Truth wasn't slander, and while she didn't bother to waste her breath on fools any further, she didn't leave for the knight. Common sense spoke that a person in Alachei's talents did not simply become emotionally compromised. Apparently everyone had completely missed the memo where conspiracy was a huge galactic crime. In that, she was protected. As for the ships... two very distinct ships of which only two exist and were entrusted to the personal guard, those of which simply did not have enough time out of her personal sight to leave the planet for prolonged periods of time let alone be one of the hardest things to steal in the galaxy and were located on Republic shipyard records consistent with her stays, arrivals and departures, did not simply go missing. Eight hundred meters of metal did not 'go missing.'
The Republic were supposed to be her allies, yet they had continuously thrown her under the bus and treated her like rubbish since day one. The Mandolorians slandered her, a member of that same Republic. Not Alachei. If it had been any of them, they would question the Mandolorians. But not for Alachei; she is just the doormat of the Republic.
Alachei pulled back the datapad from before, this time adding to it all docking and transit records of the two Glaives. As expected, all were spot-on consistent with her travels and lodging, and left too brief a window to leave the system. A case perhaps was had with the Astra-class gunships, but again it was proven out of her responsibility. No amount of digging was ever going to find otherwise, because there was nothing else to find that wasn't already downloaded on the datapad.
"I'm fine, thank you," Alachei said in her typical flat calm. "As stated before, this datapad contains all sales records of the Astra-Class gunship and any other products sold in bulk to Mrs. Saybin. As well, I have also just downloaded all docking records and logs from the only two Glaive electronic frigates in existence, both consistent with my personal records and whose on-board computers are also consistent with these findings. You fill find it quite impossible that they have played any hand in your accusations. The rest of the representatives of the Republic may speak for itself, but you will find that only I may truly help you to find what you seek. They did not develop this gunship, I did. They are not familiar with this tech. I hope our future encounters will be less accusatory."
The datapad again gently drifted off and onto the Chancellor's desk. Everything they'd ever be able to find was already there. While Alachei was dismayed that her own alliance would come to invade her privacy and that of her home, so long as none stepped foot illegally in the holy Exodus castle-monastery, she currently cared little what they did.
