Vekshi got the word out to Vega and Rajaverde regarding the wilderbeast.
Vega and Rajaverde however had found that out for themselves as they reached the geothermal energy center and had gone through several of the works. Wilderbeast gummed them up something fierce, however; there were droids on standby and had never been utilized. Such so that the two men decided to take hold of the droids programming station and gear them to clean up the muck in the geothermal energy center. In the meanwhile, they would have to bait and wrangle the beasts.
Vekshi felt helpless on the matter but decided rather than pout on it he would give his advice to the men. How to best distract the beast and perhaps persuade them top side. He would have teams at the ready to create more suitable areas for the creatures that would not directly impact the geothermal energy center. Chatter on the comms regarding the sudden fight around the Complex and more importantly the Biological Research Center came around to Vega.
The First Order would not give up on Najarka and neither would Vega. Once the droids had cleared some of the works up, Vega could then work on properly reactivating the energy center and give life back to Najarka itself. Teams fresh from Absit would touch down on Najarka and rush to the geothermal energy center. Their goal would be to bring the planet to life all the while working side by side with the suggestions brought to them by Sor-Jan Xantha to create a back-up power system so that this catastrophic shutdown would not happen again.
Ivor quietly got down beside the two women to him the smells, were just smells, there was nothing glorious or terrible about them. Still, he knew Vernice well enough to know she wouldn't want to be there for long. On Dr. Chrisholm's part, Ivor wasn't wrong, she hated being here and while her counterpart seemed to be more a touch more delicate to the local fauna. Chrisholm wasn't, perhaps that was the Core speaking, where towers of durasteel and glass ruled the day.
Even so, she didn't cut indiscriminately the natural way of the planet had to be preserved as best as possible. White fur stood out against the green and brown colors of the jungle. She directed her attention toward the primates, "one should think so, waking up among friends that is, better than alone." Commented Dr. Chrisholm as she readied her tranquilizer gun. Ivor just as well readied his and remarked, "I'm a quick shot, Doctor."
Once she had given the order, the man kept his word in the time it took the women to take out one each, he had taken out two. A credit to the training he had received prior to joining Dr. Chrisholm. "Let's tag them, and move on to the next set," remarked Ivor matter-of-factly.
Marasigan steadily worked to apply stims and medication to the Moff. "Stang indeed, there won't be much left once it's over and if not from us. Then from our wonderful soon-to-be-dead compadres throwing mortars our way, bite down on this." She gave the Moff a bite guard and grabbed hold of the stim needle. It wasn't so much that it was going to hurt but that where it was being injected was going to add insult to injury to put it plainly. Once the nurse had finished with that task she continued her conversation, "I'd say it was definitely the too-stealthy bit, however; that only means he's going to mess up and leave a trail."
"Soon, we're working on clearing out a safe landing zone for the ambulatory ships and evac shuttles," remarked Marasigan. "We'll get you aboard an evac shuttle for your ship and get you out to safety." The area where the two occupied had quickly become an impromptu forward operating base. The shouting of orders and the roll of equipment and vehicles were sounded around the tent the two women sat in. A tent that was quickly filling up, "we'll start with moving you to an evac tent."
The Chief Nursing Officer would call for Ana-Sera Beliq and Nix to keep the Moff safe in the interim.
Meanwhile CD had heard the magic words from his Sergeant. "Open fire. Crack those cans."
CD if it was the one thing that Pvt. Callias "Shaky" Deastris was good at, was firing the gun of that tank. His aim was true and his shots were fast, he aimed exactly where he needed to in order to 'crack' open the AT-STs. The tanks went ham on their opponents and the men who crewed them were quickly starting to realize that they were on the losing side of the battle. Even with their artillery firing the line of AT-STs wouldn't hold out for much longer against the tanks of the First Order.
Safe to say that by the end of this skirmish the First Order would have properly taken Najarka, and provided its people with power and a solution to maintain its energy grid. The Najarkan Authorities would be pressed on the Warlord that had suddenly made a last-minute appearance. And at least two of them would give him up to intelligence when persuaded. When it was all said and done, Najarka happily joined the First Order's ever-growing family of worlds.
