Force-chemotherapy

"Second auxiliary hangar ready, admiral"

"Roger"

Thank the Force that the patient is still asleep: this brain tumor is almost finished, and I used pyrokinesis to cauterize the blood's approaches to the tumor: better small amounts at a few locations than one big amount of flame, she thought. Surely [member="Kami Meran"] will feel better once the tumor has been disposed of, and it's almost there. Almost complete. That reminds her of using the Force for uses very few would even think about. But, as the procedure was almost complete, Kami would hopefully feel better, with one less problem taken care of. And probably a few nights of rest would be necessary after the procedure ends, she thought. It would be her duty to tell her about possible side effects after the procedure is over. [member="Lyth Meran"] would probably be impatient to see that her sister is on the mend. Even though Kami may want to slow down her activities for the next few days, since even using Force-healing after a cancer doesn't mean that recovery will be instant.

Lyth Meran

Bullet with Butterfly wings.
Lyth was baying as Bodenzia stopped her wearing out her desk.
" look. it'll be an hour or so. here is 50 creds go to the refresher then get us a few shacks ok? you look on edge. and well i can do with a snack. and make mine Barbecue. " the woman smiles as thr tiny sprite flew off to get snack.

[member="Cathul Thuku"]

One hour later, the brain tumor was finally removed. She was relieved it was all over, and her second cup of caf would be much smaller than the first one. Also, once the brain tumor was removed, she would feel relieved but her patient, [member="Kami Meran"], would have to be moved to another ward for the early stages of the convalescence. Plus Cathul's Force-batteries were running a little low. [member="Lyth Meran"] was also bringing in some snacks like the barbecue snacks Bodenzia asked. Some snacks for the assistant, some snacks for Lyth, some for Kami and finally some for Cathul. That was a tiresome surgery, but at least she was happy about using her own magic to cure another patient. My patient will probably going to need some painkillers: there are no traces of either tumor in the Force, she thought. Even though some of the most severe patients she cured took about twice as long, six hours of using Force-healing in a row was going to leave some traces in her body. Kami awakens...

"Before any of us goes to bed, here is a prescription for painkillers. There will be side effects for any procedures like the one you just undertook"

" [member="Cathul Thuku"] thank's look i don't trust just anyone.. i hope you realize that." Kami said Sitting upright. in the bed. with her bottom dangling out of her robes. " But my lungs are shot. arn't they? she asked. [member="Cathul Thuku"]

"[member="Kami Meran"] I'm afraid your lungs won't last that long. In about a month or two, unless lungs are somehow transplanted, either organic or cybernetic, then your lungs will truly be shot. Although you trust me for most medical needs, organ transplantations are the things I cannot do without a surgical droid. That being said, in a day or two you will get a transplant, if lungs can come that fast. You can take advantage of that timeframe if you have cybernetic lungs ready to be shipped here. I know that it's urgent in your case. With Force-healing, when the surgery is underway you will be under general anaesthesia all the same as you were today. Oh and once the surgery is over, I will use Force-healing to stitch your ribcage back. However, as with any lung transplant, while life-saving, there are several tests to be undertaken in the days following said transplant, regardless of whether the lungs being transplanted are organic or cybernetic. My advice: go for cybernetic. I know they're not for everybody but there are no counter-indications in your case. If you went organic, a lung transplant may, on average, prolong your lifespan by about 5-10 years and make you take a lot of medicines to prevent autoimmune diseases"

Cathul may not be trained as a full medical doctor, but her medical knowledge is still nothing to scoff at. Force-healing may cure the lung cancer, but she knew that, even with Force-healing, a post-cancer lung will not work as it used to before said cancer happen. As with many Force-healers, one should best approach her as a supplement to a generalist doctor. Now that's one patient she will see around for a few weeks or so.
