Four of a Kind

Anya Venari

Star Queen Tirathana VII

Lia nodded, smiled slightly at Vari, and then rose.

One by one the space elves left the room to communicate matters to their subjects. In the case of Tylania it was technically her lieges she was telling, but no one was under any illusion where the Paragon ranked in reality.

Tegaea meanwhile rose to her feet and gestured for Elpsis to join her.
“We can do some meet and greets. Anyone here you don’t already know well?” She figured it would be most of them. If Elpsis knew anyone it’d be Anya, but then probably only in passing.

Soon enough a feast of sorts would be held to celebrate the agreement. The ‘Queens’ would use the big table whilst their retainers would get a couple of less grand tables off to the side.

Lia meanwhile after relaying her news sought out Vari again, hoping to get the Eldorai merchant’s attention.

Elpsis would rather be elsewhere, but figured she might as well get things over with. "Don't know anyone here really," she shrugged. "Know Anya. Sorta. Don't like Semiramis. I can see why Mother likes her," she added a bit tartly. Elpsis was not fond of the idea that someone was better than others because they wore a crown - or had Force powers.

She had the Force, yes. It meant she could do stuff people without it could not and survive things that would kill many normal people. There were also plenty of things she could not do. Like read something that was not written in braille. Or see anything if she ran into a ysalamiri. Or run a company. And as strong as she was, there was always a bigger fish. The Netherworld Event had shown even the so-called Force Gods were in the greater scheme of things.

Meanwhile, Vari had found herself a spot at the table. It seemed there'd be a feast. Food was good because Eldorai had high metabolism. She had her droid scan it first though. The innocuous protocol droid could not speak six million languages, but it had other skills. Such as an impeccable knowledge of exchange rates, the stock market, contracts, patents, poisons and interior decoration.

"Ah, Queen Lia, please join me," she said politely once she'd noticed the Xioquo. "This is B3-D3."
"Greetings, Your Highness," the machine spoke.
