Finding the Wayward

Char-Li merely stared at the woman with his cold Mandalorian glare. The visor focused on her, his eyes focusing against her body from behind the visor, not out of sexual yearning but out of tactical thought. He needed to see what weapons she has. That's it. He could make for a quick duck or flip the table toward the woman and draw his blasters. Either way, something would work.

She would have no visible weapons, however, some could possibly be concealed in her jacket. As she approached, those with powers in the Force would have no doubt in their mind that she was a dark side user. Her tone was forceful when she spoke, and she seemed to inject herself into the conversation like she belonged there.

"Some things are very secretive. And who might you be?"

Vassara cocked her head. She did not go for a blaster, which was good. The young woman also did not display much hostile intent, save butting in. That was besides the point though. She seemed to be a Darksider, something Vassara could not tolerate. On the other hand she had too much going on to get ina fight right now. So unless she started it, it wouldn't happen.

"Nice bit of work over there. Fight much?" She asked, hooking her thumb back towards where the dead patrons face was still smeared into the table.

"My name's Zareh."

She said, pulling a chair up to their table, taking the woman talking as a sort of psuedo-invitation. She smirked at the mention of the guy she smashed into the table.

"I don't take kindly to people touching me when I've already told them once to piss off. Sent the message, though."

She chuckled to herself, before leaning forward, and looking towards the two.

"I feel as if you two are in the business of high-risk high-reward job openings, correct?"

She made sure to make what sort of eye contact she could make with the Mandalorian.

Vassara raised an eyebrow, giving her s tare that pierce asteroids with her icy blue eyes. She was inquisitive and caught on rather quickly. In fact much too quickly. The real question in Vassara's mind was if she could trust the girl. She hadn't a clue about her other than that she had just radiated a spike of dark energy, which gave Vassara an uneasy feeling to say the least.

"Hmm certainly could be. Are you a Sith or affiliated with the One Sith?"

It was an invasive question but one that had to be asked.

Zareh narrowed her eyes at the woman, they resembled the way a viper sized up its prey.

"You just ask that sort of thing in public view?"

She would stare for a moment, before sighing, and leaning back in her chair.

"No, not at all. I was trained by one, but.. I learned they weren't my style. Way too political for my tastes. I look out for myself, and those that are close. And that really only leaves me, myself, and I right now."

Her hands had dropped to her lap, out of view under the table.

Vassara nodded. She knew those folks too, Dark Jedi. She'd worked alongside one or two but could never stomach them for long. Her thoughts drifted back to the days of The Expeditionary Fleet, and their adventures. Certain of her folks hurling force lightning and such. Dreadfull.

"Yes it had to be asked. So you're Dark Jedi material then?"

She too could be brought in, but someone else would have to introduce her/ Vassara was far too close to the darkside as it was sometimes, vetting one would be against her style.

"If you're willing to kill Sith, you're in. Same offer I made my comrade here."

[member="Vassara Raxis"]

"Less Dark Jedi.. More of an outcast from both sides." She thought to herself.

"But the semantics don't matter, I can kill Sith."

Vassara nodded and then dipped her hand into the depths of her jacket. When it came out it was holding a small comlink, with a secure frequency punched in. She set it on the table and pushed it towards Zareh, smiling.

"Good, I like that. This is a secure line to me. Use it anytime you might need help. I'll be sending you a mission of my own ina few days. Do a good job, I'll bring you in with the folks I'm involved with."

Char-Li was merely listening, not wanting to really fill in because of the fact that it wasn't his place. He normally gave cold gazes that expressed little emotion from his helmet. The visor was a dark and very dull black that gave a deathly cover. There was a sort of haunting thing from the actual gaze that most people can account. It was the menacing sort of thing, much of this was due to the fact that silence was his friend.

Dathomir helped him with a lot of this too, little chants also helping with combat and the singing they did there. He heard of a legend, the Siren of Dathomir, a sort of chant that lured those to their deaths. Very tribal, primative, and very effective.

"Oh yeah? Where you off to now, sweetie?" She said, leaning back in her chair, taking the commlink.

"Somewhere far from here I'm afraid."

Vassara smiled and got up, sheathing her shotgun. Yes it was time to go, before things got crazy in here or she got saddled with more than she could handle.

"I'll contact you."

She gave a nod to Luzerei and then disappeared out of the door.

(Exit)

Char-Li merely stood up and looked toward the other woman, "Hope to see you on our side, sith." The word Sith had a bit of venom in it, but not out of hatred, just a sort of respect that an enemy of one's culture would ensue. He then followed Vassara out and left behind a few credits to pay for the drink, he'd pick pocket more later on.
