Expansion: Sales for the Future

Valashu strode through the stalls of some random pothole of a planet, where didn't matter to him, as he was using the Force to track a possible aid in the expanding of revenues for Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. He had a vision, something odd for the man, of him and another that were conversing with this universe's Jensaarai's Saarai-Karr. It wasn't evident if he required the assistance of the other, but it could still make things more like what he had seen.

Slowly he looked about, hoping to spy the man. Before long, it just so happened that he did indeed do just that. Pausing, he stepped forward, "Got 2,000 credits if I can buy your time."

"Huh? Oh. Give me about 500 of that and I'll talk with you if it's about business, if not, keep your money." This man may not look it, but he was a CEO once in his life, and now has fallen on hard times.

"Deal." Valashu said, flipping a 500 credit coin into the air before the man. "Walk with me," He said, putting his hands in his pockets as he walked, "I am going to be blunt about it, I am sensitive to the Force. And in a recent vision, I saw you helping me make a contract with an organization that I hold dear to my heart. If I can commission you for a price, I wonder if I may further bargain for your services? Would you act as advisor to me during this deal I wish to broker?"

"Ah, so you are a fellow businessman? Explains the vibes I get from you. Which company was yours? I have done quite a bit of study into the past decade of commerce and economical effects, so if it has been since then I should have heard of it." Valashu said, ahead of them he could see a ship, "That will be our ride to Olympus. We will be there before long, and make our greetings with the faction before long!"

Stepping aboard the ship, he called to his pilot, "Jim, take us to Olympus as planned. Take it slow and steady though! My understanding is that this Zaiden is a powerhouse on the planet, its Godking! Don't want to start a war with the people there!"

"I have definitely heard of it. Quite the littler company that one." Valashu said, feeling the ship rock slightly as it rose to the air. Yawning a bit, he reclined in his seat and stared out the window at passing stars, "Sometimes I feel a bit...small ya know?" There was no way the other could understand fully, as Val now felt so infinitismally small having been in two universes so massive in size.

"Anyway, it will be a few minutes. I'm going to rest." In only seconds, Val was sound asleep...

Hours later...
Waking to the sound of Jim confirming their arrival on one of the most populated planets in existence, he yawned, stretched, then rose from his seat. Exiting the ship, he walked a little ways before an inspection officer stopped him, "Please contact Zaiden please. I need to speak with him about...certain qualities of service on the planet."

Hardly a second after he finished speaking, the man responded, "He will be here in but a moment."

Vladimir walked next to Valashu and cracked his knuckles absentmindedly as if to curb the habit he gained over the years. The old CEO thought the man was a little odd for knowing his company years after it ran itself to the ground though, however the CEO would simply ask later involving that... For right now he has business to attend to, and that currently is trying to get rid of an itch on the back of his neck that seemed to come out of nowhere.

"Karkin' 'ell, I don't understand how some people can deal with this place at first."

Val laughed, who would know that where he came from, Val'hala was the center of a massive galaxy dominating faction for almost a hundred years! "Its an acquired taste." He said, "Be warned though, the Godking, Zaiden, is quite the intense man I hear, very full of himself as well!" Turning his gaze, he stared at empty air for a long moment.

"Here he comes."

Zaiden was quite surprised to have his Force Cloak seen through, though he had not even been attempting to hard a focus - he hadn't believed them worth it. But very clearly, the young man that emanated the White Current stared him directly in the eyes, until he dropped his cloak.

Appearing before them, he looked to the Demi-God, "Thank you Orion. You may leave." Turning his attentions back to the newcomers he murmured, "As I foresaw...

"What is it I may help you with?" Zaiden asked, his voice emanating an authority that made the question more of a demand.

At a thought, his quiver arced an arrow into the air, where it was caught by Val's telekinetic abilities, hovering it near his face, he made it seem it balanced on the razor tip against the met tip of his pointer finger. He stayed silent for a long minute, then he flipped the arrow lightly through the air towards Zaiden, "That is a make of Merr-Sonn Munitions, just to show the quality of our work. I believe you may be in need of a place to house crafting your Jensaarai armor, and if not then weapons crafted by a skilled hand. Where I come from, these arrows are made on a single basis, by the warriors hand - I imagine the same for you. This simply is to taxing, and time consuming!"

After a moment of letting Zaiden see the arrow, it rocketed back towards his quiver, where it slid to a resting position easily. But Val had not done it. He arched a brow at this, as it meant Zaiden knew of the Current, and could use it as well.

"Well, how about a deal?"

Zaiden, though interested, had long ago learned that if one wanted to make a profit during times of making deals, they needed to haggle. However, instead of simply going for the gold, he decided to play it dumb; for now that is.

"Excellent craftsmanship. That is obvious. I imagine those can even pierce durasteel, in the right hands. With that though, I ask," Zaiden paused at this point, mostly for the dramatic flair, "-why? Why should the Jensaarai deal with Merr-Sonn, a long broken and disused company? Why should we meet in the end to harvest the oats reaped there?"

There was something off about this man, what it was he couldn't tell. His companion had remained stoicly silent, not even twitching, while the speaker seemed to know Zaiden intimately. Enough to know how to get ahold of him, where he was, that he was a bent light specialist, amongst other things. But that was just it! Zaiden had never met this man.

Valashu sighed, there was little he could say if the man simply didn't wish to purchase. But, as it was, he knew enough of Zaiden to know he was a metallurgy fanatic, which meant that the arrows craft had likely peaked his interest. Thus, why was he playing that it hadn't? Even that it was a nuisance to deal with Val?

Internally he smiled, as it clicked. Cat and mouse. He wanted to feign uninteresting, until the deal was far more in his favor. But it was a little to early, as a deal had yet been offered. So all Val needed, was to make an offer so insignificant that when it was upped by the bargaining, it would still be reasonable.

"Because, Merr-Sonn, though reviving itself from the depths of decay, has all the resources you may need to make arms for your people." Valashu replied, "Besides, the Jensaarai are a people that love their secrecy. Something Merr knows quite a bit about."

Suddenly realizing something, Zaiden found himself wondering about those last comments. How had this man come to know of Zaiden? Ninety percent of the galaxy believed he was dead, that or had long ago gone into hiding after faking his demise. Thus, what was it that led him to find Zaiden? As well, during his days, prior to death, he had never vocally opened up about being Saarai-Karr of his people.

How did Valashu know!?

"You reveal something to me that I likely should have realized a moment ago." Zaiden said, "How do you know of my position? Why do you know of my people staying here, or of who they are, despite the best attempts at secrecy? Who told you of my being Saarai-Karr??"

At this, he took a step closer, and without warning began to draw power from the Force. If something happened, he would decimate both of the people before him, without hesitation.

Valashu froze ever so slightly, Feth. I thought that would all be common knowledge in this universe.. Val thought to himself. He had officially, easily as well, put himself in a position he could not get out of. It was as of that moment, obvious that the research that Valashu had performed over the years had not been detailed enough.

"Word of mouth mostly. I could go into the whole, I heard from a friend that talked to a coworker who spoke to his cousin, charade." Val said, forcing a smile, "But I guess that's to much. To narrow it down, spoken word reached me of your people and you."

His arm twitched towards his bow, almost wishing to simply assassinate Zaiden and move on. But there were complications with this: could he do such, knowing that Zaiden specialized in the same skills he did, as well that he had Mastered those very same skills at a higher level than he likely ever would?

They were Zaiden's specialty, unlike his own skill level being high but not focused on those the most.

Zaiden stood a bit taller at this blatant lie, "No." It was a single word, yet spoke fathoms of the factual points hidden in his own careful design of events that had transpired since he was reborn. No one, save those he let know, knew he lived. It also would not be word of mouth. Those that may have known, and would be talkative about such, were a few Sith-lings and it likely they would die then reveal where they had received training!

"Tell me the truth. Or face a battle I'm not sure that either of us wants." He said calmly.

With the same skill he had learned long ago, he continued to siphon from the energies around them. But now, he also focused on the very life forms themselves. With his Tera Vampir essence added, he had gained a great deal when it came to Force Drain, and this he applied to all of the beings nearby save the two before him, so they would be unaware. The sheer number of targets to draw from was to high to need worry about harming his own people. Little bits were taken from everyone.

A sigh escaped his lips, he had attempted a tactic that could have worked in plenty of other situations: grabbing in the dark, for straws, made of carbon steel, at the bottom of a lake. Ok maybe that was a dramatic way of putting it. But in no way did it knock down the potential dangers of facing this man. In his universe, Tenebrae was a powerhouse with an undead army that dominated several planets, with JAC being his main way of bringing the virus he made to other planets and sectors.

"I am not from here." Valashu finally admitted, "I come from a universe very similar to this, yet castle different. It has surprised me how many of the people I once knew, live here with different memories, none of me despite our journeys elsewhere." He said, "Where I come from, it is common knowledge that you were once the Saarai-Karr, that Val'hala was under your domain, and that you had a very strict love for metallurgy."

Having admitted so much, he wondered how it would play, as he had never revealed his origins to anyone other than his mirror-wife and Jules. Now, he opened himself to a man that was utterly mad where he came from, that could become the same here in this.

Had. Was. At these past tense words, Zaiden couldn't deny his curiosity. What happened to him in this other... place? Was he alive? Had he perished in some grand battle? Or had he simply faded away in some unimportant way? He hoped, if he was dead, that it had been in a battle that would change things for whoever it would. Dieing for nothing, in old age, assassinated, anything like that, was utterly the worst thing he could imagine.

Then he realized the potential that these were legitimate truths. He had been in that other universe, the one where the Empire controlled everything. It wasn't as if he was the only one either. An old friend had been found there, that had come from this universe as well. So there was definite proof that such existed.

But did that mean he simply believed it on the words of another? No.

"Show me. Open your mind, relive your memories while I watch." Zaiden replied, calm, yet with a hint of something...forced.
