolaser emplacements, the ET-2M can still provide a solid offense on its own, and when used in conjunction with others of its kind, deliver a powerful barrage to enemy ships.
