Fancy Parties and Evil Corporations (PM to Join)

I'd been thinking about Crosswire's deal with Evil Corp recently and after considering it I'd decided that now would be as good a time as any to head back to Coruscant. I'd heard from a contact that Celiana had put me in touch with that there was to be some kind of fancy party in the upper levels of Coruscant and on a whim I'd looked into the possibility that Evil Corp had some kind of presence there. Turns out they would have a small group there and they were higher level executives. After talking with Crosswire I'd had him start up work on some fake credentials for himself.

I still had the documents from my homeworld of Corellia stating that I was nobility. Once anyone did any serious checking we'd perhaps have a problem but if they did I could simply say that I was a member of exiled nobility which would actually hold up. Jae wouldn't exactly need any paperwork or ID especially since she'd be with me. The topic of things to wear since it'd be a decently high-class party was in question. It'd make for a good high-class heist and opportunity to swipe some Evil Corp credentials that Crosswire could use however he needed.

Heading out my door, I walked to Jae's quarters and knocked on her door. "Hey Jae, I've got something you might like to see that has to do with our next destination. When you get a chance come on in to my quarters, first though go ahead and plot a course to Coruscant then go ahead and meet me."

Jae was in her quarters out towards the back of her room where there was a somewhat free space, unoccupied by any dressers or the bed. She was practising her bladework by herself, not with any weaponry, simply using her imagination. She wasn't specifically learning any new skills or anything too complex mainly getting used to the movements in bladework. Despite training with a few people now she felt it would be on her best interests and to her benefit if she regularly got used to the movements, which would in turn make her fighting smoother when in a real duel.

She heard the knock on her door and froze in position for a moment, waiting to hear who it was. She heard Andorreth's voice and relaxed her arm, returning to a normal standing position as she listened to what he was saying. Her brows furrowed slightly at the mention of Coruscant she wasn't entirely sure what they were going there for but, Captain's orders. She'd ask about it later when she met with him in his own quarters. "Alright." She replied back, acknowledging the orders given. Moving over to her bed, she sat down and tightened the laces on her shoes and fixing her hair before heading out.

She walked up to the cockpit and moved around to reach the control panel. Standing in front of it she pressed a few buttons and swiped across a couple things until she found what she was after, Coruscant. She finished up and set the ship on a course straight to Coruscant.

Leaving the cockpit she headed back down to the quarters and reached Andorreth's, knocking on the door, it opened. "Hey, what'd you want to show me?" She asked curiously.

Opening the door to my quarters I let Jae in and pulled on a shirt quickly. Grabbing her hand I said "Close your eyes for a second Jae." Leading her to the bed I said "Okay Jae go ahead and open your eyes." I'd picked up some nice things for Jae on our last fuel stop and resupply station. Now I knew they'd work for her, and not just for this party and heist. There was a box on my bed with a nice dress, a pair of heels and some jewelry.

In another small wooden box there were two pieces of jewelry for her. The first was a ring and the second a necklace, I was wondering what her reaction would be to all this but honestly I could afford to drop the credits to spoil her. More than that though I wanted to, I mean with the nomadic lifestyle and all it made sense to treat everyone to something nice and go ahead and drop massive amounts of cash to do it.

Looking at Jae to see her expression I waited... Odds were we as a crew wouldn't get many nights where thievery and actual fun could coincide so closely. I wanted to make sure that every so often we could do that as a crew and make it a sort of family outing. Odds were fancy parties weren't really Crosswire's thing anyways but Evil Corp would be leaving him alone soon enough. Next time it'd be a club and we could all wear whatever we wanted... Looking at Jae I walked up behind her and whispered in her ear "So...what do you think Jae? I mean you did say you love the color blue...."

She narrowed her eyes a little all the while beginning to smirk suspiciously at him, "What're you up to?" She said laughing lightly before she complied and shut her eyes. She felt him lead her forward and into his room, she took slow and cautious steps before he brought her to a stop. She opened her eyes once she was told she was allowed to and looked around, her eyes falling onto his bed, noticing a few boxes spread out. She looked over at him, slightly confused only to receive a soft smirk as he nodded towards the boxes, gesturing for her to open them.

She opened the larger box and saw the front of a blue dress, her eyes went wide and her lips parted slightly. She grabbed the dress and pulled it out of the box holding it out in front of her as the dress unfolded. She looked between the dress and Andorreth frankly speechless, she loved it! "Andorreth! It's beautiful!" She exclaimed before gently putting it down and moving onto the next box, looking at the shoes and running her fingers over the velvet soft material. She opened the last but smaller box as her eyes fell on the light blue jewellery, she especially loved the ring, taking it out of the box and instantly trying it on.

She heard Andorreth speak quietly from behind her and her head instantly looked forward diverting her attention away from the jewellery before turning back to face him, "That's why you asked for my favourite colour!" She replied as if everything was now crystal clear. She turned her head back to look at all of articles of clothing and looked back at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and leaning in closer, "Thank you." She said, leaning up to kiss him gently before pulling away, "Though what's all this for?" Despite her strong love for the dress she knew she'd obviously have to wear it for whatever Andorreth had planned, and she couldn't help the self-conscious thought in the back of her head about wearing the dress, she'd never really worn anything like it before.

Smiling at her reaction to everything I said "Well....there's a few reasons for all the glam. First yeah, that was the whole reason for my asking about your favorite colour. Secondly we're heading to Coruscant because I'm planning on mixing business with pleasure there's this party in the upper city that I was planning on taking you to...However there'll also be some higher ranking executives of Evil Corp there. The plan is to show you a good time first of all and secondly to abscond with Evil Corp executive credentials for Crosswire. We'll probably be on Triple Zero for at least a few days depending on a few things."

"Plus there's also some connections that we can make with some people Celiana sent me several messages about. Apparently her "friend" Zara has some connections here on Coruscant and we'll be staying at her safehouse while here meaning that we'll be well taken care of. Though honestly I wouldn't worry about too much, the party I'll be showing you off at will be tomorrow evening on Coruscant which gives us time to get things squared away at the safe house and simply enjoy a relatively normal night on the town. I will say though that I may act like a rich, entitled twit at this party to avoid people asking to many questions. Especially since I'm going as exiled Corellian nobility..."

Wrapping my hands around her waist I leaned in and whispered "I'm glad you like your gifts love. I thought you deserved to have a few nights out on the town and look like the prettiest one there while doing it." Then I gently kissed her neck. I'd have to go grab Crosswire in a bit and talk with him about the plan but for now Jae took priority...

"Ohh, party, fancy." Jae couldn't help getting excited inside for the party, she'd never been to anything like this before and it sounded quite fun to attend. She put her excitement on hold and continued to pay close attention when Andorreth began talking about Evil Corp. She nodded when Andorreth explained the plan and looked forward to it, the entire thing, she liked the idea of mixing business with pleasure as he'd phrased it.

She tilted her head to the side slightly as he began to speak of Zara, Celiana's 'friend'. "Why'd you say it like that? Friend? Is there something else?" She spilled out a bunch of questions as her eyes narrowed slightly, wondering if there was more to this 'Zara' than he was telling her. She continued to listen until her eyes went wide at the mention of the party being tomorrow evening, "Tomorrow evening?! But that's tomorrow evening!" She looked a little confused at the ground as she processed what she'd just said as excitement and nervousness started to take over.

She looked back up at him, "Y'know, I sometimes forget you're nobility." She said half absent-mindedly. "I do love my gifts, thank you again, they're beautiful." She thanked him once again, she truly did love everything he'd gotten her and honestly couldn't wait till tomorrow evening to put it all on.

A smile tugged at the corner of my mouth. "Aye friend, the way it sounds she and Celiana were a thing and I suppose still could be. I did some checking of my own though and she's reliable and trustworthy as far as people go. Not to mention when I lived here last I heard stories of how....thorough she was with jobs. She was known for being....shall we say final with certain jobs especially those dealing in the gangs that trafficked other species for slavery."

I smiled at her apparent outrage of having to wait until tomorrow evening until the party. "Ahhh but you see Jae you get to see where I lived when I was still there on Coruscant. The kind of life I dealt with before meeting you and having a ship of my own. Plus I know some of the best places in the middle class levels along with the best places for disappearing on the planet. Plus we need to set up shop in the safehouse for at least a couple days."

As she mentioned my being nobility I smirked and said "Well I suppose exiled nobility still counts, but with the way things are going odds are I'll be back on Corellia facing my past soon enough. As it stands it's nice that you said nobility and made no mention of the fact I'm still an exile. For now though I'd say it's been far too long since I did this..." Gently I pushed her back on my bed and kissed her neck while gently biting. "More of that after the party and maybe even before the party. As for thanks well...you're welcome but I think you'd be just as beautiful without them. They simply accentuate the beauty that's already there Jae."

She paid close attention when Andorreth started to talk more about his Zara that they'd be meeting up with soon enough. Despite not knowing much about this Zara, she trusted Andorreth enough to not question his judgement and for now that was all she needed. Besides, Celiana knew Zara as well which only added to the many reasons to not worry about Zara. Instead of worrying Jae focused on the party and getting excited.

She smiled, "I don't mind, I can wait until tomorrow evening." She glanced back at the dress and then back towards Andorreth, "I haven't been to Corusant before, this should be fund." She added, she'd never done anything fancy like this so this was a first time experience which was leading to her extreme excitement mixed with nervousness. Though she would not rather have done it with anyone else, she was looking forward to tomorrow evening, it'd been a while since she'd ever gotten so excited for an event.

"You may be exiled by Corellia and its people, but I think you were wrongly exiled, therefore it doesn't count in my books." She explained all the while smiling at him and laughing lightly as he pushed her back onto his bed, she gently moved the boxes out of the way, using her leg to slide them over to one side. She smiled at his comment and found his lips with her own before she began to kiss him gently. She pulled away a second afterwards though to speak, "Wait, what're you wearing to the party?" She asked curiously

Smiling at her optimistic nature I looked into Jae's baby-blue eyes and said "It's a surprise silly girl." Before she could interrupt I said "Rest assured I'll make it look good, you may have to fight yourself to keep your hands off me." Shooting her a sultry wink I tapped the comm button and said "Jax my man, first things can you head into the the cockpit and get an estimate for how long it'll take to make Coruscant orbit? I'll wait so you can get that info for me."

Looking at Jae I said "I'm not sure if you'll change your view of me any when you see where I came from on Coruscant Jae, thing is I used to live like the people in the gleaming upper levels of Coruscant until my exile. It'll likely be difficult to see why I chose this life against immediately going back to Corellia. Though odds are it'll give you an understanding of my appreciation for those of "lower class" status." I made sure to roll my eyes and use air quotes when I said lower class. I'd always hated how some noble families had said that with disdain in their voice. The people of lower class most times had more freedom in the way they lived and who they loved. No pre-arranged marriages, no assassins targeting them for political gain, just....living.

The comms crackled and Jax said "Captain Jax has found a special hyperspace lane and switched us to that. Jae positioned us perfectly to merge into that lane. I believe you owe her congratulations, also Jax has an update for you sir. We should be arriving in orbit over Coruscant in thirty minutes Jax will begin silent count down that will go audible five minutes until re-emergence in realspace." Tapping the comm button I said "Thank you Jax. I'd like everyone to meet in the ops room by the cockpit ten minutes before the audible alert, Andorreth out."

I still had to go and find Crosswire...better that he find out from me I guess. Though we had discussed it when he and I had been on Tatooine. He may be excited to actually get Evil Corp off his back...good food and high-class and underworld parties might not be against his beliefs either. Glancing at Jae I said "I'll see you back in the ops room, need to go find Crosswire but you and I are going to end up bringing the Salvation into port together."

She couldn't help but laugh at his comment about keeping her hands off of him once she saw him tomorrow evening, "You." She started to speak while pointing at his chest with one finger, "Are so full of yourself!" She joked, laughing at the end of her statement. Though, she would admit, she had trouble keeping her hands off of him on a regular basis and she had no doubt that tomorrow evening would make it even more difficult for her to behave.

She tilted her head slightly and furrowed her brows in the tinniest bit, "You don't need to worry about how my perception of you will change based on your past. I don't care about what happened in your past." She finished, only before realising what she'd just said, noticing the last bit sounded quite rude, "Not to say that I'm not interested, in your past. I am." She quickly corrected what she said, "I just meant that no matter what comes of it, my view on you won't change." She glanced to the side before looking back up at him and offering a smile. She gave him a quick kiss before gently pushing him off and sitting up, hopping off of the bed.

She nodded her head when Andorreth informed her that the two of them would be bringing the Salvation in to port. "I look forward to it!" She said cheerily. "I'll see you in the ops room." She grabbed all of the boxes ad headed out to leave his room, "Thanks again Anorreth!" She called out as she was in the doorway.

I sit at the bar, drinking up a nicely colored mixed drink. Not sure what it is at this point, having too many types of liquor to count, but it gets the job done. It's all a waiting game and meeting the right people a this point. I hate politics. It gives me indigestion. I lean back against the bar admiring the scenery of space for a moment before watching Andorreth walk in. "Heeeeyyy Andy, how's the mission prep going? As for me it's goin alright. Just brushing up on some of the lastest exploits out there. Patches are hell for a slicer in my opinion. Some see them as puzzles, but they're really just ment to torture the soul of any slicer who's been in the business long enough." I look at my glass. Empty. Again. Hmnnn.. maybe I should slow down a bit.

"I saw the dress that you got Jae. Nice stuff. Gonna treat this like a date?" I chuckle a bit and give him a jab in the shoulder, just to try and play. I don't understand why but people seem to like this behavior so I just go with it.

Smiling at Crosswire's....open drunkeness I was reminded of someone Celiana had told me about having worked with. James Justice heavy drinker, heavy flirt, bit of a wildcard who didn't mind wanton slaughter. Thank the Force and Goddesses Crosswire was a slicer and preferred....cleaner solutions. Looking towards him I snagged his glass and poured myself some whiskey "Ahhh the dress, well to be fair yeah kinda a date but more of a business date. You like good food and booze that other people are paying for right? Well based on my information there'll be a small group of Evil Corp. executives at this party I figured it was time for you to stop looking over your shoulder plus lifting their credentials and programming new ID's with us as those executives could be beneficial to getting what you want from Evil Corp."

Pausing I took a sip of the whiskey before sloshing it around in the glass. "Thing is this party has some very influential people, Evil Corp execs included. Politicians, bankers, nobility...lots of targets and lots of chances to either gather intel on them or make some powerful allies. Not to mention there's also a payload of vertex and a blackbox in the facility this party is to take place with. As it is you from what I've seen prefer stealth to head on engagements so it'll be your job to crack the vaults. Anything of Evil Corp. is yours but the vertex and other valuables are the crews' stuff. We'll split it all evenly each gets a share with you retaining any and all Evil Corp property you come across."

"The party is tomorrow, we'll land tonight at a shadowport in the middle levels of the city. Celiana put us in contact with her bounty contact Zara. She'll be doing the pre-op setup at the location of the party leaving tools for us and you specifically. Apparently Celiana let her know to give you top shelf tech gear. Also Zara left me a message that said there was information you might be interested in. Something about an old associate...In any case after we land at her compound where we'll be setting up there's the safehouse Zara owns what I can tell it's top-class in terms of protection and class."

Draining the rest of the whiskey in one smooth swig I placed the glass bottoms up on the counter in front of Crosswire. "Soon enough Crosswire you won't be looking over your shoulder looking to be shot in the back by Evil Corp. Maybe even cause a little mayhem of your own on corporations exploiting others...Your choice though my man. Ops center in five my man you know the situation and so does Jae just a quick meeting though." Gently squeezing his shoulder I turned and headed back down the halls to wait for everyone in the ops center. Afterwards I'd re-join Jae in the cockpit to bring us in for our landing at Zara's Shadowport.

After leaving Andorreths room Jae had stopped back off at her own quarters and picked up her leather jacket as well as doing a quick check of all of her belongings. On top of that, she dropped off all the boxes from Andorreth's room, making sure nothing happened to any one of them and that they were all in good condition, the last thing she wanted was for something to happen to any one of the things he'd gotten her.

The trio would be landing at a shadowport soon enough and be departing. She still couldn't get the dress out of her head though, she was extremely excited for the party tomorrow night and just wanted to land the Salvation and get to it already. Ruffling her hair a little she left her quarters and headed up to the cockpit. She sat in the pilots seat, giving it a bit of a spin as she sat down. She looked over all the panels and made sure everything was going well, flight wise, making sure nothing was wrong with any of the engines as well as any other part of the ship. Despite the ship not officially being her own personal ship, she treated it with the same care that she would give her own spacecraft. With all the scans, charts and statistics showing nothing but positive results she hopped off the seat and took towards the ops room, where she'd meet back up with Andorreth and Crosswire.

Entering the room she took a seat in the nearest chair and awaited the arrival of her teammates.

I'd made my way to the ops room where Jae had been waiting, Crosswire was there as well albeit still a little inebriated. Looking at both of them I said briefly "Alright Jae and Crosswire, I've talked with both of you briefly about our goals here on Coruscant so you both know what's up. As it is we're scheduled to make a descent into Coruscant with help from our lovely pilot here in a couple minutes so I'd suggest anyone that plans on making the initial trip disembarking to grab a gear bag and a bag of clothes or personal effects. That's all I got for you guys, dismissed."

As the impromptu briefing ended I walked over to Jae and discreetly encircled my right arm around her waist. Leaning in I playfully said "Care to show me to the the cockpit Jae? I have a feeling I'll have a new appreciation for your flying abilities after this." I again began walking this time with her to the cockpit and before we entered I gave her butt a playful squeeze. Leaning in I said "More of that either during or after the party love." Letting the insinuation sit there I took my seat in the cockpit and waited.

Jae had prepped a bag of belongings during the time Andorreth had gone to speak with Crosswire so that was no issue for her, she'd grab that on the way off the Salvation right after Andorreth and herself had brought the ship into port.

As Jae stood to return to the cock-pit she felt an arm snake around her waist, knowing exactly who it was she smiled and looked over towards him. She laughed lightly, "Of course Captain." She said before making her way to the cockpit, him by her side, "Though if you don't already have an appreciation for my flying capabilities, we may have an issue." She commented playfully, getting a little cocky and full of herself, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, reaching the cockpit shortly afterwards. She felt his hand on her butt before he moved to sit in his seat in the cockpit she narrowed her eyes at him and smirked at his behaviour before taking her own seat in front of the landing controls.

She'd taken note of the coordinates Andorreth had locked in for their landing position. She turned controls back to manual and flew a little further, entering the atmosphere of Coruscant and making her way to the set coordinates. Flying over Coruscant she found it difficult to keep her eyes on the panels in front of her and found herself looking at her surroundings every now and then. Approaching the set of coordinates she noticed a shadowport outside. "That would be us." She said, mostly to herself. She lowered the thrusters, the ship moving at a slower pace now. She watched the tachometer as the indicator made its way down the dial, as she declined the power to the engines. "Can you hit the landing gear Andorreth?" She asked as she used the last bit of power to turn the ship around so that the ramp would drop to the ground giving them entrance into the shadowport rather than away from it. Taking the throttle out she cut all power to the engines and leaned back in her chair, "Done!"

Watching Jae's hands glide over the controls I did as asked and hit the landing gear just as Jae cut the engines and said done. Looking over at Jae I said "Nice landing Jae. Now shall we disembark and check out our safehouse lodgings?" With that I rose from my seat with a quick kiss on her lips I headed to my cabin to grab a bag of clothes and my gearbag. After having done so I rejoined Jae down by the cargo ramp and shouldering the bags I grabbed hers as well. As we reached the bottom of the cargo ramp a sleek, silver protocol droid approached Jae and myself. "Excuse me sir and ma'am, my Mistress Zara has left instructions for me to direct the Prince of Corellia and the Lady Jae to the secondary Master suite."

Looking at Jae I smiled then looking back to the droid I said "Lead on, our other associates will be along shortly would you be able to help them to their accommodations?" The droid simply nodded at me then led us up to the room Jae and I would be staying in. "Your accommodations sir and ma'am, I shall leave you to settle in and escort your compatriots to their lodgings." Turning to look at Jae I dropped our bags and let her take in where we were staying I wrapped my arms gently around her waist and leaned in against her saying "Not bad huh Jae? I mean we could've done a whole lot worse...." Then I gently kissed the side of her neck and simply held her there taking everything in...

She went along with the quick kiss before watching him leave the cockpit, following suit shortly afterwards. She made her way down to her quarters and jumped into her room, leaning over her bed and grabbing her personal bag of belongings. Making her way towards the cargo ramp she met back up with none other than Anodrreth before he took her own bag in his hands. "Thankyou." She smiled up at him as she slipped her hand around his waist whilst the duo walked down the ramp. She stopped upon seeing the protocol droid and listened as it spoke, giving an expression in response to her new 'title'. "..Lady Jae." She muttered to herself, "Hm, has a bit of ring to it." She joked to herself.

She looked back up to Andorreth and continued to walk with him, following the droid that would show them to their accommodations. She continued to make small talk with him until the droid stopped and explained that they'd reached their destination, "Woah!!" She exclaimed, looking at the startled droid afterwards, "..My bad, uh, thankyou." She apologised for her outburst. As the droid left she walked further into their room, looking around and staring out at the view. She felt his arms snake around her waist and didn't flinch in the slightest, too absorbed in her surroundings. She heard his comment on the room being a whole lot worse and couldn't help but laugh, turning around to face him and wrapping her arms around his neck. "Are you kidding me? This place is great!" She responded before kissing him gently on the lips and pulling away for a moment, "..Prince of Corellia." She smiled as she playfully called him by his title before kissing him once again. "So when do we meet this, Zara?"

Ughhh...I hated the title even though I knew it was more or less true. I just didn't want people changing their view of me based on a karking title. When Jae said it though it didn't bother me, then again it was Jae who said it. Hopefully if she'd seen me grimace at being called Prince of Corellia she wouldn't think it was her fault. Then Jae asked when we'd meet Zara, looking back at her I said "we'll see her tonight Jae. She's setting up gear for us at the party, plus from what Celiana says she....likes to make an entrance. As for now I suppose just wait until Crosswire and Jax get set up in their rooms, though I do think that once that's done you and I should grab dinner by ourselves."

Pausing for a few seconds I said, "Something about where we'll be getting dinner though m'lady Jae....it's right on the edge of the shaft. Basically the shaft is a place that small vessels can go to descend into the lower levels of Coruscant. When we go out just make sure you've got some kind of weapons on you, remember what Celiana taught you it'll be needed after dinner. We're gonna be making the jump down the shaft and it's something I used to do around there frequently. See, I used to....I used to steal from the upper city folks then security tagged me but would never dare making the jump I did. Times are tough down in the lower city, never being paid what your time was worth, having to go to the gambling dens in an attempt to make your expenses for living. We'll visit my old life Jae, you might not like all of what you see. Before we make the jump you should attach your armor to mine, we'll do the jump tandem odds are you'll get the same rush I did when I first made the jump."

Looking at Jae I saw my arms were still around her waist and once again pulled her into another gentle kiss. This time gently nibbling her lip before I pulled back away. Last thing I needed was Crosswire coming in and making things awkward. Pulling away from Jae albeit reluctantly I grabbed our bags and brought them into the secondary Master suite before pulling out a few pieces of gear and readied them for dinner and what came after.

She noticed Andorreth's expression in regards to her calling him by his title and laughed lightly at his reaction. She didn't see him any differently though. Perhaps if she'd known about his nobility before getting to know him for who he truly was things may have been different. She was thankful though to familiarise herself with him just as she would with anyone else. She did however enjoy playfully teasing him with the title. Listening to what Andorreth had to say about what the plans were involving Zara, Jae nodded her head understanding it'd be best they wait for Jax and Crosswire to settle in. Her head lifted upwards as she looked into his eyes at the end of his sentence. "Ooo like a date!" She cheered playfully, everything was getting to her, the excitement mostly, of everything the fancy room the party, all bubbling up inside.

She continued to pay attention as he began explaining to her his past life and where they'd be having their dinner. "Sounds great!!" She chirped, noticing his head shy away a little, from shame it appeared to be as he admitted to stealing from the upper levels. She arched her brows and smiled as she cupped his face in her hands and bent down a little, attempting to get her head around his to meet him eye to eye. "There's no need to be ashamed of or worried of what I might think Andorreth. I understand that things aren't easy in the lower city, and you have to do what's necessary. I'm not gonna leave just cause I might here a tiny detail I don't like." She assured him that she wasn't going anyway and offered a small smile.

She smiled and leant in for another kiss, feeling him gently nibble on her lip. She smiled in the kiss and brought her hand behind his neck before she felt him pull away, she had a look of confusion and disappointment on her face as he let go and walked towards his bags. She understood it may have not been the best time but that doesn't mean she was happy about it, she huffed and folded her arms walking to her own bag and preparing for the night ahead. Jae pulled out her blaster and staff Andorreth had given to her on one of the crews very first missions and laid it out across the bed.

Smiling I said "Anticipation Jae, I'm setting you up for a long, slow burn. One with an.....explosive finish." I let my innuendo sink in and checked over my armor. Sabers were locked against my upper thigh plates, modified pistols on either hip, Beskar razor whip secured in my left gauntlet, beskar hidden blade secured in my right. Looking back towards Jae said "So Jae, how do you feel about heights?" I had a lightweight, bodysuit shirt on under the top part of my armor and a sleek almost charcoal grey shirt on over the top of my armor. Grabbing a black hooded coat I tossed one to Jae.

Looking at her I said "Make sure you've got a decent amount of protection too Jae. Blasters, a collapsible riot baton, and a small variety of knives you can hide somewhere on your body. I'd hate to lose track of you again Jae...." I was of course referencing our awful experience at a re-fueling depot in the outer rim. Jae had been taken against her will and I had become....I'd become Vespera the evening star. I wanted her to be prepared to deal death out if needed, inwardly I hoped she wouldn't have to. As it was the area we'd be jumping down to in the shaft was relatively tame as far as lower levels of Coruscant went. Pulling on my own coat I ensured the thrusters on my boots were in working order and looking at Jae I playfully said "Sooooo....wanna take out one of Zara's speeder bikes out for a ride?"

I planned to show Jae how I'd learned to drive bikes tonight too. Odds were she'd.....not entirely approve. Then again she may just hop into the swoop with me. I'd made credits in probably two of the riskiest ways one could in the galaxy but especially on Coruscant. Swoop racing, and modified speeder races. The speeders were different in that they didn't use power cells like most speeders. The speeders I'd earned in used fuel and actual engines. The smell of fuel, the rumble of engines, the feel of your body being pushed against the seats from acceleration. Mmmmm....Odds were Jae would love the rush too...

I tapped out a message to Crosswire while I waited for Jae to finish getting ready. "Hey Crosswire, don't know if speeder and swoop bikes and racing for credits is your style or not but me and Jae are heading down to the lower levels for some food and entertainment in the form of racing for credits. Thought I'd mention it at least and give you the chance to experience the night life of the lower levels of Triple Zero in any case cheers mate there's some high class booze in the pad too."
