- Military Base Name: Lazarus Station
- Classification: Naval Station
- Location: Panatha (Debries Field)
- Affiliation: Galactic Alliance
- Population: Heavy
- Demographics: Primarily Military [70%] with minor Civilian presence [30%]
- Accessibility: Easily accessible, Public Knowledge, Controlled Access.
- Description: A cluster of planetary debris from the destruction of Panatha orbiting the former moon, now dwarf planet, of Plemvirr. Thanks to the high metallic content of the debris, they provide excellent protection from cosmic radiation, and so most of the buildings are dug directly out of the rocks and connected by umbilicals. Each chunk has a large number of thrusters hooked into a computer network to keep them from drifting apart or into each other.
- Naval Section "The Docks": The largest of the branch-specific chunks, the Naval Section of Lazarus Station has docking for up to the 5,000-meter Starhawks. Though usually ships are not docked in any of the slipways for long periods, often just orbiting unless undergoing repairs or taking on crew and supplies.
- Marine Section "The Barracks": The middle child of the three sibling bases, what makes the Marine Base special is the number of smaller facilities directly connected to it. Each smaller asteroid contains equipment packages assembled for rapid deployment, allowing marines to have boots on the ground extremely quickly as the regular army prepares to deploy from Corellia and other bases farther away.
- Starfighter Section "The Hangers": Though the smallest of the rocks assigned as a primary base for the military branches, the section given over to Starfighter Command has the most surface installations to allow for the rapid launch and recovery of starfighter squadrons. Deeper into the asteroid is a labyrinth of machine shops and maintenance facilities, so that despite the large number of Starfighters assigned to Lazarus Station, it maintains one of the highest percentages of combat-ready craft among all GADF Starfighter bases.
- Zero G Training Range "The Rock": Built on one of the rare asteroids that was not part of Panatha, the Zero G Training Range was a former asteroid mining outpost that got caught in a similar orbit to the debris used to assemble Lazarus Station. Rather than try to turn the facilities to military use, they were converted to a Zero G training ground. Marines and Naval forces primarily use them to simulate boarding actions and emergencies respectively.
- Civilian Section "The Canyon": Nicknamed "The Canyon" thanks to it being built into a natural crevice in the rock, the civilian section of the base provides housing for families of service members. It also contains non-military support services and non-standard recreation facilities for service members on short-term leave who can't travel into the more cosmopolitan sections of the galaxy. This section is built into the largest piece of debris and acts as a logistics hub for incoming shipping, and the only part of the station where non-military traffic is permitted to land.
High: Though the nature of the Base prohibits fixed defences such as turret emplacements, missing may result in damage to the base or umbilicals. By containing large forces from three branches of the GADF (Navy, Marines, and Starfighter Command) it makes any assault on the station a difficult and costly affair. Incomming vessels not assigned to one of the military branches are required to answer to fleet or starfighter pickets before approaching the station, and then only permitted to land on the central hub.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Each of the forces has a large chunk of debris dedicated to its exclusive use, connected to the main rock, which acts as a logistical hub and contains the civilian sections of the station. A large number of smaller asteroids are also connected via umbilicals for specialized uses, which are usually hazardous. The umbilicals and thrusters make it easy to isolate a facility from the rest of the station in the event of an emergency and facilitate rescue via escape pods and shuttles.
