When I was reading through the definition of Stratocracy, thoughts about Starship troopers instantly came to mind. I originally got into the franchise by way of the original animated series.

As for ministers' the last regime usually appointed ministers from the active Senate roster to give Senators more to do, like what is done in the States. Committee positions and committee chairs come from active Senators.

Okay, I'm back, and answering as fast as I can.

I'm not a big fan of people moving from one planet to another just to grab a senate seat. If Eshan is out, I'd rather see [member="Alexander Sannes"] work up another way to stay involved, especially if it means he & Jack can settle their mutual animosity. Just jumping from perceived traitor who left the Republic to guy in charge of a whole planet without RPing any discussion or election seems off to me. Maybe there's a new minister role we can come up with if Alex comes clean and let's Jack know exactly where he's coming from.

If you remember Jack - we had Chairs (Council/Committees) for each individual section of the Republic but apparently that is not able to be found in the Archives.

Security, Intelligence and Military Oversight (3 condensed into 1 due to the fact that there was little Senate Activity.) - Alyesa was in charge of this.

Finance - I think this one stayed empty for a bit.

Judicial Affairs - Hapes held this seat for a while.

Trade and Commerce (Might have been Trade but you were head of that)

Unsure what else there could have been.

You can easily spin them off to be Ministers.

Minister of Security, Minister of Intelligence, Minister of Defense (Military Oversight), etc.
