Finding the Jedi Master

Tydus stopped for a second glancing over his shoulder to [member="Ronen Jerik"], the boy almost called him master, this may become a problem. Tydus however felt too close to the boy now, and decided to overlook it. He walked inside and the place was made of stone and metal. It rather interesting to see. The design of the archway and interior were fantastic, nothing he had seen before. The vibration of this area was filled with light side energy, happiness and joy were present in this area for hundred of years, making this place a small nexus of light side energy. Tydus had disturbed it by using the Dark Side, and had awoken the nexus into filling the void.

He walked over to the area to discover that there were living quarters that had bedding and q cafeteria capable of cooking and eating. A quint little living area. Tydus did stumble apon a single room that was at the end of a hall that had been caved in, he suspected that was the head masters room. Destroyed for reason beyond his comprehension. He meet back up with Ronen, "Looks like the area is good, we will be able to live here for a while after I fix the place up, it will be good training for you as well."

Even though Ronen couldn't see past the blue glow of the area around him, he felt safe in not only Tydus's presence, but also the light energy emitting from the sleeping areas. He found a bed, old and musky, but a bed. He sat and though something, which he knew would be the start of his redemption.

"This, starts my journey..."

Six Months Later
It had been a long set of months since Tydus and [member="Ronen Jerik"] found this small slice of heaven. The archives were mostly barren, nothing much left but old text about their history, some techniques, and other semi-useful stuff. Tydus had cleaned a majority of the place to make it capable of training, sleeping, and meditation. Tydus himself had mastered a majority of the basic skills used by an apprentice, such as Force Lift, Force Sence, Breath Control, and Alchaka. He was able to touch some of the Dark Sider Skills while Ronen was asleep or doing other such things. It was temptation that was a constant obstacle, having such power was corrupting, and he was not yet able to keep such urged away. He could only stave off the temptation, after the corruption had already taken over part of his soul. He would always carry that black stain with him, and that is why he chose this path, not to change, but force change around him.

As for Ronen, Tydus did his best to train the boy, he was a quick learner, took him a fourth the time it took Tydus to learn all he did. He wasn't able to train Ronen to master these skill, only a master of the arts could. Tydus would bring the few books there were from the Archives and read them to Ronen, then take him to the training room to practice. It was great review for Tydus, repartition help Tydus master these moves, and skills. Ronen would sometime be found meditating when he went to retieve the boy for practice. Tydus wouldn't say a thing, and the boy would still know he was there. His skills with Force Sight were becoming much better then he originally had, maybe he wouldn't be scared anymore, since Tydus would be leaving soon.

Tydus walked through the hallways of the top level, the barracks of the enclave. He had a vision the other day, he was to travel to a snowy planet to start the next level of his training. After completely finishing the Alchaka perfectly and having a closer connection to the force, the vision showed him a temple atop a mountain and grey waves emitting from it. This would be the next meditation point for him. But he had to speak with Ronen, so he approached his room and walked in. Not saying a thing to see if the boys Force Sence had gotten better.

"Yes Tydus?" Ronen used his heightened force sense ability, to sense Tydus, even before he entered the room. His powers had developed since that fateful day he met Tydus, off the back of some outer-rim smugglers. "Do you need something?" He was in deep meditation, he could feel the force around him now, he could see it emitting of every living thing. HIs blindness allowed him to see what those with sight could not.

He stayed in meditation, waiting for his teachers answer.

Tydus nodded with a smile, thankful the child could not see his emotion, he returned to being a grumpy man. He had tried to make a friendship with the child where he did not rely on Tydus, it would make it harder to separate when the time came. It was not working at all, Tydus liked the kid, after all these month, it was like a little kid brother you never wanted.

He walked over to the child and sat down in front of him, his grey and white cloak folding under him as he sat. He looked at the boy, "You have done well these last few months Ronen, you have surpassed all my expectations and become something to admire, but," Tydus lifted a finger, and sighed a little, "It seems the force has put us on a separate path, I am to travel to follow the path the force has lain out for me, as for you,.... I've spoken to an old friend, a knight trained in the old ways will take you as a Padawan, and you will learn the ways of the Jedi."

Tydus had spoke to his old friend through the smuggling networks he had set up in the operations room of the enclave. The friend was reluctant at first, but after telling them of the boys story, they had caved.

Ronen sat still, no movement, a single tear rolled down his cheek, but he knew Tydus was right, he could easily tell the dark energy that emmitted from his new friend, he knew he was gonna pursue a part of the force that, Ronen couldn't be a part of. Ronen understood, he was wiser now, but it still brought him to tears, to let go of a man, who had given him so much.
"I...." He struggled to bring his feelings to words.
"I understand Tydus..."
Ronen stood up and hugged Tydus, even though his cold, robotic limbs felt hard on his body, he still felt happy, to hug someone who he saw, as the man, who wasa better Father than his real one.

Tydus hugged the boy back, only to see the sadness roll off of him. He was not immune to passion, it was what made him a Grey Wonderer. The boy would need to learn to control these passions he felt, otherwise the dark side would trick him and tempt him. He spoke up to the boy, "You must learn how your emotions work, to use them as tool, and not be tools to your emotions, that is the trickiest path of the Jedi, a path I can not follow."

He let go of the child, pushing him back at arms length to take a look at him, up and down. He had truely grown, the light side of the force surrounded him, he was now more emotionally stable then when he first found the boy. He wasn't a man yet, but he was close, he just needed a little more training. "The path I follow is a tough one, but the experience we shared will help me through this new path, I thank you for that."

Ronen bowed to his friend, with not only respect for the man who tought him the ways of the force, but how to be the master of his emotions. He looked up to him, chin up and proud. "Thank you, Tydus" He bowed once more, even though Tydus wasn't the kind to draw attention, Ronen wanted Tydus to know how much he appreciated what he had done.
"So.. Who is this old friend?"

Ronen sat on the floor, and thought about things, waiting for his friends answer, he thought at what he would become, would he succeed? Would he fail? Would he die? No, he wouldn't give in so easily.

He took a Datapad from his cloak and looked at it for a second, then handed it to [member="Ronen Jerik"], they were cargo tickets to the planet Commoner. "I prefer you meet the man himself, I was told his name is [member="Veiere Arenais"], a knight of the old ways, he knows much in the ways of the Jedi."

Tydus bowed back, he wasn't much for Traditional Jedi Edict, but he new it would help the boy feel better. Tydus was never a learner of the Jedi, nor the Sith, but he had a deep dislike of the both of them. This boy would be the first Jedi he would call a friend. "I wish you luck in your training, I trust the force will allow us to meet again, your transport leaves tomorrow." He then recovered from the bow and looked at the boy, he needed to prepare for his new journey, but he wished to stay and talk more with the boy.
