Faction Plot: War of Winter

Hey guys. Winter here to bring you all a possible faction wide plot for The Awoken in order to grow the faction organically with the help of the members. As most of you already know, the eventual plan is for the faction to grow to the point where they take back Winters Home System that has been taken over by an oppressive force when she was a child which resulted in her family being dethroned and chased away while her people suffer.


So this plot idea will be explained in bullet points to simplify because it gets a little complicated.

• Faction gains support and members in order to grow their forces.

• Create ships and a small fleet for the future invasion.

• Train and thread with members to grow their abilities.

• Prepare for the war/dominion/campaign by creating weapons and armor.

• Begin the battle for the four planets of the system

• One planet ends up getting destroyed near the end of the battle.

• The destruction of the planet causes a Nebula Nexus around the rest of the system.

• After the victory, they are given access to a new form of metal that rivals that of other lightsaber resistant material known as Chatterwhite Steel.

• From there The Awoken use the system and its remaining three planets as their own independent territory

So this plot is specifically designed to be a BIG Faction Plot AND Dev Thread for the creation of a Force Nexus as well as a brand new form of Steel that has a super cooling aspect that can prevent damage from heat based weapons such as blaster bolts and possibly deflect lightsabers.



So what do you guys think? Any ideas or comments? Questions or concerns? I just want you guys to have a good time so i've been in the process of creating a buttload of content for the faction. lol

I am definitely ready to contribute posts in that direction. Hank isn't a fighter though, so we would have to work out a role for him if he stays with The Awoken in the long term.

Even if there is no official role, he will certainly be a friend.

I like the plot, the only problem would be finding members. If you need a personal bodyguard at any point, I'm here! Even without magical strength, Ghorua here can bend durasteel.

I am ready to help where I can. The metal is interesting, but I think it will probably end up being something along the lines of an alchemy project rather than creating an entirely new metal. Just guessing.

Again, I think Ultimatum will be giving more technical and technological support than Force or fighting support. Never know though, maybe he will show up for some bigger battles.

That would be nice, at the moment he has only two special bodies, being his first and the Phrik body. Never say no to a new body. Maybe get one of the restricted metals to work with and then alchemy that?

Well I am working on a Nueranium thread, not sure what to do with that but I did not think of making a body out of that stuff, either that or perhaps do a thread for Ultrachrome. Which would you suggest?

If I had to chose I'd go with Ultrachrome instead of Nueranuim it would at least give you protection from lightsabers and blasters on par with phrick.
