Strengths:
- Launches flechette rounds!: I mean what's better in life than shooting flechette rounds at your foe? And in pistol form too! This makes it idea against saber jockeys since flechette rounds explode and send a spray of razor sharp shrapnel. I don't know about you but that gets me up in the morning!
- Quick reload: Reloading this launcher is as easy as hitting the eject button, sliding a new clip in, and racheting the round in the chamber. No rotating cylinders, no mess, no fuss.
- Takes the hits, keeps the pounding going: Throw this baby in the mud--she don't care, she'll keep shooting. Toss her in the water, she'll keep shooting. This pistol comes with mando grit and its too legit to quit because of a little abuse.
- Has a limited range: Flechette rounds aren't intended to go the distance. These guys put out a lot of fire power over a short range and really don't/can't exceed that.
- Limited damage type: Ok, so you have a lot of weapons that do both heat and bludgeoning or ion and bludgeoning or shrapnel and heat or whatever combination to make sure that your bases are covered. This thing just does shrapnel damage at your foes.
- Jamming: Like all pistols based on a clip or magazine its more prone to jamming than its counter parts that use dual barrels or rotating cylinders. To fix this, pull the slide back, eject the round and shoot again. Anyone who's been shooting these things longer than not knows how to fix it, but in a fire fight that can be precious seconds--especially if you were counting on that round to save your buddy.
Ages ago, when swords were the primary weapon of the day, Hussars were light cavalry units that relied on speed to move then into the enemy territory, hit it fast and, hard, and move out. These warriors relied on light but brutally effective weapons that could dish out a lot of damage against infantry masses.
Although times change, tactics never change that much. To continue RMIA's line of pistol weapons, the FAF Hussar Flechette pistol was designed. Used up close and personal, this pistol wrecks havoc on Force Users, heavily armored beings, and masses of infantry alike.
Here's how it works: A clip of 12 flechette rounds is loaded into the grip of the pistol with ease. Pull the slide back to load your first round, thumb the safety off and your good to go. Every time the trigger is pulled your sending a gift to whatever is down range--the gift of Flechette of course. The round explodes in mid air sending hundreds of little razor edge blades at the target that even the grand master Mace Windu couldn't fully dodge with his alacrity and Force enhancement. Just keep pulling the trigger until whatever is down range gives up the ghost--or until you jam... or run out of bullets.
All in all, its just a Flechette pistol to use and feel amazing doing it.
