The First Bank of Tion has its roots in privileged and upstanding history. It is said that it was formed around the time of Xim's Tionese campaigns, when he brought the upstart Kingdom of Cron, the Livien League and the Thanium Worlds together into his Empire. It is said that the First Bank of Tion had been formed specifically to keep track of his finances. The truth of this is disputed, but it is one of several prided moments of history that the Bank uses to keep its sterling reputation high. The main office of the bank can be found on Tion II, one of the industrialized moons of the planet and the main port of call for the commerce finding its way to the world.
Its branches have their offices on Desevro, Estaria, Chandaar and Jaminere, each world being a major world of their particular region within the Tion Cluster. Through this the First Bank maintains a steady presence throughout the Tion Cluster, ensuring they are the first to hear of any particular developments that might complicate or even assist their operations.
With a large portion of the Tionese market serviced by them the First Bank now looks outward for expansion. A whole galaxy once served by the likes of the InterGalactic Banking Clan now having to do business with criminals on one side, disreputable outliers on the other and no stable banking institute in sight.
This has to change for the good of the Galaxy and who better to provide its services than the First Bank of Tion?
RATIONALE
In recent years it was going through some financial troubles. Its loans were not being repaid and they were lacking the resources to collect the debts that were owed to them, as they had previously been only leaning on their reputation and the importance of grace within Tionese society to receive what they were due.
This changed once a new owner stepped in and took charge of the situation. A scion of the Sienar-Santhe family, Alec had keen expertise in political as well as economical theory, but it was his experience within the Tionese Whiteguard that allowed him to change the work ethic of the First Bank. His first step was the tap his old connections within that same Whiteguard and pull some Santhe Security personnel from their barracks. Together they recruited a dedicated security force for the banking institute. They were trained, drilled and outfitted with the latest in combat-orientated technology, before being send out to retrieve the debts owed to the bank.
One month later every large debt was either paid, collateral confiscated or monthly pay plans formulated with sizeable beneficial rates in favor of the First Bank.
