Private Familiar Connections Pt 2

Kyra perked a little. She couldn't help herself. It was just- "Barriers are my best thing!" And it was also the thing that failed her that day in Kintan. For all her skill in saving them inside a crumbling building, she had barely held up for a moment to fend off the energy of the sith lord. Her chest twinged at the reminder of the darkness that had filled her.

Her fingers clenched around the pendent, her expression growing somber in an instant. She was switching between moods at a disorienting rate, even more so now that they had touched back down. She gave no explanation. "...Thank you, she murmured, her voice a little thick. All her reservations melted away, the girl wanting the pendant's aid more than ever. The future was so scary. She was sure she was going to have need of it.

A meow chirped from their ankles, a soft thing weaving between her legs. "... Maybe bring her next time you do a talk at Silver Rest?" A leaver her there. Please.

One of the few skills he had picked up along the way was to make barriers. It stuck with him in the past, and was something he was using more and more, as opposed to hurling the very essence of the light side at his foes. Not all of them deserved it, but it was an option he chose. Barriers, and especially ones he could use to block people from moving, were something very important, and a bit of the easier uses of the Force that had a devastating effect when applied correctly. And the added bonus of keeping people alive.

When she grabbed it, Coren couldn’t help but smile. It was an interesting thing, watching her take it, hopefully it would help her, and maybe even direct her to figuring out what she wanted to do with the destiny and family posed before her.

“She’ll stay aboard here, and definitely make sure she gets herself to the Rest. But now that you’re here, is there anything you need from the galaxy at large? Didn’t realize the Silvers were keeping their Padawans hostage.” He grinned, knowing he could smuggle in Space Twinkies pretty easily. “Or are you ready to find Yula?”

"Ummmm, Nope- nah- I'm good,' she chirped, barely paying him heed. She slipped the necklace over her head, her gaze already turning to the doors. She was more than able to sneak off Silver Rest whenever she had a need, and often did so! Much to Caedyn Arenais dismay...

But none of that mattered now. Her Master was near, and then! Her sister! Kyra hadn't seen Yula properly for what felt like years. Life day just wasn't enough, and even then-- it wasn't the one on one time was what she preferred. They were gonna talk fashion. She bounced in place, eager to get going. "Well ok by then!" She turned, only to pause and waver. Last time she had given him a hug goodbye, the action having come naturally to the zeltron born and raised. Now she gave him a look.

Anxiety bursted through her as she turned and ran, her red curls bouncing in her wake. No further words were said, the girl trying not to think on it at all.

She had more important things to do.
