Public From Dusk-Till-Dawn

Location: Coruscant (City Capital)

The Galaxy, being woven with many creatures and places is home to many that have aspirations to become something great. Something that will create an undeniable spark. This case is no different for Dawn-Sulis. A Sith Acolyte with no master...which meant..No true directive as of yet. She was a product of abandonment, from events years past. But what she did know and come to fully understand from her perspective was that everyone has two sides to them like a bad Sabacc game. Trust no one..Not even Baricon...Her mentor and caretaker. As she enters back into the planet she called home, it would be a perfect time to tie up some loose ends. Revenge is a pandora's box she was willing to open despite consequences. Knowing the security and lore surrounding Coruscant, she would be well to know her manners and limitations. She wasn't here for a confrontation..no....She was here to annihilate...Only those that hurt her in the end. But first..Where would her mother be??

Entering the atmosphere of Coruscant in the black sun fighter Vessel, Dawn would take a wide left turn towards the landing station southbound of the port terminal within the elegant city capital. Flicking switches to reverse thrusters as her vessel parted the clouds coming in. Her radar would ping an alert as the navigation system frequency channel was interrupted by the sky patrol within the area. "Vessel 284-HKS..This is pilot Beek...You are entering civilian airspace on loading dock 2B South. Identify yourself. Five seconds to comply." He would firmly state over the intercom. Dawn let out a slight giggle unintentionally but would look over to her right-hand side through the visor seeing the approaching fighter.

"Dawn-Sulis...I.D. 042-1888..." She responded while slowing down to comply with the general directive she was used to when traveling from planet to planet. Her eyes glistened in the reflective sun as her legs twitched slightly. Although in full control of them, every now and then its like they had a mind of their own. She ran her left hand through her brunette hair as the man over the comm would respond, "042-1888...Sulis-Dawn...Your clear to land..Follow along to Docking bay South 2B..Over...". She nods and turns off her communication channel while sighing. "Time to find mommy." She said aloud as her cruise control was activated and she was coming in for a landing.

As the air patrol led her to the landing strip the air pilot checked in with the ground checking officer letting him know of the incoming vessel. As Dawn came to a smooth landing she would flick her switches aboard her fighter and activate the shut different valve systems. Arming it with a standard security alarm and shield she then would rise from the cockpit. Straightening her leather black jacket, she would wrap her hair into a quick pony and check her satchel. Cigars…writing pen, Identification, creds…check. She then looked down at her utility belt that had one pouch containing a decoy device that would set off a distracting sound if need be and to her right….her lightsaber. Crafted with the basic components but with a used crystal that made it cackle loudly. She knew it needed slight repair and perhaps she could find someone who was in the field of such work. (Better bring it with me) she said to herself. She knew where she was going but needed to pass security check she was sure. (Should be simple) she said to herself as the slight whooshing is heard as she exited down the exit ramp and began to head forward. (No disruptive movements…keep to yourself..) she said as she continued on….

Hearing the approaching footsteps through alacrity, Dawn smirked and nodded towards the commando. "going my way?" She would question as her left hand would rest itself on the strap of her satchel and her gaze directly upon him. As She walked, the man could clearly tell she was in civilian clothing. Dawn stopped and awaited his response as the familiar city smells and odors began to linger in the atmosphere. The loud whooshing of vessels in the skies above. She had picked a perfect time to come home. Mid-day.

To his statement Dawn could only help but laugh with exaggeration while already thinking ahead for her own response. “Jedi? You must be mistaken…I’m a traveler…Inner core to be exact. I look here and there for excavation sites and use them for research.“ she said as her index and middle finger would point towards the man slightly in attempt to sway his belief. “my apologies if I look familiar. It is a rather large galaxy indeed.“ she responded as she continued forward.

Continuing onward toward a checkpoint she saw a line forming for entry into the heart of the city. Grabbing her I.D. card and being prepared for a retinal scan she heard a beeping in her satchel. Almost forgetting about her diagnostics device in her satchel she pulls it out quickly and observes the screen. A compiled data is seen..computing the analysis of her robotic lower legs. All functions are normal and her legs needed no maintenance for the next eight hours. She was good to go. "Thank you D-Ano." She smiled as it would be obvious she was in communication with something from her fighter ship. Thinking of the aromas from familiar foods that filled her nose she awaited until her turn in line. Good thing it was moving along quickly. She overheard a group of individuals complaining ahead about not having the proper identification to enter the city capital. As she looked on she saw a youngling with a plush Wookiee doll. The girl started to whine and stomped her foot before beginning to tear. The two standing near her were attempting to comfort her. Dawn felt....indifferent for the little one. The innocense aura that surrounded the girl was something that she secretly craved for herself amongst other things. No matter though..She had to keep the focus on her own objectives..And after, she would leave the planet and did not plan to return.

Only one of her exists, and not many species even looked similar to her. A 6’11” draconian woman with beautiful flowing blue hair currently stood in line to enter the city with her hood up, so as to conceal herself. Getting hear was tricky, but the droid pilot to her ship thankfully had taken care of most of the protocols.

A new place to explore… kind of. One of Draco’s missions in the past had her sneak into the city of Coruscant and assassinate a Jedi. This was a success, but it had been years since she was last here, and hadn’t been discovered to have done it either.

Standing in the line to enter, she certainly looked like a tourist, staring in bewilderment at the cityscape and the bustling life all around her. Perhaps she was from some low life outer rim colony and this was the first time she’s been to the core world? Currently she was the person standing in front of Sulis, and with the Sith acolyte standing so close to her, she may easily be able to see through Draco trying to hide her power, and realize the woman in front of her was a rather powerful Sith herself

Taking note of other individuals in the line as it moved forward She saw the check-in patrol scanning individuals. She would be fifth in line as her eyes glared slightly at a tallish figure in front of her. Something was..different about this one indeed. The rather wide exterior under her hooded cloak made the difference. As she looked around once more and to the skyline in the distance she smiled and would utter loud enough so the draconian could hear.."It's a sight to behold...The beauty of this planet...So unique in itself. As beautiful as it is it is also ugly.". As her words were spoken forth, she adjusted her brown satchel while clearing her throat. In the event the woman did not hear her, she was prepared to use creative measures for communication.

“Yes… beautiful in the sense of achievements for the citizens of this galaxy… but ugly in how it had gotten here. I do not come here often, this being my… third time?”

She said, most of her missions that she had embarked upon in her past seemed to blend together with the monotony and torture under previous leadership. Though now that she was with House Io, she truly began to appreciate life and all it had to offer. She often found herself exploring and becoming more and more curious on the inner workings of machines and technology, as well as life itself. Coruscant was just another project to her, to see how city life works and how the bustle of people translates into productivity… as well as seeing what the city Had to offer in terms of raw materials, there was projects to complete after all.

As Sulis talked to her, she didn’t really pay them any mind, just mainly looked up at the city for a few more moments before turning to face her. Those piercing Amber eyes locking with Sulis’s to continue the conversation

“Why do these people wait in this line? Is there something we need to show to enter the city?”

"A new security protocol for this sector. Coruscant has been cracking down on contraband and in particular..illegal transportation..incoming and outgoing...Nothing to be concerned with..However..If you are not from this planet..It is to my understanding they have you registered into the system as an..well...alien..But then again..Aren't we all aliens to someone?" She would respond lowly with a stoic tone as the line inched forward. She then would see several protocol droids that were made of various components in the shape of a large crate with large disk-like heads passing by the line. Their two wheels..one on each side for rather expedient travel were half the size of the body mainframe. Making several noises and moving past the check point ...It was now Draco Miles Draco Miles who would be next. A standard armored guard of the city nodded as he held out the scanner. "Welcome to Coruscant. Docking bay South 2B. Identification please?" He would ask calmly as other guards were heard asking the same questions to other individuals in the separate lines.

“No tengo tarjeta verde, señor”

She said, in spanish this means ‘I do not have a green card, sir’ though most likely the guards did not speak Spanish, so she instead opted for a more typical approach for a Sith

“you scanned my card already, I’m free to pass”

She said with a wave of her hand over his face, using a mind trick on him and her powers for just a moment. Dawn-Sulis Dawn-Sulis could sense Draco was practically on the level of a master in the force. In reality, this was only for combat. She could kick the shit out of just about anyone, but ask her to do anything technical, and she’d be stumped. No alchemy for her just yet. The guard couldn’t really refuse her, so she got to pass with no issue. She’d have to work out the whole not having an ID thing later. Once she was passed the gate, she waited for Sulis to join her

The guard stood there in response from Draco, and would contemplate what he was told. Seeming hesitant at first he let her pass stating.."Card scanned. You..You may pass..." And with that, he lowered his scanner and pointed to let her through with ease. Seeing this notion made Dawn crack a smile..She knew exactly what rather than who Draco was....This was exciting to dawn as she was curious and intrigued to say the least. Respectably, or perhaps to keep a low profile, she would show her credentials as a registered resident of the planet. And with that, she was able to pass freely.

Continuing onward through the gate she as well as Draco would see the open markets and shops that would attract many on the ground level. The inner city was home to many..The wealthy..The poor and all in-between. Hundreds of billboard advertisements illuminated with different advertisements and the sounds of gliders would honk their horns traveling slowly into designated areas. Dawn would take a moment to observe her surroundings before looking into the distance at the skyscraper buildings in the distance. Her unit wasn't too far off..At least..That was where she once called HOME....She knew her mentor was watching from afar..Somehow someway..She was connected to him even though he was not there.

Draco smiled as Dawn-Sulis Dawn-Sulis walked through the gate. Once linked up once more, and staring around at her surroundings, she took in the city life and bustling citizens all trying to buy things in the market. It was enjoyable to watch! Similar to the reason as to why she came, but the Acolyte she met was much more of a find. She’d stick with her for now

“So, now that you know we are one in the same. Where to? And how do I get identification?”

She did note how Sulis focused on one building in particular, a sky scraper, and figured that was where she had business to attend to

Seeing Draco stay within arms reach of her she knew She was well aware of who she was. Keen minds as one if willing to let be. Dawn didn't mind considering it's always advantageous to have someone at your side. "Identification is rather easy...You fill out a data form at the registrars...Up to the left. I can accompany you if you wish. I'm rather familiar with the layout of the city. Although...I am here for other things.." She replied as the city grew louder from multiple individuals passing by them. It was high noon and many were looking to spend cred's they either had or shouldn't spend. Alleyways gave to more of the lesser fortunate as barrels and crates were used for makeshift canopies and tables for games commonly played.

“Mmmn… nah, too much work for me to care about for now. You seem anxious to get somewhere anyways, mind if I accompany you? My mission here is to… well, learn. Learn how the people go about their days and all that fun stuff, I’ve been kind of living under a rock for about 20 some odd years.”

She was sincere on that part, problem was said rock was on Mustafar and she did explore out of it… as a Sith assassin though, so she wasn’t paying too much attention. Recently she had come to House Io and had been recruited. Perhaps Dawn-Sulis Dawn-Sulis was someone who could tag along with her?

“So, what do you need assistance with? Or… well, more how can I help you”

Dawn would smile at Draco's response. Direct and to the point. Keeping her guard up however as she just met her, her demeanor turned into a questioning statement. "You are here to learn. What for? Why this planet amongst all others? We are in...Well...Possibly hostile territory depending on how you may view it...Where are you from?" She would adjust her strap while keeping her head low and continuing onward towards an intersection. Meanwhile, a billboard would advertise a homecoming to a trooper division that would be returning back to Coruscant soon.

“What better a place to learn about people than in the most popular city? I hail from Mustafar, so there’s not really a lot of people to talk to there, and what little you do run into are not that friendly. I came today mainly because I find it easier to learn about people when they aren’t dead”

She noted how the troopers looked and compared them to the guard she walked past at the entrance… very similar. It appears that the military also acted as a police force. Interesting. She followed behind Dawn-Sulis Dawn-Sulis as they walked, the hood of her cloak following a similar fashion in keeping her identity concealed

“what do you come for then? Since you ask me, I think it only fair you share as well”
