Cherry Bomb
Ara listened closely to Valery's explanation of the meditation, and she couldn't deny that it sounded daunting at first. But as the Master continued to explain, Ara realized just how useful it could be if she actually managed to get a hang of it. Not only would it help her stay in shape, a vain thought that she usually preferred not to admit, it would also help her to vent all of her frustrations and cool off. Even before this talk, it was something she tried to work on. That was partially why she loved podracing so much, it helped her to get rid of that pent up anger and think more clearly.
This was certainly a lot safer.
"I definitely wanna learn it." She spoke up with a stiff nod. "I... I got a short fuse. Anything that can help me stay cool, fit, and also help me to be a better person? Hell yeah, you don't need to tell me twice. Laundry's gonna pile up, though." She admitted with a soft snicker as she looked at the woman. Upon addressing the issue with her hilt, Valery went on to offer her services, though Ara shook her head upon mentioning that she could do it. "Nah... I wanna do it. I just need someone to show me how. You're cool, though. I got nothin' fancy or some of those wacky crystals. Don't need 'em, in my opinion. If Jedi could kick ass for thousands of years without some wacky crystals, then I can as well with this one." Her voice was firm as she studied her weapon.
It was special to her, yet it also felt like something she didn't deserve. "I'd appreciate it if you could help me out. Legit. I like you. I think you and my mom would prolly get along nice. I'd rather ask you to help me out than a random stranger." She continued as she lifted her head and stared at the woman.
A smile soon formed. A genuine smile, one she didn't try to hide or rub off. "Thanks, though. For real, you helped me out a ton today. Gave me a lot to think about." She stated proudly.
