Junction Eternal Alliance | Battle of Panatha | EE+Firrerre, TSE+Soullex

Good. It seemed as though Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble was going to try to convince her out of her plan, but then changed his mind. It wasn't fair to let evil doers get away with being evil out of fear. That was what victims do. And she wasn't a victim. She was a fighter.

The blaster fire caught her off guard too. Lori tightened her grip on her bow and nodded at his suggestion. "Let's go then. Lead the way."

Neither with her eyes nor through the Force did she see or feel anyone inside here, only the generator that operated the shield. The simplest thing really would have been to blow it all up, though the Allies may not have been happy about it. So there was another option to be turned off the generator. Quickly looked around to see if she could find a terminal or something like that to deactivate all of this. Fortunately, there was such a device in the room.

Even started to look at the terminal to see if she could enter the system. Oddly, it wasn’t explicitly protected, but it came in handy for her. It all felt as if the Eternal Truth hadn’t put any more serious defences in place. From this it was clear to the woman that they wanted to leave if everything was destroyed here. That's why she had an easy job.

In fact, it also seemed that the enemy didn’t expect anyone to get in here, even luckily they didn’t even have an accurate knowledge of her abilities because they could have made her job difficult. So, however, she just had to find the right menu where she could turn them off. If she were already here and reached all the existing points from here, she has already solved everything. Turned off every existing security system, every shield, every camera, and anything that would have held the imperials back, but it helps the enemy.

"This is L’lerim; shields and defence systems were turned off throughout the palace. The last phase can start!" said on the comm. channel on all Sith and Eternal Imperial frequencies, and started running backwards.

The blasterfire was getting far too close for Kahlil's liking. Quite the frown formed as he glanced to the bend it was coming around from. They'd likely be here pretty quick, whichever side it was. He let out a sigh before reaching out towards what looked like a normal section of wall, then pulled with the Force. A door would open, revealing a staircase down. "That leads to the underground. No one should be there, but stick to the shadows just in case. Follow the red markers."

He glanced to Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun , giving a kind smile. "I'll keep them from coming along. Catch up when I can."

Lori nodded in thanks to Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble . She wondered if she should fire one of her explosive arrows at the source of the blasterfire, but who knew which side they were on? She didn't want to hurt the wrong people.

She pulled out one of the explosive arrows from her quiver anyways, and knocked it in place on the string. Then she slipped into the doorway.

Keep to the shadows, right? Well that was easy. Shadows were everywhere. Still Lori kept her footfalls on the stone light and her breathing shallow while her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting. It didn't take long before soft cries and whimpers were heard, muffled yet distinct. The air felt cold and damp and heavy with feelings of despair. This was the right place alright.

But soon it would be rubble, if she got her way. She just had to get the prisoners out of there first.

Unfortunately for Alisteri he said just the wrong words for his poor soul. They stuck to Saket even as the two acolytes stalked down the road, the Ubese remaining unusually silent for his exuberant self. It was true, Saket at least had a warm bed and a sturdy roof over his head. Even with all those basic comforts there was something missing. Oh sure, his classes and training took up his days, but it was those early--before dawn, early-- mornings and late evenings that an emptiness settled around him. On Uba IV his family had always been around him, the Ubese being a sort of people to prize the relationships with their kind. But while away at the academy he could only express his loyalties in a limited manner, not having many around him to engage in closer relationships. If one of his fellows were in need of a home...

But no sooner had the Ubese begin to speak did a bolt lance over his shoulder. Saket flailed his arms from surprise, stumbling back then reaching to his belt for his saber. Blade ignited, Saket charged headfirst into the fray, his hotly spirited approach to life the same toward combat. With a bellowing roar he leaped into the air, landing behind the low wall the trooper had used as cover. The brutal hiss of the lightsaber thrummed through the air, slicing both flesh and stone as a portion of the wall clattered over, the trooper's top half falling with it. The window behind him filled with the shadow of a heavy form, the barrel of a rifle catching the waning light of day as it poked through the lattice. A sense of danger triggered in the acolyte's mind but it wasn't quick enough, and the crimson bolt struck true on his shoulder. The scream of pain was frazzled with the vocoder but no less raw, and all sense left the Ubese as he dove headfirst through the window, leaving savage shrieks and the roars of flame to be heard from inside.

It seemed like Alisteri hadn't noticed his friend's silent contemplation, too busy with trying to keep an eye on what was happening ahead of them. In truth he hadn't, the silence from Saket was abnormal of course but he just assumed that the other acolyte had heard or had felt something that just he hadn't yet. His own senses weren't the best after all, so it wouldn't have surprised him all that much.

Unfortunately, by luck or skill, the two acolytes wound up being spotted before they had the chance to sneak up to their enemies. They managed to get fairly close to the opening in the street, but that's when calamity struck. His eye widened, stumbling back in surprise as the bolt flew straight past them. He hadn't even seen it coming. "Fething-"

His curses were cut short as he dove down to avoid another incoming bolt, wincing as he hit the ground with an audible thud. He was quick to ignite his own sabre, scrambling up to quickly run and jump through into a building via a nearby window. By now he was across the street from Saket, popping his head up just in time to see his friend get struck in the shoulder.

"Saket! Are you okay?!" Right as he was about to hop back into the street to go and tend to his friend however, the other acolyte dove into the building after the shooter. "...yeah he's ok." He muttered to himself, another curse escaping him as a small flurry of blaster bolts punched through the door of the building that he was in.

He crawled on the floor, narrowly avoiding another volley, towards the nearly destroyed door. He pulled himself to his feet and kicked open the door, quickly bringing up his lightsaber to deflect an incoming bolt as he sprinted out into the open street.

ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS ARE GONE

It did not take long until Daeron discovered the controls for the substation main breakers. He smashed the controls’ emergency shutdown button. The was the sound of a winding down whirl and large mechanical devices snapping open. The smell of ozone penetrated the air.

Yet outside the substation where Ladybug Ladybug and UX-0626 UX-0626 could see, the anti-aircraft guns ceased to work. They lowered to the ground in their fail-safe state and no longer fired upon Sith ships.

For good measure, Daeron sliced his lightsaber into the substation controls. With that, the Sith and Eternal Empire forced would be able to send more aircraft without issue...
