Marzena nodded to [member="Lara Andar"], and offered the woman another smile before turning back to her canvas. Peeking around her easel once more, she squinted her eyes again, her gaze shifted back and forth between [member="Norin Kellarov"] and her poorly drawn rendition of his form. She tilted her head to the side; maybe it didn’t look so bad from this angle. Marzena set down her pencil and she shifted on her stool, her lower back was getting sore. After a quick stretch, she picked up a small palette of paint and a brush.
The movements of her brush were more confident, it was easy to fill in the blank areas with a bit of peachy color. She had decided to use the flesh toned paint right out of the tube, instead of attempting to mix her own. It wasn’t quite right, perhaps a bit more pink than she would have liked… but it was close enough. Her hand froze when she realized that the instructor was now standing just behind her, his eyes studying her work.
“You might add a bit more shading,” He said to her, and pointed towards the shoulder of her drawing. “Right there. Ah, yes. That’s much better.”
As the instructor continued down the line of students, Marzena looked up to see [member="Sara Lee Jones"] approach.
“Yes, thank you.” She said with a polite nod, “Nice to meet you, Captain Jones.”
Marzena continued to paint for another moment, and she turned to her classmates.
“So, how are your paintings coming along? Better than mine, I hope.” She said with a laugh. But just then, there was another new arrival. This time, a trooper stood framed in the doorway. Hmm, this was an interesting sight…
