I am a son of the Mountain.
"Doctor, we are ready to begin." Both of the AZI droid's called out to Tesla, bringing him back from the recesses of his mind. Adjusting his glasses once more he made his way over to Teresa. With both her hands open to the surgery the Doctor gestured for the droid's to hover above while he slipped on his gloves once more. "Well, let's get started." He said.
One of the AZI droid's carried a large syringe, in place of a needle it had a long metallic tube, slightly thinner than an IV. "134, I need you to pull up a biovisual so I can see what I'm doing."
"Yes Doctor." The Droid responded. His scanners scanned over Teresa's hands before pulling up a holovisual of the inside of her hand. With the pathways made to the bone Tesla inserted the IV, watching on the holofeed as it navigated the minuscule tunnels. "Here we go." He muttered, staring at the sight of bone. Much of the bone was shaved down by the AZI droid's to create room for the metallic compound. Victor tapped a button on the side of the metallic tube, sending a slow ooze of the compound into Teresa's hand, coating her bone. He quickly pulled out and watched as the metal settled against the bone marrow. "Good, sterilize." He ordered, again the cool bacta compound was misted into the surgery area.
Again and again Victor repeated this process, for what took nearly three hours until both hands had been carefully injected with the Laminamium. To prevent her knuckles from sealing together they were propped up and the metallic compound was kept from secreting into those crevices.
Tesla watched as each of the AZI droids began to close up her hands, applying the necessary stitches and bacta ointments. He yawned audibly, running a hand over his eyes as he felt the draw of sleep.
"134....Is the prototype compound ready?" The Droid looked up from the suturing it was doing, still proceeding with the mending process without a visual. "Yes, Doctor. Though it will take nearly three days for the medication to take. Though in this subject's weakened state it may take longer." The Droid explained.
"Ok...prep the compound and keep her under rotating sedation. I am going to sleep, when I wake up we'll begin the next procedure." The Doctor glanced at his black book, the page he stared at had an odd creature with a set of wings attached to it's back. He stared back at Teresa before standing and making his way to his quarters. As he passed the Nightsister he glanced down at her vitals read on the machine. "Four more hours." He estimated, not sure if she would even last that long.
