Feeding My Tea Addiction

And she did choose the same place. As Kay entered the cantina, her eyes immediately scanned the area. At the back, his note had said. In the shadows. So she proceeded further inside and looked for him, weaving her way through the other patrons. Some were sober, some were drunk, but none were who she was looking for.

And then finally she saw him. Kay squinted her eyes to be sure that he was Theseus. It was! Quietly she approached him and bowed her head. "I hope that I'm not too late." She came only with herself as she was curious as to what this was all about.

Theseus looked up to her and tilted his head. "Well, First off I don't recall given a time frame, I just requested for you to meet me here." he replied to her. "So my apologies to the vague directions." he added as he looked around. "Well if you're curious I'm here because I'm hungry, and chose this place so we might grab something to quickly snack on. From here we need to head to a place where listeners don't linger." he explained and shook his head a little. "I have some things to discuss with you, only because I believe you're trustable." he admitted as he stood and walked over towards the bar and picked a thing to eat as he returned to his table and waited for the meal to be prepared.

He studied her for a moment and nodded his head. Then pulled out his meditation stones and set them on the table. Though didn't bother moving them with the force. As he thought about what to talk about to pass his time. "Do you have a family?" he asked her curiously. He was mainly just curious. Though wouldn't take much offense if she elected to redirect the conversation. It was merely his attempt to find a direction to take the conversation until he could lead them to the point he could explain why he had called her away from the protection of her guards.

She smirked a little as he was thinking of his stomach, but only to herself after he had left. But she was glad that he had found her trustworthy. Most people did. Probably because she was honest and kind.

As he returned her eyes were drawn to the meditation stones for a moment, before she looked up to Theseus in response to his question about her family. She thought about what exactly to say. Of course the subject made her feel a bit sad. But as the number of friends and allies she had gathered in such a short time grew, Kay didn't feel as alone anymore. Or perhaps she was getting over her grief. "My husband died in battle a while back and our two adopted children fled out of fear and anger. I know that one had been spotted by a young Sith. As for the other, she could be hiding with the Jedi Order. I don't know. I consider some of my friends my family now. What about you?"

Theseus intently listened to her words and sighed a little. Well, now she'd placed an explanation for the pain she had deep within her. Though Theseus thought some things were best left a mystery. It made him wander who the man who killed her husband was. Whether he survived, or not and where this lady's children truly had disappeared to. Then Theseus was asked the question like wise and he wasn't entirely sure how to reply. "Well, if you're wandering if I've started a family of my own... then no. I have certain flaws which currently make it difficult for me to find a partner who I could settle down with." he replied to her honestly. Primarily those flaws were amongst the lines of his unforgiving temper that could arise unexpectedly, and his inability to currently trust anybody entirely. "As for if I have family aside from myself, I wouldn't know. Perhaps some cousins, or an aunt or uncle whom I've never met before. A half brother or half sister, or a brother and sister is another thing I couldn't rule out, as I haven't seen my parents in a decade or so." He admitted to her as he shrugged his shoulders and his meal arrived. Which he started to eat in a semi quick manner.

"Are you hungry?" he asked her curiously as he looked to her. Tilting his head a little bit. As he didn't want to eat alone, if she too was at the point she needed something to eat. Otherwise he could finish up what he had. Then move on to leading her somewhere, to discuss the matter which had originally inclined him to drag her away from her guards. Even if some of the men could likely be trusted with the information, Theseus wouldn't quite know.

As he mentioned about relatives that he may or may not have, Kay seized that moment to reflect on her own past. Did she have any brothers or sisters? Aunts? Uncles? What about her parents? Were they even alive? What did they look like? She just didn't remember as she was brought to the Academy when she was a small youngling. Perhaps that was why she didn't feel as though she was a good mother to their adopted children. It was because she couldn't remember what it was like to have parents.

Kay ordered herself a small stew. She needed something hearty and filling, yet simple enough to eat. "I've learned to eat whenever the opportunity arises, as you never know when you'll get a chance to eat again." Yes more often than not things seem to happen to get in the way of however she thinks that the day might go. It was nothing to complain about, but it can get bothersome at times.

Theseus nodded his head in agreement to her statement. You never knew what the galaxy would throw next at you. It could in fact have a entire republic fleet suddenly arrive to take you into custody. Which was something Theseus was hoping never happened. Though you couldn't be sure. Theseus took his time to ponder all the possibilities, and finally decided it was impossible to physically cover all the potential outcomes, as their would always be a way for something to occur that one was not prepared for. It was odd that life should be so unpredictable though that was the only truth that was certain.

"How's your stew?" he asked her curiously as he finished with his meal and sat back. Humming softly as he picked up his meditation stones with the force and spun them in circles. Though it was a calm and gentle rotation which had no malicious intent. As he seemed to further relax, and honestly he'd be content taking a nap at this point. Though he knew that he had things to discuss with this lady before her guards became too concerned and started hunting her down, to ensure her safety. Theseus didn't need the hassle of explaining what he'd needed to discuss with her, to her guards so they weren't tempted to gun him down or arrest him.

She was halfway through her stew by the time Theseus was finished his meal, as she too ate a bit quickly. Though she wasn't gulping it down. "It's nice and hearty, thank you."

The meditation stones distracted her for a bit from eating, but only for a moment. Kay glanced around to see who might be watching as such displays often attracted attention. But so far it seemed that others didn't really care. Or maybe they just didn't notice.

She finished off her stew and then put the bowl to the side of their table. "Now...what was it that you wanted to discuss?"

"Cartels generally don't mention must, most know me, either through a direct manner, or through rumors from cartel members of Nar Shaddaa." He explained to Kay quietly. "However I can also disappear when I want to." he admitted as he looked around and sighed a little. Wandering if he should demonstrate a recently developed manner of disappearing. It was cruel and Theseus sometimes scolded himself for doing it. Though in the moment he was executing the technique it was like a drug, like nothing could oppose him. Of course that was just the dark side influencing his thinking though... heck there were worst influences.

Theseus looked to Lady Kay and smiled warmly after a bit. As he wouldn't demonstrate it. Although it would be wise to inform her sometime that he was a dark sider. He decided he'd tackle that in a diplomatic manner, while discussing the important topic he'd drawn her here for. As he looked around and hummed softly. The temptation was there though Theseus was far from weak willed.

She nodded, though she still wasn't quite sure what it was that he wanted to discuss. He could disappear when he had wanted to. In a way, she did the same thing.

"I disappeared for a few years. I just kept to myself and was always on the move. And that was a good thing as it seems almost everyone that I knew before, including my old enemies, have disappeared too. Or maybe they have been killed? It's hard to say as it is a big galaxy out there."

She glanced around the bar a bit. "Did you want us to talk in a back room or something? Or is this secure enough of a location?"
