"Doctor, we are ready to begin." Both of the AZI droid's called out to Tesla, bringing him back from the recesses of his mind. Adjusting his glasses once more he made his way over to Teresa. With both her hands open to the surgery the Doctor gestured for the droid's to hover above while he slipped on his gloves once more. "Well, let's get started." He said.

One of the AZI droid's carried a large syringe, in place of a needle it had a long metallic tube, slightly thinner than an IV. "134, I need you to pull up a biovisual so I can see what I'm doing."

"Yes Doctor." The Droid responded. His scanners scanned over Teresa's hands before pulling up a holovisual of the inside of her hand. With the pathways made to the bone Tesla inserted the IV, watching on the holofeed as it navigated the minuscule tunnels. "Here we go." He muttered, staring at the sight of bone. Much of the bone was shaved down by the AZI droid's to create room for the metallic compound. Victor tapped a button on the side of the metallic tube, sending a slow ooze of the compound into Teresa's hand, coating her bone. He quickly pulled out and watched as the metal settled against the bone marrow. "Good, sterilize." He ordered, again the cool bacta compound was misted into the surgery area.

Again and again Victor repeated this process, for what took nearly three hours until both hands had been carefully injected with the Laminamium. To prevent her knuckles from sealing together they were propped up and the metallic compound was kept from secreting into those crevices.

Tesla watched as each of the AZI droids began to close up her hands, applying the necessary stitches and bacta ointments. He yawned audibly, running a hand over his eyes as he felt the draw of sleep.

"134....Is the prototype compound ready?" The Droid looked up from the suturing it was doing, still proceeding with the mending process without a visual. "Yes, Doctor. Though it will take nearly three days for the medication to take. Though in this subject's weakened state it may take longer." The Droid explained.

"Ok...prep the compound and keep her under rotating sedation. I am going to sleep, when I wake up we'll begin the next procedure." The Doctor glanced at his black book, the page he stared at had an odd creature with a set of wings attached to it's back. He stared back at Teresa before standing and making his way to his quarters. As he passed the Nightsister he glanced down at her vitals read on the machine. "Four more hours." He estimated, not sure if she would even last that long.

Teresa laid there silent as the pain was almost gone. Either the nerves in her hands had finally giving out or she had getting used to it. In her mind she began to count along with the sound of a dripping sound somewhere in the room as the girls eyes stared blankly at the ceiling. It kept her distracted from what was happening in the room and something to focus on.

She caught him say one thing that brought a small breath of relief. The man had grown weary. Although she could say for sure he probably had more energy that she did right now. She'd not eaten since before landing in this wretched world and even lacked proper sleep. Even if right noe she couldn't allow her self to drop off. The droid kept close by through the night injecting her every few hours. Each time she'd grow more tired and became more challenging to fight sleep.

Dark black bags formed under her eyes that looked similar to that of a chiss due to the heavy bloodshot. It hurt to blink thus she tried to hold off long as possible between every time her eyes shut as she continued to count. Teresa had no conception of time as she laid against the metal that made her sore. Although it had reached early hours of the morning before she fell asleep.

Her mind began to draw on the earliest memory she had from when she was four. The collar felt tight around her neck almost like someone had firmly placed their hands around it. She can remember been inside a large circular room with a rag. Her size was ideal for reaching areas the others couldn't like behind the towering shelfs anchored in place. Behind one the the many was a small journal. At the time teresa couldn't read but the pictures helped. The pictures was a guid of how to use an old style sword.

To save the journal been discovered she had always left it in that place memorizing every detail. The other slaves would have taught her to read by the time it was difficult to move between them at that point she removed it. Even with the massive amounts of orders they received daily each slave was permitted an hours exercise daily. It was to ensure each of them could serve a longer life. During that time she trained when eyes slacked.

Tesla awoke sometime around midday that next day. His hands were slightly sore from the time he spent operating on Teresa, of course it was nothing compared to what she was feeling. The man yawned softly, pinching at the bridge of his nose before running a hand through his matted hair.

The Doctor started his morning the way he always did, first by visiting the refresher and seeing to his morning routine. Washing the residue of Dathomir and his work off before seeing to all other manner of personal hygiene. Following that he generally took five to ten minutes to smoke, allowing him to gain some fresh air as well as supply his body with the nicotine needed to not go more insane than he already was.

It took him nearly two hours to make it back to his lab, a fresh cup of caf held firmly in his hands. He looked around the dark lab and immediately flipped a switch, bringing life to the place of his work. His ears were caught by the sound of a low beeping, coming from the machine connected to his captured nightsister. As he suspected, she had passed in the night. He approached her, placing a hand on her cheek, finding her skin to be like ice to the touch. "134. Are you online?" He called out to his favored medical droid.

Three of the AZI droid's were currently hovering about, though it was nearly time for them to shut down for charging. AZI 134, whom must have paused in the middle of the night for a charge, flew over to the Doctor.

"I am Doctor, how may I be of assistance?" He asked, an automated sense of enthusiasm dripping from him.

Victor gestured to the nightsister with his mug. "Complete a full autopsy, preserve the remaining organs if they can be of use, discard what's left." He ordered. Immediately the droid saw to the process of disconnecting the woman from the machines meant to preserve her life. Victor took a sip of his caf, turning from the Nightsister before making his way over to Teresa. Through the night his medical droids wrapped her hands in a bacta bandage to aid with the healing process.

"How are you doing? Most likely enjoying some sleep, I'm sure. Well I'm happy to say it seems your first surgery was a success....yet we have more work to do today." He explained.

"Lucky for you this time you will be fully sedated and asleep. When you wake up, you will be something more." He said, with a smile. "AZI 064, come here please." He called to another of the Droid's.

"Yes Doctor?" This droid's tone was oddly negative, given the positivism of his counter-parts. "064, her next rotation of sedative give her something for a level three surgery. She's going to need to stay asleep for this to work." He explains.

The noise of movement somewhere in the building abruptly woke Teresa up. Her eyes snapped open to see this room was still dark. Immediately she began to count again in her head starting over again. The girls hands where more sore now rather than in the pain they was in. She laid there for a while in darkness with only the lights of droids and devices imiting light even though she counted the though crossed her mind of how long it would be till the creep came back. What torture would he make her endure today?

Heysi, the woman next to her was close to death. Only a faint flicker of life remained in her. She had probably slipped into a coma during the night as her body slowly shut down. It was probably for the best. Even burning to death was faster than what she went through. The lights flicked on blinding Teresa making her quickly shut her eyes and move her head to the side.

It was bright and took a moment to adjust. It was at that moment the woman passed too. He'd talk to the droids as he moved about but teresa tried hard to ignore him up till the point he asked a question. "Just hurry up and get this over with." She said softly. In a way it sounded quite submissive too but it wasn't her intention. The girl knew the sooner he'd had his fun with her then she'd be dead or something.

Victor could hear Teresa's weak voice, causing him to turn back to her with an arched brow. "You should rest, it's going to be about eight hours of surgery." He said, gesturing to his cup of caf. "Why I'm drinking this."

The AZI droid flew over to Teresa, preparing to give her the scheduled injection. Before it could Victor placed a hand on it's side, sitting down next to the woman. "Wait." He ordered the droid, causing it to retract the syringe back into it's body. "You may think I'm doing this to hurt you, or maybe for my own sick satisfaction....But I'm really trying to help you. This galaxy is a dangerous place and the next time you get captured the person may do worse than this....or he may just kill you. I'm going to make it so there isn't a next time. If you had killed me when I found you I'd have been proven wrong....but you laying here on my table is proof to my beliefs." He gestured for the droid to go forward with the injection. As the syringe was slipping into a vein in the woman's arm Tesla sipped his caf before speaking. "There is always room for evolution."

After the droid had sedated Teresa Victor gestured to a nearby operating table. "Ok, let's get this on the road. I don't want any mistakes!" He called out to his droids. "All units online!" He stated, placing his caf on a nearby shelf. As commanded the rest of the AZI droid's came online, floating into the room making six total droids. "Move her to the table and prep for surgery. Clean her down, bind her arms, and sterilize the environment." Four of the Droid's hovered over to Teresa, each one grabbing one of her limbs allowing them to ferry her over to the operation table.

After gently setting her down there was a series of lights placed over her before her entire body was sprayed down with a type of Bacta or Kolto solution. After she had been properly sprayed down the Droid's draped a large cloth on her back, the white sheet had a large square cut into the back, making her back accessible to the Doctor. As they worked Victor gathered a small tray, placing several tools onto it. A mini-saw, a series of clamps, a hammer, and more was loaded onto the metallic tray.

As everything was brought together Victor exhaled softly, pulling his glasses off before looking at the Droid's above him. "Is the patient prepped?"

"Yes, Doctor." They called out in unison.

Slipping a pair of white gloves onto his hands the man nodded before staring down at the woman's exposed back. "Let's crack some eggs." He said, producing the small saw.

The surgery on Teresa was perhaps one of the most difficult Tesla had ever done in his lifetime. The first part of the operation was the easiest by far. To carve an opening into her back, from her trapezoid's to her obliques Teresa was opened to Tesla's experimentation. It took was felt like hours just to get that far, however once the Doctor was inside his tasks only grew. Attempting not to give her long term damage to her muscles he worked precisely, often needing to use his droids because he did not have faith in the error his own hands could cause.

Once her back was prepped for the surgery Tesla severed the spine, using bacta coatings so that it could be reattached once he had finished. The Doctor worked fast, knowing that keeping a spine severed for too long could lead to a person losing their ability to walk.

Where her spine had once met in the arch of her dorsi the doctor introduced synthetic bone, forcing the spine to give birth as if making room for an entirely new bone structure. The synthetic bone was take well and the Doctor was able to reattach the spine with no incident.

Hours having passed Tesla was presented with two items by his droids. The first item was a large syringe, that held a special healing compound for Teresa, it was easily the most important part of the surgery.

However, before he could give her the medicinal compound he had to finish the surgery in her back. The second item presented to Tesla was a small, round material. At first glance it appeared to be a type of egg composed of muscle, nerves, and vessels. Tesla eyed the egg closely before introducing it into Teresa's back, in the same place where he had created a new host of bone.

After surgically attaching the small egg to the woman he took the syringe, injecting the egg with a quarter of the compound.

"Close her up, Immediately." Tesla ordered, standing from his place beside her. The Droid's did as ordered, closing the woman's open back, seeing to it's stitching and bandaging. It was almost an hour later when Tesla returned with the syringe once again, this time he inserted the syringe into her spinal cavity, injecting her with the rest of the serum. With the operation completed a small smile came to the Doctor's face as he adjusted his glasses. "I'll monitor you for a few days....and then you will be free." He said.

Teresa had slept for ten hours before waking up on her stomach. There was a tremendous pain across the top of her back that caused her to clentch her teeth hard and breath in. As she did the air would make a hissing noise as it rushed past the gaps in her teeth. "What have you done to me?" She said with an angered but frail tone. The girl felt considerably weaker like something who had lost a considerable amount of blood in a short time. Not only that but there was a strange feeling in to top of her back other than the pain.

Teresa wasn't one for reregrets and beloved everything happens for a reason, but taking this job was a mistake. If she had refused it she may have not ended up here. Her anger fueled a kind of rage she'd never experienced as she assured herself that if she made it out of this alive. This man will die a slower and more agonizing death than her target did. Some day she will cherish this mans death and claim her mantle as a Sith lord.

But would such power ever be enough to quench her first for absolute dominance? Can there be such thing as to much power? Teresa was eager to push the boundaries and show all sits below her the rule of the revanchist take claims. The rule of two will once again be known as the only rule for the Sith, alas these things was just imagination. Just something to enjoy thinking about as her body throbbed in pain.

It took a few hours after the operation was completed for Teresa to come back to consciousness. Tesla had sat down not far from her, recording all the information he could about the surgery that she had just undergone. A hushed voice had called out, asking a question Tesla did not feel obligated to answer.

He closed his journal, setting it on his thigh as he pulled his glasses off. "I improved you." He said simply. Pushing his chair over to Teresa's side he cleared his throat before going into greater detail. "You're a new species, you see. The first of your kind. Well, you're actually a prototype of a species." He continued.

"Over the next couple of months you'll feel some discomfort." The Doctor opened his book to show a sketched design. The drawing was of a human whose bone structure had been altered to fit a set of wings, as well as having metallic claw-like fingernails coated over the bones in the hand. In essence he was showing her what she was to become. "You see I coated the bones in your hand with a special metal that will heal in place of the bone, making your hands that much stronger. Your nails will also regrow into that metal, making them very strong." He said, pride dripping from his voice.

"Along with that you were given several injections that will make you faster and stronger, however it will take time to get used to it."

"The biggest improvement are the wings, however. Sadly I don't have a way to attach them fully grown. Instead i inserted a seed into your back that will grow into your altered bone structure, allowing you to grow a set of wings. It will also produce a small organ that stores a type of low density gas that will make you a bit lighter." The Doctor explained.

After closing his book he placed four bottles of pills on the table beside the woman. "Now. You are susceptible to metallic poisoning, you'll need to take these over the next month as your body becomes accustom to the changes. If you don't take them you will die." He said, plainly.

"When I free you I recommend you get a few days rest. You'll need it. Oh and try to stay away from fried foods for a bit, your blood pressure is a bit high." The Doctor said, turning back to his own desk.

She listened to the man each word he spoke built more rage deep inside her. If there was a boiling point she'd far surpassed it. "Improvements, more like made me into a freak tainting my body with impurities." She said in anger as a scowled expression crumpled up the bridge of her nose and brow. He'd continue to show her the sketches and notes of his research. Painting a clear picture of what she will become.

While in someway she could see these impurities useful on low life vermin, but this man made the biggest mistake doing it to her. Teresa was no test subject she is from a line of well known force sensitives who was from both sides of the fray. What he'd done wasn't the work of a sith but rather a mad man with no hope of a future. This was not power, it was a way of demeaning somebody.

There was an unnatural tingling that ran across her body that would have been caused from the separation of the spine. Chances are she'd suffered some nerve damage probably. It could also be down to the fact her bone structure was adjusting to the new segments. At this rate metal poisoning was the least of her problems. At this rate she'd die of malnutrition and dehydration. Never mind the fact that if he had taken any further steps she'd probably not survive the blood loss. Right now even if she was free the girl was in no position to fight even a teenager going through menopause.

"Right now I'd eat anything if it meant one less pain to deal with. Although knowing what I know of you so far it would somehow involve cutting me open again." She said mocking him but in a way stating shat she wanted. Chances where what food he had to offer would either taste bland or likely to poison her too.

The Doctor was an unappreciated field of endeavor. Victor smiled softly at Teresa's words before shrugging. "In time you'll see things my way." He explained before leaning back in his chair, reading over a few more passages before jotting down notes. "You're the first person to successfully survive the operation, you know? Originally i tried starting with non force users, but non force user humans were just too frail."

The mocking tone Teresa took when asking for something to eat caused Victor to snort softly before he glanced at his watch. "I try to make sure you don't eat for about another hour or so. We have to give you a transfusion within thirty minutes anyway though."

He glanced around before arching a brow, the man had lost track of which AZI droids were online. "Identity." He said to the nearest droid. An almost feminine tone responded to his question. "AZI 126, Doctor. How may I be of service?"

Tesla glanced over to Teresa before writing down a set of medicines and sedatives. "Let's start giving her two IV's, one with a blood transfusion and one with vitamins and fluids. I don't want her dehydrating." He shooed the droid off before returning his attention to Teresa.

"After we get your blood and a bit of water in you I'll let you eat something. Maybe even change your sedative to something that will help you sleep, ok?" His tone was oddly matching of a Doctor with a standard patient. "For now bear with it, it shouldn't take long, maybe another ten minutes or so."

There wasn't much for her to do in this moment other than feed off her own hatred. At least she had that to give her strength right now. "In time creep I'll see your corps burnt to a crisp." She said as her way of denying the mans comment. "Besides it's not that I'm a force user that gives me my strength. Willpower and the need to strengthen my self is why I'm still alive. I refuse to die like this. I refuse to die by your hands. I refuse to accept this is my time." She said knowing all to well all he had to do was stab a sharp object I to the back of her skull ending it all. Teresa began to think if he thought about what she'd do after, if he knew he'd be hunted for the rest of his days.

She had contacts that could trace information. Contacts she could rely on for a good scorce. People who reveled in making others life's a living hell by feeding others vital info. With her memory that never forgets she'd have a good amount of description to get them started of tracking this man if he tried to become a ghost after this. This creep would never escape. She closed her eyes and relaxed as much as she could drawing into a meditated state as her mind quietly kept counting to keep her sane.

At the remark that Tesla's corpse would burn for his actions he merely smiled softly at the woman. "I recommend you get in line, it's rather long." He said, watching as the AZI droid's began to hook her up to an IV.

Teresa's words, while not wrong, held no merit to the Doctor. He didn't much care about willpower or the strength of an individual person. All he cared about was progress, and now Teresa was on such a road. As he looked to the woman's bare arm he smiled softly to himself. "AZI." He called out to one of the droid's. Immediately the droid's head swiveled around to face the Doctor. "Mark her arm, I want everyone to know what she is....beauty." He said before drawing an odd symbol in front of the droid and finally holding it out to it. "This." He ordered.

Tesla turned away from the woman before smiling. "In a while you'll wake up, and I'll be away from this planet. And you'll search for me. But you won't find me. Because what I am and what I do....it is far more than you can ever comprehend" He explained.

The Doctor made his way out of the lab before Teresa would ultimately be placed under sedative again. As she slept the Doctor would clear his lab, take his droids, and abandon this facility. With his research with him there would be little trace of the Doctor. When finally Teresa awoke she would find herself in the empty lab with a moderate amount of food, water, and medicine left for her. Her life, finally hers once again.
