Private Field Trip

Lianna Rose

If there was one thing that Lianna wasn't too fond of, it was leaving Coruscant. She preferred the comfort of her lab or her apartment. Yet now at the behest of an anonymous donor, she found herself on a refurbished transport vessel that also housed a variety of her equipment. She wasn't so sure of how this meeting with Kyrinov Kyrinov and Cade Orion Cade Orion would turn out, yet she had to be optimistic. If she couldn't take him to her lab, well she was certain to bring her lab to him.

The transport's pilot and crew took care of their credentials and ship's ID as they exited hyperspace and were given the co-ordinates to Eve to meet with their escort that was supposed to lead them to The Tower.

Lianna sat in her chair, looking through the transparisteel window with her chin in her hands. Although her expression may appear as though she was bored, internally she was trying to quell her anxiety by going over the different equations involved in the neuropathways leading from the fingertips to the brain and the different ways to circumvent them so that touching a fingertip would tickle one's nose.

She was a little weird that way.

Nighthaunter had been told about the bounty that had been put on their newest recruit's head by Kyrinov. Kyrinov had then rightly notified the bounty hunters guild and the person that had posted the bounty that the Cade was under the Silencers protection. the biologist that had placed the bounty whoever she was should consider this a courtesy and just be glad that the Chaplain of the Silencers hadn't decided to send her a more explicit method. It wouldn't have been the first time that a Silencer had been sent to someone to get a message across to an individual that had threatened someone on the Scintilla. While waiting at the docking bay for the biologists ship as her escort, the Nighthaunter thought back to the kills he had made and those that had the unlucky fate to be left alive by him. The Silencers were quickly beginning to form a reputation around the galaxy as being one of the most sadistic organisations, myth, and rumours about the practices of the organisation were everywhere in the Scintilla and the wider galaxy. The Nighthaunter stood there with his hood up and mask on with one hand on Willbreaker.

He could feel the eyes of the workers that worked on maintaining the ships on him at all times. Some of them whispering to one another when they thought he wasn't looking their way. He turned his head looking over his shoulder looking directly at the workers, and could see a look of both intrigue and fear on their faces. His studing of the workers was interrupted by a large ship touching down in the docking bay. The wind generated by the ships engines, made the cape of his MK I Nightsuit billow behind his legs. He hoped this meeting went well as the Silencers were not willing to give up one of their own. His back straightened as he saw the ships front door open...

Lianna sat herself up once she was notified that they were near their designated landing pad, drawing herself from her thoughts. Finally she'd be able to touch the ground again. Or rather, the fake ground. Scintilla was quite unique, consisting of what could better be described as a bunch of bubbles interconnected by tubes that increased in number as the population grew. She had to admire the construction, for the whole thing looked like a cluster of atoms and particles in a really large scale.

She got to her feet, taking hold of her bag and headed towards the door as it opened. Lianna hesitated upon seeing Nighthaunter Nighthaunter , dressed in the manner that he was. The mask and cloak was a far cry from her own casual business attire. It was as though they came from two different eras.

Still, Lianna approached him as though he was a fellow scientist at her lab, putting on a brave front. "I take it that you're my escort? If I'm wrong then please let me know and I'll just wait. Oh! I'm Lianna Rose, by the way. Neurobiologist." She held out her hand for him to shake, though she had a feeling he'd be the type to ignore such a gesture.
