Follow the yellow brick road(Feena Mason)

Naboo was a place of wonder and as Elphaba moved through the streets she looked more that the gungans and well she had enjoyed the Lake Country. All those nerf herds moving around and the waters were beautiful until she had gotten back to the city. THere was a healer here and well the order didn't have many healers. There was Cathbodua one of the healers who remained and stayed in the basement working in the low light. Her own illness a problem, the others had left the order and went to the silver jedi.

So she had come to meet Feena Mason a former jedi, templar and master healer. IF there was anyone who coudl teach her some skills it would be her and working hard to be useful to the order would have to do while she checked the turadium wrist bands Sasori had created fr the order. Her robe over her tanktop and pants as the black material absorbed the light. The nightclub material coated with some reflec. Though now she had a problem wandering around. "I am so frakking lost."

The Eternal Queen
Feena had dreamed of returning home to Naboo for years. She had looked at holovids of her childhood, looking out the windows, looking over the water. Theed was a beautiful city. And then, when she was older, swimming in the lakes, finding secret pools of water, exploring caves to collect data of the fungi that grew there... And the schools. Oh, she loved her schooling days.
She missed this ever so much when she was shipped away to Coruscant. Every so often, even in that city, she would smell something, or see something that reminded her of home.
Then, the confederacy. Bothawui. The planet, although beautiful, was not Naboo. Not her Naboo.
She had always thought she would come home one day though, but she had always assumed that it would be when Confederacy Forces invaded the Omega Protectorate and took the world by force. Feena had never wanted war to come to Naboo. Not once.

And it hadn;t come to that. She was home now, and Naboo was still free and beautiful. That fresh scent in the air brought back such a feeling of nostalgia.
After arriving back home again, after so many years, Feena had first checked her old family estate, the one most recently owned by her aunt Atilae. Well, it was hardly in the best shape after being left alone for so many years, but it did bring back such memories.

As Feena walked back to her temporary apartment in the city, choosing to take a stroll with her personal security at her side to take in the scenery, she practiced her speech in her head. What speech exactly? The one she was going to use when she made her bid for Queen. It was important to be prepared. A brilliant resume would do no good if the common citizen couldn't stand you.

Elphaba kept moving, she was hoping this world was the right place... Well okay she was certain it was the right place more she was hoping the right city while she walked and stopped a few people speaking with a smile. "Excuse me do you know where Feena Mason is?" Their faces told her who? And she had to look at them while sighing. "Thanks anyways." She moved off from the people and went towards the rooftops and she started climbing the stairs before sitting on one of the railings and bringing her legs up a little. "If I was a healer where would I go?" She had to think about it more and more before noticing the group moving through the crowd. A couple security guards as she raised an eyebrow and moved jumping down and wrapping the force around her limbs to soften the impact. "Lady Mason? She shouted it to see for a reaction while holding her hands in sight. No saber, her herself and her hope the woman was there

The Eternal Queen
At the sound of her voice, Feena was shaken from her speech preparations and looked in the direction of the voice.

"Err, yes?"

How odd. She didn;t know the one that the voice came from. Curious that she should be known enough to be called out from a crowd.

The woman answering was actually a surprise... she wasn't sure but thanked every bit of the force that she had guessed right... Would have been strange if she had to go from high class woman to high class woman asking if they were someone else. They might get offended and she spoke catching up and placing her hands on her knee's. "Lady Mason I am so glad I found you, I was told you were one of the few that could help teach healing."

The Eternal Queen
The one who had called her name was a young Lady. Curious. Feena raised a hand for her droids to stop with her and wait and they obeyed at once.

"Healing? Yes. I teach healing." she sounded concerned about the idea, biting gently at her lip, "You wanted to learn? Was that it?"

Letting a breath out between her teeth she gave a nod while her hands were on her hips feeling where it hurt when she was running. "Yes please, the healers in the jedi have all but disappeared leaving a gap. Best they have in padawan's trying to treat for the war effort." She gained her breath finally and the burning stopped a little while she stood tall.

The Eternal Queen
War effort. Feena visibly winced at this. War. Why did [people only wish to learn the art of healing during war times? Healing was useful all the time!

"Why do you want to learn so bad? It's obviously important, if you would go to all this effort to find me."

"Because there are no healers in the Republic, no ones who haven't' been chased off and are in the outer rim." There was no one, a good deal of padawans trying to heal, one or two knights who didn't focus and were locked away trying to do whatever and even less actually making an impact in times of war or peace. "The galaxy needs someone who can heal it and not just wreck things."

The Eternal Queen
Feena was silent for a good while. She was taking in her answer. The Galaxy. The Galaxy 'needs'.

"...You do realize what it will mean if I agree to teach you, don't you? This Galaxy is not kind to those who refuse to fight, but I will not train a soldier to heal, just so they can aid a destructive war effort. If I train you, I will expect commitment."

That was more then fine if anything that was a great idea and Elphaba nodded her head. "I don't like fighting, anyone can swing a sword or shoot a gun. I just want to not have to be telling people we lost members because no one can heal. I mean we already lost the fire crystals, they are who knows where, even the small crystals padawans are given have disappeared. I want to heal, I want to learn."

The Eternal Queen
Well, that had settled it for Feena. She looked at the young woman in front of her, and it was like looking in a mirror from 10 years ago.

"Follow me."

Without another word of explanation, she turned on her heel, her two security droids following close.

With a nod of agreement, Elphaba followed Feena and looked at the droids, the people around her while she checked her bracers and clothing. She might not wear the robes of a jedi but she was glad for that... with some of the unrest getting healing training from outside the order might be a scandal. She followed but not crowding to peeve the droids... wanted to respect the personal bubble while she finally finished and pulled her hair into a tight ponytail that bounced while she walked.

The Eternal Queen
As she made her way through the crowd, she had to pause a second to try to remember where she was set up at the moment. This was hard. New home. New life. But she saw it. A lovely estate on a hill just off the lake. She'd had flowers planted outside, but it was clear by the piles of dirt still left out, that the work was not done yet. She led the girl up the cobble stone path, entered a 5 digit code and let the door slide open. She entered, followed by her droids, and waited for the girl to step inside too.

Boxes lined the walls, furniture covered still in sheets, light fixtures still unfinished... It was very clear that Lady Mason and her family had moved the Naboo quite quickly.

The trek up to the house was amazing and she couldn't believe the sight of it all. The flowers, the scale this was not like the temple rooms she had grown up in. She looked around and followed close enough she didn't get lost while walking but not enough to be considered nosy or messing with personal space. She wanted to learn not look like one of those fangirls that stalked around looking for stray hairs to make dolls. "This place is beautiful."

The Eternal Queen
Beautiful? Feena squinted and looked around, wondering very seriously if they were seeing the same estate. Yes, it wasn't in complete disarray, but it just seemed so... plain compaired to where she lived before. Her castle on Imerria, her old family summer home in Theed, even her personal quarters in the Confederate capital building was much more elegant than this.

"You should have seen where I lived on Imerria," she sighed, "Like a castle from a fairytale. "

That sounded wonderful and while against the whole jedi thing of wanting more... Dammit a fairytail with prince charming, storybooks and happy endings was a wonderful thing that you should want. "I live in a bunk with thirty other padawans because the council has kicked anyone not a master off Tython."

The Eternal Queen
Feena motioned for one of the droids to power down while she asked the other to fetch the protocol droid, K to her. She could have asked another droid to bring in tea, but K was the only one she trusted enough to make it perfect. She sat down in a chair, motioning for the girl to take the other. She was about to say something else, but the girl already spoke and it made the womans words catch in her throat. She almost felt like she could choke on them.

"They... What!?" It was most unbecoming for Feena to have an outburst, but this was what brought it on, "Goodness! The Order certainly has changed since my day! Sometimes I feel that I should have stayed, if only to prevent nonsense like this from happening."

She was shaking her head, disappointment hung over her like a cloud.

"Nobody should be forced into conditions like that. How... Uncivilized."

She gave a shrug "They want to have better security.. or something basically all padawans are trained on Ossus, masters can go to Tython and no one is supposed to go there now." She still didn't understand it but after Selena, Dragonsflame, Carn and the others there were just boring things going on. No real structure aside from a few people doing what they wanted or roaming around assigning blame to the ones who fight to protect while they wash their hands of it all. "The difference from your time might be too much, more emphasis on warriors and the people who love the benefits of a warrior fighting but will gladly condemn anyone who lifts a blade up as criminal." She stayed near her master and just paid attention to everything else feeling the venting of her own frustration was worth it. She felt better, lighter and turned to Feena. "I agree but comfort is not needed we should be able to help the galaxy without the pains and restrictions I hope."

The Eternal Queen
Feena just shook her head in response. Yes, comfort was a luxury, but being stuffed in a single room with that many... That was taking it too far. Before the Lady could say anything however, K arrived just in time with a pristine white porcelain tea set.

"Ah! Thank you, K. You can set it down here."

The droid set the tea set down on a low table, bowed it's metal head and retreated from the room.

"How do you take you tea, dear? We can talk about nastiness later. I find a good cup of tea can make any discussion bearable."
