First look at new Stormtrooper designs for Episode 7?

I came across this picture on facebook. It was from the Replica Prop Forum, the supposed source listed as Indie Revolver.

Apparently these are the new Stormtrooper and Snowtrooper designs for Episode 7. Whatcha think of the design? Could these be real?

I honestly hope the new stormtrooper helmet is legit, looks a lot more slick and less cumbersome, while still maintaining its charm / intimidation factor.

Not sure about these. I see these becoming 'dated' very quickly. Kind of like how you can tell Robocop is from the '80s based on the helmet design.

I like the classic design that these are trying to keep, lets just hope they protect against sticks and stones and allow for the Stormtroopers to see what the feth they are shooting at.

I hate them already. They look like a child's toy. Am I the only one who thinks that since theses movies are being made in a time when you can do just about anything either with CGI or off of the half dozen shows on SyFy that surely there is somebody in this world that can come up with a realistic looking yet to still completely bad*** Stormtrooper helmet.

I prefer the original ones. They're much more iconic and will most likely fit in with the time era of the 7th episode.

I am liking them, they still have the shades of the original needed to fit in and have altered enough to show the progression of time. It will of course come down to how they are used. If it is line lines of marching troopers who we never meet then faceless and sleek helmets are fine. If we meet a squad maybe we'll see some more customized versions.

I just...can't get into these. I'd rather have them use the originals then these, possible new models, for some reason don't feel like Star Wars to me. Of course, they look similar but it just ain't a stormtrooper.

It doesn't stray from the original design very much.

These are the "Ken Doll" versions of old Stormtrooper helmets. Wow, such smooth.

I think if you put these at the end of a line of helmets from the beginning(movie chronology) there is a natural progression... Almost like Disney is *Gasp* attempting continuity...

It makes you wonder what they'll do with the armour - as it was angular to reflect the helmet. Guess it will go smooth too....

Not as intimidating, if you ask me.

At least they're recognizable.
