Faction Group Plot: Raids?

Alright so, the faction is gaining members almost as quickly as its losing them and as a result i think that is a sign that we need to get out there more. I posted a faction thread and only half of you guys responded to it so i think we need to all discuss what we would all like to do as a faction. We are rather limited because of our minor status but hopefully we can all come up with something that everyone can have fun with.


We need to expose ourselves a bit more and collect interest. Perhaps a raid? If anyone is interested in that.

I say we find some non-Faction aligned world (maybe the Rakatan Ruins on Dantooine?), descend upon it, raid it unimpeded, take off with our loot, and leave a calling card behind, just to announce our arrival.

A raid sounds cool, but im biased, i'd be cool with just about anything from that to training to just chatting in a tavern.

I do think we should do some training threads, too, for people wanting to learn about Void magic

I am a bit busy with other threads at the moment but I wouldn't mind working on making faction-related gear and stuff in the meanwhile.

Actually it wouldn't be bad to do a bit of both the training threads that [member="Evan Kenner"] and [member="Lavania"] wanted to do and the crafting that [member="Særa Ayña Savan"] want. We just do some force/void training in a group and do material runs for the crafting. Could even find a way to combine the two if we wanted to.

That is just my opinion. I am up for anything we do.

I do like the idea of group training. I've never done a raid before but it sounds fun to me. I'm up for anything honestly. Need the practice.

Took me forever to notice who Lady Sovereign is..

Neat.

If we're planning a raid, I'd consider producing an army of mutant soldiers to help crush our opposition. This wouldn't come cheap, but it's an option nonetheless.

We dont have to do one big training thread, either. Evan knows a couple of Lightsaber forms he can teach, if anyone would be interested. Maybe we can even do some flying. Evan's always been a pretty good pilot.

When it comes to training, Gray can also teach those interested in non-force related tactics. Such as how to use a blaster, proper grenade use, how to successfully jump from a ship onto another ship and set up timed explosives on it. The simple things.

I very much agree with Jack on this one. Do a group training thread for are newer members, and also this would be a good time to do raids on factions against the awoken, maybe even stage attacks on Glyss' moons instead of the planet itself.

I would have thought we had more freedom as a minor faction, we not as militarily strong as a major faction but we are more flexible.

I am fine with whatever is planned, sorry for not responding too often in the main thread. Been a bit busy.

While I love to steal things and raid, I think it would be a great idea to do training as a first thread.
