From the Ashes

The Sith Lord, looked down at the other Sith. The number of persona's hardly mattered to some, it was everything to others, though Vulkan having already concealed his fall from pretty much everyone but Darth Carach understood the need for obscurity on occasion. Sometimes it was better to keep people from looking at tags and determining the facts regardless of what they knew or did not know. "I have a couple of things in my possession that might interest you."

He didn't have them on him, that would be stupid and risky. He kept them on a stealth station kept above the galactic plane where no one in their right mind would be able to find them or in the Obsidian Citadel, he kept the other ones there for his apprentices to have access to. "I have the Holocron of Darth Vectivus. And the reason I suggest temporary loan is because I know you don't need it for very long, just as I am sure you no longer need the holocron of Darth Bane." Haggling was good for business, sharing knowledge was terrible, especially in an attempt to gain serious knowledge for himself. Vulkan liked this little dance they had going.

Carach inclined his head slightly as he listened to Draco's reasoning. And honestly there was nothing at fault there - of course, there was nothing wrong with adding another pebble to the pile and Vectivus' Holocron would have been a fine pebble indeed, but at the end of the day... why bother? What did it matter to him who had the shiny holocron on his desk?

"Very well then, Lord Vulkan." the Sith would nod finally. "Honestly, I have learned all I needed from the Bane Holocron. Though... you should know that some portions of the holocron are no longer accessible. There are things that no one should be aware of."

Things like the Thought Bomb. Which could be turned against them, easily. Just as Bane had done to the Brotherhood of Darkness.

"More specifically the obscure Sith technique called the Thought Bomb. If this changes things for you, then I'd understand." he shot him a look, but Vereen simply nodded his affirmation. He didn't care about some stupid superweapon that killed everyone including the casters of it in the first place.

"Very well then. The loan of the Vectivus Holocron... and a peek into any other material you might gain in the future, yes? Then the Bane Holocron is yours."

They made the exchange the very next day and all was well in the Galaxy of Pebbles and Thrones.
