"You are such an insufferable c..." Her voice trailed off as Matsu was working with the Pillow book, the holocrons gatekeeper being her usual stubborn self but revealing a little she work with on things. Mostly she was talking about Tython and battling force hounds on the moons but there were some other worlds within the unknown regions... and that is where she was heading. An ancient world they had used as a forward base and storage area. She'd be able to explore and hopefully find something interesting as well as with this padawan she was bringing. THe idea of working with him was not a bad one, he seemed to enjoy being a jedi which was good and she was starring out from the observation platform of the ship while it went through hyperspace. "Welcome aboard the Harlequin class exploration vessel the Atrisian Star padawan."

Jake looked around to get the sense of where he was he had a small smile.He did enjoy traveling but he never been somewhere unknown.He didn't know if he should except anything out of this trip but who knows he might learn something.He wasn't against learning a thing or two but he wondered how dangerous this could yet.Or if there was any danger at all maybe they would find something good.He wasn't sure if he liked the idea of being an explorer but he was willing to see.He was looking out a window as she spoke."Thank you but what can we expect?"

"The unexpected." She had a grin on her face though when the ship came out of hyperspace over the planet. With the information she had and suddenly the sensors were released to give a view of the planet. "We are in the vast unknown regions of the galaxy, anything and everything is out here padawan." Her smile remained before she was charting a course for the ship to head down into a large open area. The feeling of the world coming to her as she sensed life on it but the cities seemed to be underused.

He raises his eyebrow and rans his hand through his light brown hair.He thought unknown areas could cause a lot of issues but they also be beneficial.He couldn't lie to himself he was a bit scared of unknown areas.But the reason he was scared was of dying and no one would find him or know.In a sense death was his fear and not the unknown he thought this whole thing was unwise."Are you sure this is a wise thing to do?We may not find anything out there?Or we could die and no one would know or find us?I also understand we could get lucky and find something good but are the risks worth it?"To him all the things he just questioned where logical things to ask do he did just that.

Matsu was looking at him as she raised an eyebrow. "To be a jedi you must learn to not fear the unknown. Just because you have a little risk of not finding something doesn't mean a situation is not going to teach you." She was moving and with the ship landing as she motioned the massive landing struts of it were holding it up. Matsu moved from the observation dome to the ramp heading down and walked with a small grin on her face. Equipment back with gear and gadgets as well as her sabers on her hip with the saber disc blade. "Come we shall see and I'll show you there is little to nothing to fear. The silver jedi will be able to track the beacon from the ship."

He follows her."Yes I am feeling fear but I do know one can learn from it.But I was also looking at it logically too.Isnt part of being a Jedi yo over come ones fear and learn from it?"

She was looking at him and bowed her head in agreement. "Yes overcoming your fear is important but you must also not let it keep you from doing things. The galaxy is full of wonders and dangers, things you can find that are tantalizing but it is not for the timid." She continued to move through the area when she was heading down now with a smile on her face. "Now come, we'll explore a nice place with some room for enjoyment."

Yes that is what he had thought himself.He wouldn't let his fear stop him in doing things though.He had agreed with the Jedi on one thing that one shouldn't be ruled by their emotions.But one should know them and take them in though."I'm ready when you are I wasn't going to let my fear be in control."

That was the spirit while she was walking and heading through the area. Where they were going as the map from the holocron pointed was up and in the mountain while she could see the massive temple built into the side. She could see it all and was leading the way up the massive stairs while straightening her hair for the moment. "That is good to hear, cause temples strong in the force can be very unforgiving." She got up tot he doors and standing there as her hands came up she was pushing the force energies through the doors to open them while her senses flared outwards sensing and searching within the temple.

Jake followed close behind to make sure to keep up with her.To him she seemed pleased with the thoughts he had voiced to her about fear.He really did believe in what he had said and hopped it would work out for him.When she was looking at the map he was shocked an unknown area had a map.He saw the temple they where coming up to it look really cool.When she said the temples where strong in the force that was a new thing for him.Though he had never explored a temple before but he had no idea they were strong in the force.He wonder what type of force engery the temple had was it light or dark side of the force.For himself he hoped it was light side he was a light side force user.He wonder if she knew what side of the force the temple was strong in so he would have to ask to find out."I didn't know unknow areas had maps.Where did you get the map to get to the temple or for the temple itself?Do you know if the temple is strong in the light side or the dark side of the force?Yes I can feel the force from the temply."He was a bit on edge but he had calmed down abit and he was glad for calming down.Him calming down would help them explore this unknown temple.It would also keep Jake on his toes or so he had hopped it would.He took a deep calming breath to get ready to go inside the unknow temple he had a small smile.

He was full of questions now and she was walking in the temple while she was thinking about it with a smile on her face before she was speaking. "Patience padawan there were a lot of questions in that now." She kept going and stopped in a chamber. "This is an old jedi temple from after the force wars. That makes it within the lightside of the force and we have a map because this was in a holocron map." She had a grin though looking around the temple and the chamber they were in led to different sections of the mountain as she was going. Up the stairs leading towards the sections of the watchmen's chambers. She could make out the holographic displays for communicating with the other temples and jedi. She was looking for an inventory or something to show what they had in the outpost.

He keeps following behind her listening to what she was say.He was here to learn so he would do as he was told and listen to what she had to say.She said something about the force wars he had know idea what happened in them or what started.But he guessed it was between the Jedi and the sith that just made sense.This place was a Jedi temple no wonder the Jedi had a map to lead them to it the Jedi were good at recorded keeping.He knew the Jedi like to hold on to their history for them to learn from.

"Well it being a Jedi temple would make sense for it being with the lightside.And how the Jedi would have a map to it too.But I would like to know about the force wars?I have never heard of them I assume they were between the Jedi and the sith."

"The force were are from before the jedi existed when the ancient Je'daii order lived on tython and fought among themselves. It was a great divide that led to the creation of the jedi order and banishment of those who used the darkside." She continued to move and as she entered one of the larger rooms looking at the table. "And they used locks like this." The table was large and covered with stone pillars while she was moving her attention to it while she opened the drawer moving and checking the crystals. "To hide any number of things, the crystal resonate at different vibrations within the force creating a song." She continued to work with it and the equipment was different parts she knew how to work with them while listening to the song of the combination lock while she started working on the stones.

He kept following behind her and taking in all the information she was tell him."When they where fighting against one another was it kinda like how the Jedi and sith fight?"He watched her move along and open things he was curious as well.But didn't want to touch anything unless she asked him to.He wondered if they would find anything important to help the Jedi."What did they hide information that they didn't want the ones that were against them to get?Or did they hid locations as well?"He took a look around the room to see if he could spot anything.He figured he should keep gaurd just in case something where to happen so he'd be ready.

"They hid anything they wanted to from other people. Soemtimes it could be a dangerous secret and sometimes just a secret." Her attention was on the stones as she lifted a couple up here and there moving along before she checked the sounds again with it resonating throughout it. Slowly she checked and worked on it using and monitoring the control crystals before she heard a click and it resounded like a song opening up the door while she looked over the things that were in there. Crates and packs of equipment she was looking over while she walked locking it with the console on the table to remain open until she moved the control crystals. "You never know what is inside until you look."

He ran his hand slowly along his jawline.She did have a point it was a good idea to hide secrets from ones you don't want to have.But as they where looking around a thought hit him."If they hid things how can we be sure the will not be trapped if we find them?Because if it where me I would set traps just in case someone happened upon it.The traps would vary from how important the thing was.But I think we should not rule them out we should be more careful just in case."

"Traps are possible though most jedi didn't use them, that combination lock is designed so only those who know how it works can open it. There might be defenses padawa, keep yours eyes opened for those but traps are not a jedi thing to use." She moved forward with her hands going over some of it, crystals and robes were the basic but she could see scrolls, tomes and ancient holocrons that she was going through while standing there on the side of the room. Attention on the lockboxes that her hand was working on the crystals.

He lifted an eyebrow."Aren't defenses and traps kinda the same thing?"Well he thought they were because if they were hidden that would make it a trap.Well that was his thinking of the matter anyway he kept a sharp eye out for anything.That may be a trap like thing that could catch someone off guard.

Matsu was looking at him. "Defenses are visible and meant to show danger if you proceed forward. THey can be destroyed, they can be hacked. A trap is meant to lure you in and then harm you." She kept moving while her attention was on the different things within the vault. Her hands were going over some of the holocron as she touched them grabbing one of them while holding it. The crystal in her saber resonated with it and hummed in the proximity of the holocron. She had used this to find the holocron of the Sunrider and Qel-Droma families... so this seemed to be resonating with the baas crystal she had. The warm sensation of her crystal washing over her while she held it and set it in her pocket. Along with the others.

He saw her point in the difference between the two things.But he thought they still where similar things the both had ways around them.Although traps where harder to get rid of though or disarm but its not like they couldn't be.Traps where harder to spot as well and most of the time meant to kill the person before they where close to what they wanted.His thoughts where on even if the jedi had other ways of keeping non jedi out they should still set traps.Because if someone was smart enough or had enough time they could figure out how to get in without being a jedi.He watched her as she moved around the place with his eyes sharp for anything that could happen he hopped she knew what she was doing.

"I know jedi don't use traps but I mean if you want to keep non jedi out traps would be good.I'm sure most know jedi don't use them so it would be a good way to get someone off guard.It would also keep whatever they were trying to hide safe.Becuase if someone had come across imformation some how on to get into things like that and understood how it worked and wasn't a jedi.They still have a good chance of breaking in and getting what was in there so that's another reason to have traps."
