Ashin Cardé Varanin
| Eldritch Voices
He felt the sudden shift of weight on his left shoulder as he fought on. He glanced to his left when he found the opportunity to do so and saw Ashin leaning against the wall, watching him. The creatures did not attack her for some reason. They were focusing on him instead. <How’d you…> he thought to himself in surprise, but his train of thought was interrupted by a blaster bolt that struck his helmet, reminding him he was still in combat. There were two Sithspawn’s left locking him in melee, with about half a dozen Sithspawn engaging him with their blasters. He punched the one to his left square in the face, breaking its guard. He forced it to lean towards him with his hands and thrusted his knee into the creature’s diaphragm. It growled in pain as the blow landed on it. He put his left arm under the creature’s head, with his right arm clutching its back, forcing it to stay in place still leaned down as he tightened and stretched its neck. The creature’s neck gave out a sickening crack as its neck broke. The creature’s muscles loosened as it died. He flung the body at the Sithspawn at the back to knock them down as he spun around once before he threw the body at them. He knocked down three of them momentarily. He was about to take care of the last Sithspawn locking him in melee as he raised his hatchet for to deliver a blow, but he heard Ashin’s voice from his left. As she did so, he saw the creatures frightened. The very creatures that attacked him relentlessly were backing up in fear! [“WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU’RE GOING!?”] he exclaimed in rage, with the thrill of combat still in his veins. His voice boomed in the sewers, amplifying in its intensity as his voice travelled in the sewers. He threw his hatchet at the closest Sithspawn in a swift action. The cutting edge of his hatchet was buried into the creature’s back with a meaty thud after he threw it, knocking the creature to the floor face down. It was impaired and it desperately tried to crawl away from the scene. He was not having any of it as he approached the creature, stomping its head with his left feet to kill it. Its blood spew to the sides and some upwards as he stomped it. He was mostly covered in their blood now.
He started to cool down slightly after the last kill as he retrieved the hatchet from the Sithspawn’s body. Somehow, whatever Ashin said in that alien language scared away the Sithspawns. They had run away in fear. He turned to look at Ashin. He saw her hands were no longer tied with zip-ties. She was no longer tied to his rope as well. However, she certainly cleared his suspicions whether she was a Sith Lord or not. The question in his mind was what would unfold now.
His muscles tensed up as he expected her to attack him. His blood was running hot with adrenaline. His heart was beating rapidly, but not out of fear. He was still under the thrill of combat. He rested his left hand on his left Kama holster, with his right hand firmly gripping his bloody hatchet as he looked at Ashin.
