After about 30 minutes of his droid searching, it was finally able to trace the slaver scum who were breaking in and ripping people from their homes to the cantina they came from. It was time for Ek to move out. Ek put down the fruit that he was idly inspecting and turned into the crowd. Ek was of middling height for a human, and even with all his armor on wasn't to bulky under the flowing grey hooded robe. That combined with the mask hiding his lower would make him just another shady slum dweller in a crowd, particularly when he was keeping his force presence to a minimum. The sleeves of the robe snapped in a gust of wind. Once he got within a block of the cantina, Ek turned down a narrow alley and scaled the back of one of the buildings. From there he moved from low rooftop to low rooftop casually until the cantina was in view.
"Now, what kind of operation do we have going on here?" Ek's golden bionic eye zoomed in, giving him a better view of the seedy cantina. He watched all manner of scum come in and out. He pulled out some dried bantha jerky from the pocket in his inner robe and chewed the tough meat. Finally, one group of the scum who had left the cantina came back with a sobbing woman in cuffs who, frankly, looked spiced out of her mind. "But where are they taking her?, they aren't keeping them all in the cantina are they? that would make my job a bit harder. No one wants to fight in a basement."
Ek moved to a roof on the other side of the cantina. from here Ek was able to spot part of a group of cages. "Bingo." Ek opened up the droid control module on his arm. He put the probe droid back on its charging port on his lower back. He then activated all four of his crab droid mines. The mines scuttled down his back and legs to the floor in front of him. He programmed the mines to scuttle on over to the cluster of cages behind the cantina. they would spread out evenly and one would cling to the outside of the back wall of the cantina. once in place the mines would explode, damaging at least some of the cages and causing a panic in the cantina. "That should put a serious wrench in the cartel's slaving operation." Ek took a moment to feel guilty about that first slave woman who could be injured or killed by his explosions, but he rationalized it away by thinking that her sacrifice would ensure the freedom of others. Besides, Ek had a mission to complete. He would stick around just long enough for the fireworks then be on his way, he at least owed the woman that.
