Galactic Alliance: Salvage and Explore (Newbies!)

"Grrrr.. Dammit!" Jareb growled as loudly as he dared. Here in the heat of the moment it made tactical sense to have a second man with a weapon, but it still went against his gut. Then again, his gut was absolutely churning with fear at the moment, so why did he have to listen to it anyway?

"Take it." He slapped the blaster mournfully into the man's hand. "But you're going to walk in front of me."

Jareb sat there in the darkness for a moment before remembering the imp's question. "Oh, and no I haven't seen them either. Judging by that lightsaber though, they're close. I'll feel a lot safer with a Jedi by my side." He doubted the man would agree with him, being Imperial. Jedi were probably the boogeymen who kept the little fascists awake at night.

Andanian resisted his urge to jump for joy when the man gave him his blaster back. As much as he wouldn't have minded clocking him over the head with his pipe and taking it off his unconscious body, that wouldn't look very good to the others. As it was, it appeared to him that he was on thin ice, and had to make a more positive impression of himself upon the group of rebels to gain their trust. They may even supply him with work if he played his pazaak cards right.

He still heaved a sigh when [member="Jareb Kaine"] set his revolver back into his hand, nodding, "Thank you. I'll be sure to show you i'm not planning to shoot you today." With that, he held it tightly with his finger close to the trigger. Now that he was properly armed, his imperial battlemind from the Academy kicked in and he began to think tactically. Of course, he was a flunk student, so he wasn't exactly a tactical genius, but he understood the stances to take, the proper way to place your feet on the floor to make the least amount of sound possible as to not give your position away, and how to properly operate most civilized blasters in the galaxy.

He waved a hand at his new rebel friend, who clearly still didn't trust him, "I guess we'll follow the sound, then. I'd rather a peace-loving Jedi with a lightsaber stand close to me than one of those hounds." In truth, Andanian never understood the hate toward Jedi. All he really knew what that they were the arch-enemies of the Sith, of whom he was ready to work for, so by nature 'Jedi' meant enemy. However, he also heard rumors that the Sith didn't know what they were talking about when they called the Jedi evil, that most of that was just propoganda. The fact that the mirialan jedi didn't blow his brains out a moment ago was already a good indication that maybe Jedi weren't all bad, either.

With that, Andanian started slowly creeping close to the wall, taking silent steps like he learned at imperial academy, and poking his head around the corner, waving at Kaine to show him the corner was clear. However, he did point to the next corner at the end of the hallway, where a faint, violet light could be seen and the lightsaber humming had gotten more intense.
