DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
- Microrepulsors: The repulsors carry the swoop above ground making it hover. It also gives the swoop the ability to 'hop' (As seen in Kotor swoop racing) and escape obstacles. Nothing more than that, though.
- Aerodynamic Shape: Although not as much as a feature but it is good to be noted that the 'geometry' of its design is not random but fully focused on giving this swoop an edge in racing.
- Forcefield generators: One on each side, they carry a significant weight but are capable of producing a two meter long and two meter high force field from each side to prevent a competitor of overtaking. The integrity of the force field diminishes with each passing second while having a limited time of being produced no longer than 20 seconds at the cost of draining significant power from the shields
- Ray and Particle Shield: Self Explanatory
- Inertial Dampeners: So one does not die of excessive g-force.
- Ion Mines: Carries a load of ten ion mines that can be dropped at any time. They explode in fiery explosion of ions capable of disabling another swoop.
Strengths:
- Strong support: Utilizing a Force Field generators to prevent other swoop bikes from overtaking is a great advantage on specific, tight quarter trackers and absolutely useless on wide open ones. It is definitely a good and helpful feature but one that is very situation as well
- Ion Mines Load: The mines are small while powerful, this makes them less visible to the naked eye and especially to those that find it hard to discern detail in the substantial speeds the swoop bikes are capable of. Nonetheless, they also need to be positioned on locations where the swoops would be slowing down as a swoop bike hitting top speed or close to speed may simply pass over them and leave the explosion behind them undamaged at all
DESCRIPTION
The Galderra Support-class swoop has been made with the sole purpose of assisting the Galderra team's ace pilot - Eddak Manod. Similar to a dignitary's escort, the Support-class is there to fend Eddak's back but while also retaining a certain competitive edge in racing against the other racers. Unfortunately, that competitive edge is very situation and the Support-class is set to be a 'specialist' and master of some tracks but severely under performing in other tracks.
Being loaded with more weight than the standard Galderra-class, the Support-class can certainly find problems in terms of acceleration. The Force Fields, on the other hand, will significantly increase the drag of the swoop and thus decrease its top speed. A fairly balanced swoop that possesses strengths that come hand in hand with weaknesses.
