Galactic Enemies: The Bank Job

Within a few minutes, the door opened up and quickly shut after @Thalira King entered the room.

"Was beginning to think you'd run off with my money or get killed... Alright, let's get counting."

There was way too many credits to count on a table, so the floor would have to do. Myles spilled each bag into a single large pile of credits on the ground. His expression turned to that of eagerness, though he tried his best to keep a straight face. Each and every credit was accurately counted by the stack. Every now and then he'd peek out the window in case anyone decided to show up. It was a little unlikely that security forces would swarm a place like Nar Shaddaa, but the place was still as dangerous as ever. You could never be too careful.

"One-hundred and sixty-five thousand credits."

Thalira's face lit up as she and her accomplice counted the credits. She didn't even know what she was going to do with her cut. Unlike Myles, Thalira didn't worry about keeping a watch outside as she had been to Nar Shaddaa before, and she knew it was one of the best places to go when you needed some privacy after doing something less than legal.
After all the money was counted, Thalira looked at it with awe. "So how we gonna split this?" Thalira asked her partner in crime. "Considering you orchestrated all of this, I would be willing to go 60/40 in your favor." She grabbed her datapad and brought up a calculator. "That would put it at 99,000 creds for you, and 66,000 for me. Although, I wouldn't be opposed to going 50/50, giving us both 82.5 grand each."

While it was true that Nar Shaddaa was infamous for being a crime haven, Myles was more or less looking out for himself regardless. He had a less than favorable standing with the Hutts on the Smuggler's Moon, much less the Hutts in general. That, and he was one of the bigger names on these streets. People were always looking to get a pretty penny off someone's head, especially Myles'.

"We'll split it fifty-fifty. It was a two-man job, after all." he said, still watching out the window.

He split his take and dumped it all into one of the duffel bags and left the rest for Thalira. He took a brief moment to make sure everything was in order- that no evidence was left behind and everything was clean. Myles took a deep breath, releasing with relief. It was yet another job well done, rather favorably to say the least. He'd gotten into tougher scraps before, so it was nice for once to finish a job smoothly with little complications.

Well, there was the fact that he got shot. Again. But that's something that you can't really avoid; but you have to just deal with it. The wound still stung at his side, but it was nothing Myles wasn't familiar with. He turned to Thalira to say his final goodbyes. Myles didn't know if they'd ever meet again. Maybe they'd run another job, or encounter by chance. Whatever was in store for the future, he didn't know.

"Well, I guess that's it. Job well done. What's next for you, T?"

Thalira was satisfied to hear Myles wanted to cut the bounty in half. She wasn't opposed to getting more credits than she initially offered. Thalira thought on the events of the heist as Myles filled one of the duffel bags with his half of the credits. It was a well thought out heist thanks to Myles. Both of them had their parts in it, and they fulfilled those parts professionally. Telos' Citadel would have no idea what happened, and would have to recover from the professional heist for quite a while. If Thalira ever ran into Myles again, she would definitely see about making some more paydays. "I think I'm gonna find a cantina somewhere. Get a few drinks, all that stuff. Maybe dye my hair again. Gotta stay hidden." She said that last part with a smirk. Truth was, Thalira did often dye her hair, so if the two ever met again, chances were that she would have a different hair color. "Maybe I'll see you around, Myles."
