He had been eerily quiet for the entirety of the Sith's stalking of the library, manoeuvring himself to the second floor, positioning himself near a balcony in order to get a bird's eye view over the entirety of the ground floor. Under his eyeless gaze, he could grasp a better view of the whole situation, several presences in the Force, most closer to one end of the spectrum than the other.
And while he was outnumbered, size mattered little. It was simply another variable to factor into how he approached things. His hand already moving to his commlink, sending messages, making quiet calls, somewhat pleased to know that a good deal of his access and authority in Alliance space had not been revoked during his sabbatical.
He wasn't sure if it was kept out of respect or they simply forgot to take him off the books. Either way, it was useful to him, so he was hardly going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
As the distant rumble was felt under his feet from the subterranean explosion, he cast his gaze downwards, while the downsides of lacking mundane forms of sight meant that he'd never see his friend's faces in any clear detail, it came with the benefit of being able to ignore pesky barriers of earth and stone if he focused hard enough.
And so focus he did, aiming his gaze downwards in the direction where he estimated the rumble originated. Gaze travelling deeper, deeper and deeper.
"Ah." He spoke aloud to no one in particular, his spiritual gaze was strained to its utmost. There was something below the university, a complex of some kind, and whatever lay down there felt dark.
So of course some Sith decided to loot an ancient tomb, because people seem to just leave artefacts lying around in caves just waiting for someone to pick them up and missure them. If he managed to get his hands on whatever was below, he planned on throwing it right into the nearest star. A quick, easy and efficient way of disposing any horrible magical items.
The sound of a distant crash distracted him from his plotting of stellar garbage disposal, attention now brought to one of the Sith quite literally punching her way through a wall and into a service tunnel. Catching a glimpse as she slipped through, his palm went to his forehead.
Of course it was her, figured she would be the first Sith he encountered when he decided to come back to the Core. A fool who mutilated herself body and soul for power, now seeking whatever may be lurking below. As Sith went she was hardly one of the worst ones running around, but while she hardly tortured small animals for fun, she was still part of a cult of egomaniacs and even if she hardly planned to torment the innocent with whatever was hidden below, he could hardly risk the countless innocents that would suffer on the off chance she might feel merciful.
So, letting out a sigh he moved to step on the railing of the balcony, slowly exhaling as he focused his mind and intent, emptying himself of all worldly concerns and desires, focusing himself on his goal.
Get whatever was hidden at the heart of the complex first, wreck the place and then get out.
Nodding once, he tilted his body forwards, allowing himself to slip off the railing and plummeting towards the ground below him, his heart rate slowing, his mind a still lake, free of worldly concerns, as instead of impacting the ground and breaking his spine, he simply
continued to fall downwards. From an outside perspective, it was a rather odd sight, the floor not even rippling as he passed through. But to those attuned to the higher mysteries of the universe it might as well have been screamed in their ears.
