Fish out of Water

"What will you do now?" [member="Cambria Zadira"] asked of the Nautolan Jedi. He squatted down over the Roadian and Trandoshan that moaned in agony on the ground. He pitied them, and clearly wanted to help them. "This is Confederacy space, so I'll allow you to do as you wish with these two. I'm sure the others won't be resurfacing their heads for a very long time, if the Hutts don't kill them that is. But for me.." he trailed off, standing up. He took a lingering look at her "I should get going. I hope that we may meet again some day, Cambria."

Cambria was just going to respond to [member="Hasjo Hallu"]'s parting words when CIS guards showed up. "Hold that thought," she said, clearly still wanting to speak with the Jedi, then the Twi'lek walked over to the men in uniform and gave them the sit rep on the slavers that they had apprehended. The bad guys were handcuffed and loaded into a paddy-wagon speeder while the girls were ushered the opposite direction to another speeder to be taken to the safe house.

When Cambria came back to stand before the Nautolan, she reached inside her cloak to a pouch that was on her utility belt and pulled out a blue gemstone with a star in the middle, then placed it into the palm of Hasjo's webbed hand.

"In my culture it is common practice when meeting a stranger or a guest for the first time that is of significance, Twi'leks usually exchange a gift or something else as a welcome or remembrance with that individual. I wish for you to have my warming crystal. May it bring you comfort as it has me," she offered genuinely with a soft smile upon her naturally berry colored lips.

"Thank you again for your assistance here today. I do hope someday that we may work together again, Hasjo," she added with a respectful bow of her now uncovered head and twitch of her full length lekku that swished about.

For some odd reason, Bri felt conflicted with him leaving…. Something more to meditate on as if the Rogue Knight's list wasn't long enough as it was as she still searched for her center in the Force.

He glanced down to his large hand, the gemstone a tiny jewel in his massive palm. His skin prickled at her touch. His own flesh was cold, regardless of the intense heat of the planet. His body was capable of keeping temperatures low in great heat it would seem, but he required water to do so. Otherwise he would dehydrate very quickly and his organs would begin to shut down. His eyes met hers, searching them. He nodded quietly, rather not saying goodbye. He had a feeling he would meet her again. He gave her the bow of his head. He marched from the landing pad and became lost in the street crowds.
