I am posting late, but I told the GA in their forums (they were asking what planets to pick) that it is a dick move to pick Eriadu. I don't know if they're planning to continue with this (I read somewhere that they have picked Sluis Van and Dorvalla).
It is clear that the First Order- if it is to make it as a faction- will be competing with the Galactic Alliance for this region in the galaxy. Such is the fallout effect of the Omega Protectorate dissolving.
I'm surprised nobody has pointed this out yet, but the One Sith's first act as a major faction was to usurp Coruscant away from the Galactic Republic and make it their capital world. They haven't looked back since. There are many members of the Chaos community that is just itching for a genuine imperial faction to make it and stay there.
With the right planning and recruitment strategy, we could pull off another Battle of Coruscant.
