Elanil Saedaris
Science is My Lady
Objective 1 for both
Elanil Saedaris
Location: On the Ship with [member="Tegaea Alcori"]
While the ship was taking it's shot, an Eldorai sniffling made the mistake of stepping in front of Elanil. Her nose crinkled up, irritated and annoyed by the sight. It was far from how she viewed a good Eldorai in this situation, not to mention it was trying her nervous at that very moment when she was needed to help save the people of Kaeshana. Such distractions could never be allowed, not to mention she was in her way!
So, Elanil decided it was her duty to speak up. "Save those tears for your pillow. No one wants to see them. Real Eldorai don't cry. Now, get out of my way, before I snap your little neck." Not that Elanil was actually capable of snapping anyone's neck. She after all could not fight her way out of a wet paper bag, and putting a blaster in her hands was only dangerous to those standing next to her.
After new data was handed off to her, Elanil jotted some quick calculations down once more. Finally she spoke up, "That shot opened further fissures throughout the asteroid. We simple need to hit precisely center this time, and we should be able to knock a significant portion off. And hopefully nudge it a bit further off course." Or so the redhead hoped.

Cora gave a sweet nod to Eileithya. "Thank you." She whispered quietly, a little uncertain about being praised in such a manner. At the priestess' words, the blonde followed quickly along.
Finally they came into the healing area. Far too many wounded lay about, being tended to as best as could be done under the circumstances. Walking over, Cora gently laid the Eldorai woman down on the bed. A deep worried frown crossed her lips hearing that most of those in the room with her didn't have a precious ticket to escape the hell that was coming.
"It was quite kind of her to do that." She chose not to complain about the system that was at least saving the species in general. It just sucked that so many of the common people, good people would be left behind to die. It hardly seemed fair, not at all. And Cora couldn't help but feel a knot of guilt form in her stomach. She after all would make it off the planet alive. The same couldn't be said for the others in the room.
