"So their arrogance and thirst for power led them to believe they could contain a force much more powerful than themselves which led to their imminent demise?" The eldorai proposed amusedly.

"And they wonder why the Jedi preach about how the dark side leads to self-destruction." Faratain concluded jokingly.

"It still begs the question as to whether or not the souls became imbued with this place, surely you've felt it. This place is strong with the force, it emanates from everywhere, and it has more to do with the crystal. Why do you think that is master Jedi' ?"

Matsu was looking at the ones wonder off and not to bother them as she looked at the valley itself and moved quickly to the waters. She had seen some of it and used the waters but there were more purposes one could have with them as the force energies radiated off of it and she stood still. The talks of the thought bomb well left a lot as she had worked with some of the jedi to try and figure out what had happened and record it but there had been to few helping them. So she could organize and focus some thoughts into it while producing small trinkets she could work on while channeling the force from the waters into it and focusing.

And so it was that as part his stay with Coci that Ronin slowly began to piece together bit or pieces of the life he once had. Though most of it he had to learn from old vid recordings or reading some the data pads about it. At which time it seem the thought that struck him the most was the fact. He learns that she ....Master I'ella had pass on and the detail at best was lost for him.

That however much he read and reread or watch all the information that he could surrounding her death. For a personal reason Ronin figure seek someone who he learn might know of it best. Thought painful as it might be for him go asking him.....but then again in back his mind he couldn't shake the nagging feeling. The part of not knowing or guilt that came with it as such seem in the hopes it could help in his recovery of his memory. He came know from other that he had find this Syn.... but how that he had find out on his own. So asking his leave of Coci for now. He heads off with a party of padawan's who for one reason or another had head off to go on some field trip....

The Bith mused over the matter, not satisfied with conventional answers. There must've been some other reason. Perhaps it had to do with Darth Bane, whose rule as Dark Lord came sometime after the destruction of the Brotherhood of Darkness. Dates were very imprecise, really only guesswork because the Sith hadn't been forthcoming about it.

It would fit with their tradition of student killing Master. It was a wonder they could survive under such a regime. They were as much their own enemy as any Jedi. With everyone vying for your head, he could well understand their anger. But then, why live that way to begin with?

"Master Ike," Dune said after some time "Would it be possible to train our telepathic barriers?"

"Thinking of the Sith makes me recall that they often use mental torture techniques to harm us...or worse."

The Bith did not just mean kill.

As he walked into the academy he had to find it all quite new as he walked the halls of the abandoned jedi academy. The history it might hold was of the most interest to him as he walked through the broken halls. He stopped as he came to see what looked like a work shop. "Whats this?" He said aloud, he hadn't noticed his new habit of talking to himself.

The young Anzat had looked over at [member="Matsu Ike"] at the mention of 'Master Jedi.'

When she stayed quiet, the young knight looked back over to [member="Faratain"] as he spoke again. "What you're feeling is a phenomenon known as a Force nexus," the boy remarked, gesturing toward the ruins that housed the giant Adegan crystal, which was at the heart of the disturbance in the Force.

How to describe that? "The battles that took place here were between Jedi and Sith who were basically gods," Truly, masters of the Force in any permutation were frightening creatures with abilities beyond comprehension. Particularly when directed at destructive energies or outcomes. "Their demise weakened the divisions between our physical existence and the Force."

The Force nexus could magnify someone's abilities in the Force. But it could also cause their abilities to work in unexpected ways, particularly when they spiraled out of control for the sheer magnitude or power. "As a result, anyone sensitive to the Force may find this place chaotic."

When he had filed his report with the Obsidian Order, the boy wondered if the Archon might not have some thoughts about the nexus. Or, for that matter, the Executive Council. Ruusan still had some useful ore and resources, which had not been tapped into for some time. This planet might be quite useful to the Techno Union...

 

[Amara No'orabi]

Amara had been reluctant to meditate with the others in the room. For some reason, she was on edge. This planet was powerful, but that power wasn't necessarily comforting and she wanted to scratch at her skin until the buzzing stopped. So she just stood there watching them as they settled within their minds. The time came and went as Faratain started gasping, a vision no doubt, and then settled, and then left. Dune followed shortly after, and Amara just kept standing there. She couldn't explain it. It was very unsettling.

After a long time, she sat and tried to clear her mind, focusing only on the crystal in order to start meditating. She called all of her meditation lessons with Master Ike to the front of her mind and eventually her breathing smoothed out and her mind calmed. The Force went from a whisper to a roar in her ears and she was almost jolted from the meditation, but eventually that too smoothed out. Although she had no vision like Faratain, she knew in her gut that the Force was trying to tell her something.

Be careful. Avoid the shadows.

Amara's eyes snapped open and she rose, nearly running to [member="Matsu Ike"].

"What does it mean, avoid the shadows?" she gasped, blushing when she realized she was probably interrupting something.

Matsu was listening to them as she worked in the waters feeling the force nexus but more then that while she produced the glove with its sleek gold metal band. Turning it over to see the force crystal for absorbing well this was its purpose and more while setting it down into the waters and hearing her padawan. "The shadows can be dangerous on worlds like this. You never know what might be lurking in them waiting to grab padawans who come around unawares." She said it with a small smile on her face though pulling at the force energies to enrich and make the band of metal and crystal glow from the power. "But that is why we make equipment like the tora to channel the force nexus as well as detect dangerous concentrations of the force."

It was then no sooner had they exited the ship that for some reason his mind began to wander. Caught in midst of thought and emotion of long passed that seem for one reason or another. Apparently being stir within him by someone or something in planet that he didn't see take note of. That slowly but surely he began seem fall behind the group thought not nearly as far from hearing distance nor of sight. His gaze no less began to wander as such that he seem unaware of the lurking shadows right behind him.

As they slowly but surely edge close to him that he seem feel somewhat strange. Somewhat unhinged as mind slowly drifted off seem chaotic at best. That he had stop unaware of one the shadows come close enough to brush against his leg. That he somehow slowly felt seem unattached to those around him....as his seem unaware while his breathing began to slow. That somehow being in this place of chaos and unstable forces..... that the Kashi side of him seem to take an seem unstable reaction to it all.

For being that so little was know of them at best due to the fact. They kept no records as their culture found or believe so fiercely in the fact. Written words was if anything blasphemy as was any deal of any kind with the outside world. Thought being so connected deeply to the very essence of the force made them quite susceptible to its whim at best. Something which being as untrained and disconnected as Ronin was due to state he was in at that time. He did not know or perhaps no one seem know either as for one reason or another. He seem froze in place stare out into the distance.....

Matsu looked at the padawan with her while she was working on the force energies within the valley waters. Slowly pushing and pulling at it to begin building up and working on things. She could continue to infuse the glove with force energies while she was working to make it function with the gemstone like a capacitor. It would collect the energies from the force and everything around it like a sponge and channel it into the gemstone. Slowly Matsu was opening the glove to the force so it was hungry and wanting to absorb more and more. She was pushing the force into it and thinking about the gear she had worked with to construct and build before using that knowledge while calling more from the heart of the universe inside her robes.

It was then as he stood there that in his mind eye Ronin couldn't help but feel.Strangely odd and somewhat cold as he blankly gazed at the distant. At what seem be nothing less than a blur....a dark formless shadow that soon began to seem take shape..form...of a dark robe being. Thought seem standing there with something glowing red in one hand that all sent sense of fear in him . Before eventually it all dissipated just as the figure was about turn towards his direction.

And he somehow shake the haze from his eyes saw he was back. Back there standing amidst the others near the back of the room. That although the image was gone the fear and chills seem had not fully.....cling somewhat to him for a time.And slowly like mist began to be relegated back out of mind or sight.....

Matsu continued to focus and open the glove to the will of the force and energy of it all as she was creating as much force energy as she could. Channeling it into the bands to strengthen them and harden them from lightning and sabers. It wouldn't be protective to just everything everywhere but striking them would mean little while she could think of other things to work into the metal like weaves from the Sasori loom that they had been working on things. She had interest in a few more things before she lifted it out of the water with her hand touching the cooled bands with her fingers while she was pushing force energy into it to increase the potency of the force absorption abilities.
