Galactic Enemies: The Bank Job

CITADEL STATION, TELOS IV
Myles Vylumnar, 'The Stargazer'
Citadel Station always remained one of the galaxy's largest orbital hubs since its construction as a part of the Restoration project some millennia ago. Even after the reconstruction of Telos IV, Citadel station survived well into the Clone Wars and beyond. It had even survived the Telosion Civil War. Although its activity took a dip after the four-hundred year darkness, Citadel Station has maintained itself throughout the millennia.
Myles awaited his contact within one of the station's many housing units. They were private enough and there was usually little security in the residential sectors. His ship, The Stargazer, was not far off in the nearby docking bay. It'd serve as one of the getaway vehicles for what he had planned. His new contact, [member="Thalira Kiing"], was relatively fresh in the criminal community. Myles had given her information to meet him at residential B-23, and to dock her ship at Port 11 of Hangar B-West, which was right next to his. With his extensive amount of connections throughout the criminal underworld, Myles could have easily picked a more experienced accomplice to aid him in this job. However, he realized that this job should be simple enough to pull off with little assistance. If Thalira were to be killed in action, it only meant a full cut for Myles, meaning she was just another expendable. But maybe, if she did survive, he would have found a valuable partner for many criminal activities to come and a trusted associate.
There was a small briefing beforehand between Myles and Thalira. He gave her the basic info: The plan was to slice into the B-level banking sector's security systems and disable them. Simultaneously, they'd cut off the sector's emergency power supply. The duo would have a small twenty-minute window to get in and get out of the bank vaults. Of course, security would be a problem they'd hopefully be able to deal with stealthily. This covered most of the details, but there was still more to discuss once Myles had met with his new associate.
Outside of residential B-23, the halls were traversed by Ithorians, Rodians, and Humans alike. Myles waited inside with a duffel bag of equipment. He wore casual clothing underneath his signature brown leather jacket. As he finished preparations, the only thing left to do was wait.

Thalira was sitting on the pilot seat in her YT-2400, the Monarch, staring into the viewport. All she could see was the blue blur of hyperspace. Suddenly a recording of Thalira's own voice sounded throughout the ship. "Exiting hyperspace in ten minutes." The recording activated since Thalira had set the ship was on auto-pilot when she entered hyperspace. Her destination was the Telos system where she was going to do a bank heist with Myles Vylumnar, a man she met through a mutual contact. The job didn't sound that difficult to a skilled woman like Thalira, but things could always go wrong.

Ten minutes passed and the ship jumped out of hyperspace just several kilometers away from Telos IV's orbit. Thalira deactivated the auto pilot on her ship and took control, flying down to Citadel Station. She received a hail from the station and immediately answered it. A man started speaking. "This is Citadel Station, please state your business." Thalira pressed a button to allow the man on the other side to hear her. "Thalira Kiing here, captain of the Monarch. Requesting docking at Hangar B-West Port 11" A few moments of silence went by before the man responded. "Yes, you have Port 11 of Hangar B-West reserved for the day. You are authorized to land. Enjoy your stay at Citadel Station, and if you need any-" Thalira hit a button to mute the comms. "Not interested, buddy."

Thalira flew the Monarch down to Hangar B-West, and it only took a moment to spot Port 11. She slowly landed the ship into the docking bay, making sure not to cause a problem just yet. Thalira got up from her seat and headed to the exit of the ship. When she got there she lowered the ramp with the click of a button on the wall, and she stepped out into the docking bay. All Thalira took with her was the clothing she wore -which consisted of a red full body-suit, a black cropped leather jacket, black knee-high leather boots, and a utility belt- and her datapad.

There was a lone woman dressed in a uniform that spoke Citadel Station worker. She approached Thalira with one of the fakest smiles ever. "Hello, my name is Lizzy Miransi, and I am here to help you navigate your way through Citadel Station. Is there a specific place you wish to go, or are you just vacationing?" Thalira hated having to talk to people who obviously had to say the same thing over and over again, and she just wanted to get to the meeting with Myles, so she tried to charismatically get the info she needed from Lizzy as fast as she could. "Hey Lizzy, listen, I don't want to keep you here forever, so we can do this fast. I'm trying to get to Residential B-23, and I would really appreciate it if you just showed me where that is on my datapad, and I can do the rest on my own." Thalira held up her datapad to the woman, putting on a convince-able smile. "Sure, I can show you that." Lizzy replied as she input a few things into datapad. After a few moments Thalira had the information she needed, so she thanked Lizzy and went on her way.

It took a while to traverse through Citadel Station to the residential area, but Thalira managed to do it without any problems, and after a few signs she found the complex she was supposed to meet her contact at. She took a few turns and before she knew it she was at B-23, the meeting place. She wasn't going to waste any time; she clicked a buzzer on the wall next to the door which would sound a few beeps in the room.

[member="Myles Vylumnar"]

Myles was stuffing a DLT-20A longblaster into a duffel bag when he heard a sequence of beeps coming from the door. He dropped the bag onto the bed and walked over to open up. He pressed a button which slid open the door and he was met with an older woman. On her end, she'd see a surprisingly young face, which appeared to be in his early twenties or perhaps even younger.

"Thalira- Good, you're here. Let's not waste time."

His greeting was brief. Myles returned to the duffel bag, which had already been stuffed with one DLT-20A longblaster, some slicing tools, and a spare holdout blaster. On the bed was another rifle, which looked like a non-standard issue F-11D. There was also a bundle of six explosives. While he didn't explain what sort of explosives they were, they looked like the kind you could only find on the black market. He stuffed every item into the duffel bag and zipped it up.

"Okay, down to business."

Myles plugged in some sort of hard drive into the room's terminal. It displayed a complete layout of the banking sector.

"Patrols at the security room swap in about fifteen minutes. There's a security terminal just outside the door. Once patrols swap, you'll have a few seconds to slice into their systems and disable everything- and I mean everything. Meanwhile, I'll be waiting in the generator room to disable the emergency power before it relays. That way, they won't be able to find out you were ever in their system."

He spoke fast, and would occasionally give her a look saying 'You following me so far?'. Myles dug into the duffel bag, pulling out a pair of visors. He placed one around his neck and held the other one out to [member="Thalira Kiing"].

"Here, put this on when it goes dark. Alright... After that, we'll meet back up in front of the bank. Once we take out the security there, we'll be able to get our equipment through the metal detectors. Since all the power will be cut off, the only thing stopping us from getting inside the vault is a big metal door... I've got a few military-grade explosives that should take care of that. From there, I've got two spare bags that should be tucked away somewhere. We get to our ships, and we get away. We'll regroup on Nar Shaddaa after that. Oh, and we'll probably have about twenty minutes to do all that before they get the power back up. Understood?"

His words were quick. The guy almost seemed a little out of breath after finishing the briefing. He slung the duffel bag over his shoulder and took a deep breath. As long-winded as the plan may have seemed, it was simple enough to appear like an easy job. Or, at least relatively easy. The security in level-B was known to be a bit lackluster, since the station's forces were mainly piled into priority levels such as level-A. He intended for this job to be quick and stealthy, in and out.

"Okay... You ready?"

As the door slid open Thalira was met with the young man that was Myles Vylumnar. He was definitely young, but if he could pull off the heist Thalira would only have respect for him. The introductions were extremely short, and Thalira liked that. She liked getting down to business.
Thalira watched as Myles fiddled with some equipment. All Thalira brought was a datapad and some tools on her belt, and that was all she needed. If Myles had weaponry then he would be able to take care of the dirty work if anything went south. It was best that Thalira didn't have and guns or anything as she would probably end up shooting Myles. Or herself, and that would be bad.

Thalira listened as Myles went over the plan. They'd already spoke about the general plan, but now he was speaking about the more finer details of the heist. She took mental notes of some things as she listened to the man quickly explain everything. 'This kid is prepared, I'll give him that.'

When Myles held out the visor Thalira took it as she listened to his explanation of why they would need them. She hung it around her neck, like Myles did, then she positioned both her hair and the color of her jacket to conceal the visor. It was well hidden, but also accessible so that she could put it on at a moments notice.
As Myles finished his little briefing, Thalira was impressed with it. It was a well thought out heist, and it told her that this young man had lots of experience under his belt, young as it may be. "I'm ready," Thalira told Myles. "And if you're as good at heisting as you are planning one, this will go just fine."

[member="Myles Vylumnar"]

"Don't always be so sure... Okay, let's go. I'll meet you in front of the bank. Be careful out there."

He gave her a nod before quickly heading out through the doors. While he retained a calm and collected exterior, he could only be so brave. He trotted along the walkways as people walked past him. He took another deep breath, mentally reassuring himself and recollecting his focus. For a brief moment, it was as if he was all alone in the hall. He isolated himself from reality and continued onward. As he neared the end of the hall, he felt himself getting slightly weaker. It was at that moment when he'd bumped into an Ithorian stranger who yelled at him in another language. Myles snapped back into reality as crowds of people zoomed past him.

He finally made his way down a set of stairs which led to a door. Before him was another door which was locked by a security terminal. He took a look around him for a moment. Luckily, there were no security cameras within the flight of stairs. If he was on time, then-

*WHOOSH!*

The door slid open. Myles was faced with one of the engineers- a Mon Calamari male. 'Perfect', he thought. Before the engineer was able to speak, Myles brought one of his hands to cover the Calamari's mouth and used his other to grab him from behind the neck. He spun around, slamming the poor man's skull into the railing of the stairs. A loud 'bink!' could be heard, but most of the workers just dismissed it as the door slid shut.

His victim fell to the ground, knocked unconscious. It took him about five minutes to rob him of his clothing and ID card, stuffing his own clothes into the duffel bag. After stashing the body underneath the staircase, Myles pulled out a silenced K-16 Bryar pistol and concealed it under his shirt. He was now disguised as one of the engineers working in the generator room. He used the keycard to enter the generator room. While he got a few odd looks, most assumed that he 'must be the new guy'.

Myles tried his best to remain inconspicuous as he waited for [member="Thalira Kiing"] to slice into the sector's systems. He stood just a few feet away from the power switch. At any moment, he was ready to dash to the switch and flip it off. Then, he'd make a beeline out of there before anyone could notice him. If Thalira's timing was as good as his, the initial phase of the plan would be complete. Hopefully she didn't run into any trouble on the way there.

Thalira left the room right after Myles, but going in a slightly different direction. She was heading for a side entrance to the bank that would put her closer to the terminal she had to hack into. At first she was taking public routes, but soon she had to turn into a private alley conspicuously. There was a locked door that only unlocked with a keycard, so Thalira used on of her tools to pry the box off to reveal a bunch of wires. She cut a few with another tool, then connected a specific combo and the door slid open. She entered the building, and she closed the door the same way she opened it.

Finding herself in a long hallway with turns, Thalira started walking through them, making sure to look around the corner for guard patrols. To her luck, Thalira didn't run into any patrols in those halls. They must have been in a different hall in those moments. Thalira didn't waste anytime making her way to the target terminal, and she even spotted a group of guards heading in the same direction as her, but from a different starting point. Thalira made sure to move faster than them so she would reach the security room first.

Thalira was at a corner hall, ready to turn it to arrive directly at the security room. She waited there, watching the guards at the door, waiting for them to leave. After a few minutes one of the guards told the other that it was time for them to be relieved, so they walked off in the opposite direction that Thalira was in. As they turned their backs Thalira passed them immediately, having the security terminal all to herself, but only for a brief moment. In that moment nothing else mattered except for hacking into the terminal. She started clicking buttons, and it only took a moment until the terminal asked for a passcode. She inserted a sequence of numbers and letters that opened up a small admin box on the screen, and soon enough she found a code hidden in a wall of text that she used to unlock the terminal completely.

Thalira was almost ready to shut down all power in the bank when she heard the new guard approaching in the halls. Time was running out, and if she didn't hurry up she would be caught. She quickly put in a few commands to make some high-power costing systems to overload, messing up the whole power system. Suddenly, everything was dark, and the approaching guards sped up, but Thalira entered the now opened security room, hiding behind a desk to not be caught. She put on the visor and waited there. If the room remained dark, that meant Myles shut off the emergency power. If he wouldn't be able to do that for whatever reason, Thalira would be in big trouble.

[member="Myles Vylumnar"]

Suddenly, the entire sect was shrouded in darkness.

Myles felt a sigh of relief. His companion had done her part perfectly, and now it was his turn. He dashed to the control panel and input a few commands. It was running on emergency power, which meant that at any moment the lights could switch back on. Normally, the terminal would ask him for admin approval. It was a good thing that [member="Thalira Kiing"] managed to disable the main power, so everything from here on out was just analog. The lever next to him was unlocked, and he shut everything down just as the lights started to flicker.

Two flickers. That was all that happened before the entire level was completely dead. Myles flipped on the visor and sprinted out of the room. Mumbles of confusion began to quiet. But just as he left the room, he realized he was missing something. Oh, right! He turned and pulled out his silenced blaster. Luckily, no one noticed since the entire place was completely black. He fired a shot at the control panel so no one would be able to turn everything back on.

The visor that the two had equipped were also fitted with comms that were linked only with each other. That way, no one could tune into their frequency and listen to all the chatter. Myles pressed a button on the side of the visor near his ear.

"T, come in. Where are you?"

He reached the bank entrance which was being blocked off by a pair of confused guards. Before they were able to notice him, he backed into a corner. The hallway was being closed off for security purposes, just as Myles had figured. Crowds of confused and distraught citizens piled up in front of another pair of security guards who kept on reassuring them that everything was under control. Of course, nothing was under control.

Myles waited for Thalira to arrive. She'd have to push through the crowds of people down the hall, and somehow get past the security guards blocking them off. However, he had a gut feeling that they, too, were equipped with night vision. He remained hidden and looked around, noticing an air vent in the ceiling. It was right in front of the guards, so her arrival would have to be swift.

"Wait, we're gonna have to improvise. The layout should be connected to your wristlink, can you find an air vent?" he whispered into his comms. He figured that she'd know what he was talking about.

Myles looked down at his own wristlink. Eighteen minutes.

Thalira waited in the dark for a few seconds that felt like minutes. Then the lights flickered, but they stayed off in the end. Stage one was complete, stage two just began. Thalira had to get out of the security room, but that was going to be difficult. As she thought about how to get out, she heard Myles in the visor. When he asked about air vents, Thalira immediately started looking for one in the room. Luckily she found one that was blocked by a cart.

Thalira moved the cart over, but it made a noise louder than she would've liked. "Is someone in there?" A guard called out from the hallway. One of them left when the power went out, but this one stayed, and he was coming into the room with a flashlight. Thalira would be caught if she didn't think of a way out. She got back behind the desk she was hiding at a few moments ago. The guard walked up to the cart and examined it, shining his light at it. Thalira grabbed a tool that was hanging from her belt, and slowly crept up behind the guard. She slowly raised the tool above the guards head, and swiftly brought it down to his head. With a loud thud the guard fell over, unconscious.

After dragging the unconscious guard to the corner of the security room, Thalira pried the air vent open with a tool, and crawled inside. "Myles, I'm on my way." Thalira whispered just loud enough for her partner to hear on his side. She watched her wristlink, making sure to go in the direction that Myles was in. After a few minutes she saw on the wristlink that she had reached her destination, and she could even visibly see the air vent she would be exiting from. She'd easily be able to get the thing open, but not inconspicuously without some help. "I'm here. I wont be getting out of here without being noticed. Can you cause a distraction or something?"

[member="Myles Vylumnar"]

"I'm on it."

He looked out from his corner, seeing [member="Thalira Kiing"] peering out from the vents above. He thought for a moment, planning on what his next course of action should be. He considered the possibilities until he finally came up with something. Myles realized that he was in disguise, so he'd use it to his advantage.

"Guards! Guards!" he called out, running out from his hiding spot. The two guards turn their heads.

"Hey! You- Aren't you supposed to be working on the generator or fixing the elevators or something? And what's with the power?"

"You needa see this! Right now! There's something really, really wrong..." he continued. He tried to be as vague as possible, but acted as if something were seriously happening. His skill as a con-artist often proved to be quite handy in these situations. One of the guards let out a sigh.

"I'll go check it out. I'll call it in if something's up." said the guard. He left his post to follow Myles, who led him around the corner. As soon as they turned, a loud bang could be heard from skull crashing against wall.

"What the..."

The other guard soon followed. A few seconds of silence passed, and another bang could be heard. Myles dragged the two bodies off into another corner and dusted himself off. Blood stained the wall, which also had a dent in it after Myles smashed to faces into it.

"Coast is clear."

Thalira watched Myles take care of the guards through the vent. Once it was all clear, she swiftly opened up the vent and jumped down, almost falling over as she landed. She brushed herself off and looked at Myles. "We should get out of here before the other guards inevitably come over here." Although they were making good progress, the two were running out of time to finish the heist. If the rest didn't go as planned, they could get caught, and Thalira wasn't ready to let that happen.

[member="Myles Vylumnar"]

TEN MINUTES REMAINING

Myles wasted little time after meeting back up with [member="Thalira Kiing"]. The duo entered the bank, which was rather small compared to others. He remembered that the vault was at the end of the hall. They pushed through the handful of people in the waiting area, who could barely see Myles and Thalira through the shroud of darkness.

"Security. Nothing to see here."

Myles continued on down to the vault, which was normally protected by a ray shield and a security terminal, though those had been since shut down due to the outage. He unzipped the duffel bag and dug through it. After pulling out two more duffel bags neatly folded, he handed one to Thalira and kept the other for himself. After more rummaging, he tossed Thalira the F-11D he packed earlier and equipped himself with his own personal DLT-20A.

"Get ready. There's no turning back after this."

He placed an explosive on each corner of the vault door and another on the center for good measure. This left one remaining explosive just in case. After a few seconds, the detonation could probably be heard throughout the entire level. The place shook briefly as the vault door was blasted straight into the vault. Inside, the walls were lined with lockers that required keys to open, but that wasn't what they were here for. There were piles of credits stacked around in the vault.

Without saying a word, he scurried inside and began filling his two duffel bags with as much credits he could carry. They had only a minute before security arrived at their location, and six more minutes before the entire level was set on lockdown.

When Myles gave Thalira the F-11D she hooked it onto her belt. She was only going to use it if she had no other choice. As Myles placed the explosives, Thalira looked around, making sure nobody came in. When the explosives blew up, Thalira followed Myles into the room, then she started dumping stacks of credits in her duffel bag. She wouldn't over-stuff it to the point that she wouldn't be able to even carry it, but she would at least get enough to just about fill up the bag. "Security'll be here soon." Thalira said to Myles as she put another stack of credits in the bag. She was bad at personal combat, but she would do whatever she had to to get away with the money they were collecting.

[member="Myles Vylumnar"]

It just so happened that she jinxed it. A pair of security guards made way to their position after hearing the explosion. More were sure to follow. After filling up his duffel bags as much as he could, Myles scrambled to cover behind a wall as blaster bolts struck the ground where he was just a second before. He had a heavy load to carry, but he was determined to push through. His rifle peaked out from the corner before he fired a volley of shots to take out the security guards down the hall, though it appeared that one of his bolts struck a civilian. Hopefully Thalira wasn't too morally just. Whatever she was lacking in combat, Myles would make up for it.

"Get to the ship!"

He tried his best to run out, lumbering with two sacks of credits at his sides. The strain on his shoulders and back was taking a toll on him, but it'd all be over soon. Once they reached the end of the hallway, they had to push through the crowds of confused civilians. After looking back, Myles noticed another group of security guards on their tail. Since he was taller than most, he was able to peak above the crowds and notice the other group of security guards headed right for them.

Then, the power came back on. The bright light blinded Myles for a brief second. He pulled the visor off his face as he continued pushing through the crowds. He knew that the security guards wouldn't open fire until the coast was clear. It was too risky for them to hit an innocent. However, the docking bay in the distance seemed to be devoid of life.

[member="Thalira Kiing"]

Thalira had her bag just about half-filled when the guards showed up. She immediately took cover with the bag until Myles took out the guards. Thalira followed Myles out of the vault, with the bag over her shoulder. And though the bag wasn't even full, she struggled with it almost as much as Myles struggled with two full ones. She almost fell over a few times, but she was lucky enough to not to. As the two ran with the bags of stolen credits, Thalira just focused on Myles, making sure to not lose him in the crowd of confused civilians. And perhaps they were starting to have some good luck, as the docking bays were seemingly empty. She hoped they were in for good luck.

[member="Myles Vylumnar"]

Eventually, Myles reached the end of the crowds and the beginning of the spaceport. He turned and looked for [member="Thalira Kiing"] in the sea of people, spotting her nearby as she made her way toward him.

"Hold it!"

Behind him, two security officers held their blasters raised toward Myles. He spun around, lifting his arms up in surrender. Once he realized they weren't gonna bother arresting him after he'd already killed four or five people, he had to think fast. His arms reached out and grabbed a civilian. He threw them in front of them as they caught the blaster bolt which was aimed for Myles. The lifeless Ithorian corpse collapsed to the ground, and in a moment of shock everyone nearby froze wide-eyed. Quickly, he lifted his rifle and shot down the two officers as Thalira showed up beside him. He simply gave her a look.

"Uh... W-we need to go, now!"

A holographic image appeared somewhere near the second floor. It displayed two images: Myles and Thalira. Underneath them said, "Devin E'zeli" and "Sarina Mann". He knew it'd come in handy to use aliases for both of them when he checked into the residentials. Down the hall was an entire squad of armed security officers. On the ceiling above was a mounted security turret, aimed directly at the two.

When Thalira saw the guards and the turret, she quickly thought up a plan. In a swift movement, she got behind Myles and grabbed the F11-D from her belt with her right hand, dropping the duffel bag of credits. "Follow my lead." She whispered into Myles' ear as she pressed the blaster to his back. "It's about time you guys showed up!" Thalira called out to the security officers as she nudged Myles to walk forwards. With her left hand, she stealthily started fiddling with her wristlink, trying to find a wireless connection to the bank. Once she found one, it was easy to connect since she still remembered the admin password she used for the security terminal earlier. She managed to find a list of security turrets, and she shut them all down. Now all that was left to get rid of was the officers.

The Security Officers slowly approached Myles and Thalira, blasters raised and ready. "Will you give me a hand with this guy already?" Thalira shouted to the officers as they reluctantly closed the gap between them slowly. "I'm Special Agent Tiaba Doneeta with Citadel Station Security. Our underground network found out Mister E'zeli here was planning a heist, so I was sent in undercover to get close to him. So we can chat some more when this criminal is in the precinct. You two, get over here." She pointed at two of the Officers with her left hand, and they started walking faster than the others. In a few moments, they were close enough for the next part of Thalira's plan. Quickly, she spun around Myles to the left, shooting one of the Security Officers point blank in the chest. Before he fell down she grabbed him and held him in front of her, and shot the second Officer point blank. Using the lifeless body she held as a shield, she started taking more shots at the other Security Officers, though she couldn't seem to hit them with the distance between them.

[member="Myles Vylumnar"]

"What the-"

In a split second he was being grabbed without even realizing it. He was almost about to fight back before he realized it was [member="Thalira Kiing"]'s arm which was wrapped around his neck. Tossing his weapon off to the side, Myles threw his hands up and simply hoped he wouldn't be used as a meat shield. Before long, she had taken down two of the officers with impressive swiftness. Myles was thrown off to the side and swapped out for one of the guards. Quickly, he staggered forward to pick up his blaster rifle and scrambled into cover behind a potted plant.

"Would be pretty cool if you took control over those security turrets right about now!"

He yelled out to her from cover as he pointed toward another squad of guards closing in behind them. Blaster fire flew over his head. What little cover he had was being ripped apart by bolt after bolt, slowly leaving him exposed. Luckily, he he'd kept a spare explosive in the bag. Rummaging through the thousands of credits stuffed inside, he pulled out one of the explosives and chucked it over at the security officers blocking their path.

"Always keep a spare..."

*BOOM!*

Fire and ruin was left in the explosion's wake. Myles dashed through toward his ship. They had little time before emergency lockdown was in place. Freedom was only a few steps away.

"Get to your ship! I'll meet you on Nar Shaddaa! Hack into the turrets if you need to!"

He hustled through with 50 pounds of credits on either side, making his way to his own ship before the doors closed behind him. Hopefuly Thalira would be able to escape on her own. Myles had to unfortunately run for it. With the weight he was carrying, he couldn't risk staying any longer.

Staying in cover behind the lifeless security officer she held in front of her, Thalira continued to blindly fire at the other officers as she watched Myles also take action. Copying Myles, Thalira slowly made her way to a potted plant on the opposite side of the room. She still held on to the lifeless officer for extra cover, and combined the the potted plant, it was enough to block any incoming blaster fire.

After Myles made his explosive exit, a daring officer dashed for the duffel bag Thalira had previously dropped. Not wanting to lose the money she dropped the dead security officer and ran over to the duffel bag. The officer made it there first, and as he picked up the bag Thalira got close enough and shot a barrage of blaster bolts at him just a meter away. With the close range she was able to get at least a few shots on him, and it was enough for him to drop down lifeless. Then she quickly grabbed the bag and started to run for the hangar where her ship was docked.

Thalira managed to make it to her ship before any of the remaining security officers could get an shots on her, and she immediately entered it and locked it up. Dropping the heavy bag of credits, she rushed to the cockpit and started it up. Within a minute she was flying out of the hangar, but enough time passed that there were turrets outside of the hangar, ready and waiting for any ships to fly out. Being caught off guard, Thalira's YT-2400 was hit with a few shots, but she immediately sped a bit up then did a fast turn-around, and started shooting at the turrets. It only took a few shots of the dual laser cannons to disable the turrets, giving her a clean getaway. She flew away from citadel station, preparing the hyperdrive for Nar Shaddaa.

The Stargazer swooped around behind [member="Thalira Kiing"]'s ship just before it jumped into hyperspace. He shot down the two security fighters tailing her before they could follow her into hyperspace. Behind him, another two security fighters fired at his ship's rear. Twirling through space, he managed to blindside them and take them out one after the other. The Stargazer then jumped before the next squad of fighters could catch up.
NAR SHADDAA
66319 Swooper Motel, Room 4

Myles paced back and fourth in the motel room. Every once in a while, he'd check out the window or peek through the peephole on the door. For a few minutes, he awaited Thalira's arrival. The duffel bags stashed with credits lay in the middle of the room. While not thoroughly counted, it was clearly a rather high amount. The second meeting reminisced of their first, before this job was even in motion. Finally, it seemed, they had gotten away.

After Myles jumped to hypserspace Thalira was also ready to jump. As a squad of security fighters flew closer to Thalira, she hit the button to make the jump, leaving Citadel Station and it's security in her dust. At least, metaphorically. Thalira met her eyes once again with the mesmerizing flow of hypserspace, and it was somehow calming. Thalira got comfortable in the pilot seat of her YT-2400, and she finally took off the visor she still had on. Now she would just sit back, relax, and wait to reach Nar Shaddaa.

After a while, the YT-2400 finally reached the destination of Nar Shaddaa. After jumping out of hyperspace Thalira looked at the moon. It was an amazing sight, and better yet, she wouldn't have to talk to any friendly representatives there. Thalira landed her ship after getting the required clearance, then she left her ship with the duffel bag of credits for the motel Myles was waiting in. It didn't take too long before she reached the room, and she immediately knocked on the door, waiting to be given entrance so they could fully count the stolen credits.
