I stumbled on this RP while googling to make sure there's such a thing as Force inhibitors for a Kylo/Hux RP I'm doing on another site and I really really think I'm liking this little forum y'all have here

All of this is super professional from the rules to the starship creation threads y'all have and I tend to like things that are this well developed so I think I'm gonna stick around for awhile.

Maybe I'll be one of those peeps who have been here for three years.

Just one little question before I get started and started posting stuff in other threads (mainly the creations ones):
- How do I color and change the font to my text? Y'all seem to be doing it with no problems at all and here, I only see just white and regular boring fonts.
- How do I imbed pictures, gifts and even videos to my posts?
- I already have the first character I wanna create in mind and I wanna check in and make sure that the Starships Creation threads are for ONLY non-canon special ships you wanna create, right? You can just put a SW canon ship, say for personal use nothing big, in the character bio no problem without having to post it into the Starships Creation thread?

You'll find those two in the text editor when you're writing a post on PC. You may not be able to access it on mobile, I don't know, never used that.

That's not necessarily correct. There are many instances where canon ships need to be submitted through the factory to meet RP standards. An example of this is the First Order's resurgent-class star destroyer which needed to be drastically scaled back from its canon counterpart.

That being said, if you wanted to roll around the Galaxy in say, a lambada-class shuttle, or even an old school x-wing, no one would bat an eye.

Sorry if I just confused the everliving hell out of you. There is a bit of a learning curve joining this site.

My laptop hates the editor version of the site so I've just learned to use the bbc codes. For example, use {color=green} words {/color} to change the color of a font. Use [ and ] instead of { } though. So it ends up like this!

You can do the same for pictures {img} image url here {/img} or {url} url here {/url} for links. Again, use [ ] and you should be set to go! Sometimes it gives me trouble, but that is my workaround. If you ever need to know how to code anything else, just google "bbc code for _____".

Hi!! Welcome to Chaos!! We have quite the little family here. But I see you have a few questions.

- How do I color and change the font to my text?

For this, if you look in your response block, there is a whole bunch of icons above where you type. To change the color of your text, just highlight what you want colored (I'm not a coding geek) Click on the drop down box next to where it says "size" and you can pick your colors.

- How do I imbed pictures, gifts and even videos to my posts?

For this, it's pretty much the same as the text color. Underneath the drop down boxes, You see the B, I, U, S, etc. Again, make sure you copy the link you want to imbed, highlight the section you want the link imbedded into, then click on the little icon under the arrow of the drop down box that says "Size". It will then give you the opportunity to paste the link into a little box.

Also as an add on, if you just want to add a picture to a post, don't worry about saving the image to your laptop, there's an image icon next to where you see the <>, just click on that, paste the direct link to your image into the little box that comes up. After that, your image should show up in your post.
