Alric chuckled. "I imagine by now she's more than got that covered."

His arms tightened around her, drawing her up again so his beard could tickle against the skin of her stomach, his lips pressing against her navel.

"When she first went I had Kiran meet her." That was only days after she had gone. "He gave her equipment, among that a blaster. He told me he spent a few hours teaching her the basics."

A small smile tugged at his lips. "She's always been a quick learner."

That was something that Alric was immensely proud of. Rose knew how to pick up lessons like no one else. When she went into something, she went into it with full head and heart. It was remarkable how fast she learned to do things, even more so when she was actually interested in them.

"Just like her father?" Danger would quip out, giving a shift of her legs and a nudge of her hands to bring him back up. "Hmm... well guess we'll just have to see how it goes then." she'd say, adjusting herself comfortably upon the bed to draw him up for a kiss.

"If she does come round," she began to ask, mulling it over. "What do you want me to tell her?" was there something specific he wanted her to reveal? To say? Palms would brush along his flank, counting ribs, snaking up to draw him closer at the small of his back.

There was also Lily to consider. She hadn't heard much about the other twin lately and Danger wasn't one to pry. Alric revealed as much as he wanted, and he knew that the girls were the most important thing in his life. That was an area she wasn't treading into on her own accord yet.

A shrug slowly rolled over his shoulders. There were many things he would have liked to tell her, a great many things in fact. He wanted her to know that he loved her, that she, along with her sister, was Alric's everything. That he wanted her to come back home and that he wanted her to get to know Danger more. Most of all however, he wanted her to know that she should be happy, whatever that took.

"Tell her..." He mused for a moment, nuzzling her navel. "Tell her I love her."

A kiss planted. "Then tell her everything you want to, answer everything she asks...that you're okay with answering."

He gave her a small smile, not wanting to put too much on Danger all at once.

That was really the only limit. He had no secrets from his daughters, no tall tales he had told them. It was part of the promise that he had made himself, part of what he knew he had to do in order to be right with them.

Tenderness dawned over her features, and the Trade Queen gave a soft smile.

"I reckon I can do that," she told him quietly. There was no denying that the Tetan held a vast amount of love for his daughters. One would see it etched in every action and purpose that drove him daily. Everything he did was for them. Comparing then and now, it was still such a pleasant surprise. Twenty years had changed him for the better, and perhaps in a way, made her realize that things were the way they were supposed to be.

There is nothing that she would take back, but it was hard to say that there was nothing that she regretted. Everything had a time and place, I suppose, she thought to herself, feeling the silk of his hair as the slender digits of her fingers ran through it.

"Come on Mistah Kuhn," she added a moment later, encouraging him to come on up for a full body cuddle. "Reckon we can enjoy an other hour or so of this here bed," she alluded with a cheeky grin.

"Then maybe figure out if Erkard has her itinerary," a peck would brush his lips, the bristles of his beard prompting a wiggle of her nose in a tickle.

"Travel on out from there. "
