Is there a discussion thread about the Objectives since my limited understanding of Rebellions is that they centre around them (unlike Dominions which appear to be about a prerequisite number of posts).

What I'm getting as is this - should we avoid interfering with them or not?

Regardless, I'll be sure to add to the 150 even if there is no plan to Rebellion :)

Awesome sauce I'm excited to see how the new rules apply in all this!

Well strategically this is a huge threat to the First Order that should not be at all taken lightly.
Since Mr Voidstalker has so graciously OOC let us know that they are aiming for a Tier 3 that means that whole dang hex!

So not only committing ourselves to undermining IC thwarting the development of the world but also doing as much damage prior to the Rebellion stage of things will ideally give us some advantages.

Ideally we should do whatever we can to establish a presence to prevent these territorial gain IC.

As a writer I see this as a huge opportunity to establish precedence for future endeavors in this region of space!

My limited and incomplete understanding of the rules is that a Rebellion is based upon the starting objectives. It is for the rebellion to demonstrate they have undermined them sufficiently to say the rebellion was a success.

From memory, one of the objectives is to eliminate creatures. If the Dominion achieves this, I'm not sure how we would counter it. So well crafted objectives limit the opportunity to rebel - i.e. If they're about blowing X up, and it's done, then a rebellion will struggle to overturn that action.

I'm still up for both helping and a potential rebellion - this for me is about a story, not a board game (or even map game), so winning and losing are immaterial.

I don't think they need to be about the objectives, that was just a notion for Dromund.

I think if we hit 150 someone will declare rebellion and we'll just work it out.

Won't be like an invasion and complex terms, but more of a "We're a rebellion and we're going to do x, y, and Z to stop you, that sound cool?"

So only a Minor can declare a rebellion? I like that rule to help minors but in the same thought, if a Minor went Major (forgive me if I'm not making sense, I'm still figuring things out) wouldn't that put a bullseye on them from an established Major.

In another thought, wouldn't it make more sens if two Major rival factions went head to head through a rebellion, for story and activity of members? Again, new and I'm not a rule breaker.
