Let's entertain yet another alternate reality where Palpatine didn't die. Where the Rebellion filed and the Empire lasted to this time. Where the seeds of rebellion have almost dried out. A galaxy where Asoka died. Where Grievous didn't due. Where Anakin died and Dooku didn't.

An event where for reasons unknown, knowledge in how to practice the Force was lost to all, and so the War between the Jedi and the Sith, as well as political powers involved, were fought on even ground.
