How can staff decide it's a problem if nobody has a problem with it?
That's pretty easy, it's called leadership.

I don't support ideas because of their consensus. I support ideas because of their merit. I don't support a post because it has 20+ love reactions under it. I determine how I feel about it independently.
And I have morals, independent of any one person and any one thing in existence. I am in a role where using them is often demanded.
TLDR;
Nobody and me are cool, and the two of us go way back. Nobody had the first opinion I respected here at Chaos.
