GENERAL XOR

BACKGROUND

Kalee.

A planet filled with a great warrior species. A planet that has seen more war over the centuries than many others. If it wasn't clans clashing against one another with its feudal system, it was factions from outside causing strife.

Xor San Raem had grown up like any other Kaleesh - fighting since before he could hold a weapon. Raised from toddler during the Sith-Imperial rule of the planet, Xor had grown to a youngling warrior, able to land hits even before he could even properly swing a weapon. During this upbringing, however, there was resentment within his village. Some, including Xor's own clan, didn't see the Sith as strong enough as others. Silent divides started to form between normally allied clans, small skirmishes taking place between them. It was during this time that Xor had felled his first sentient.

And then the Sith-Empire was toppled by a New Order.

Along with it, came Kalee's civil war. Warlords clashed heavily. Xor, one of the teenaged warriors most ruthless inducted into the group, fought with the Swords of Kalee against the Sith Loyalists. Due to their own motivations, the New Imperials backed the Swords during the war, showcasing to the young warrior that iron ran much stronger than words.

COMPNOR didn't even have to try to recruit Xor. He joined the Empire of his own accord and fought amongst them for the rest of the Kyber Dark campaign and even beyond. During this time, he was turned into an even more formidable warrior and strategist, working his way into the 501st Special Forces, training with Imperial Knights every free moment he had, increasing his weapon proficiency by learning how to really wield a lightsaber.

Then came the attack that claimed Tavlar.

The war that ensued after that attack changed Xor's life forever - for better or worse. The Brotherhood of the Maw cut swathes through the Galaxy and the Empire, now led by Rurik Fel, vehemently opposed them. One bloody battle after another saw Xor reach legendary warrior status and a new name - The Butcher - or Jazaar in his native tongue. Many Mawites and even Sith fell to his blades. He was even a contender in the skies. When he wasn't commanding a fleet, he was boarding an enemy ship.

Until the great sonic explosion on Nirauan decimated his original body and left him inches from death.

In the aftermath, he was found and had been given an entirely new body of meta, reminiscent of his species' traditions. He also was gifted with a cybernetic implant in the brain that would theoretically enable him to quickly learn his opponents' actions. The moment when he was strong enough to fight again, he unleashed his newfound martial prowess on the Galaxy.

By this time, the Empire was not only at war with the Maw, but with the Alliance as well. Xor, being a hardy warrior that cared nothing for the Force, embraced the new directive as vehemently as the old. Not only did the Kaleesh now hunt Sith, but Jedi as well.

But the warrior did begin to wonder if there shouldn't be more to fighting than just the fight. He will always see glory in battle, yet it started to feel as if the Empire, like the Sith they once toppled, were losing sight of their ultimate goal. Yet, he fought with the Empire until its ultimate implosion.

For a warrior like Xor, the loss of at least some purpose left him wandering the Galaxy, not at all helping his mood. His travels finally found him in Wild Space. Whispers of a stalwart government on Hefi reached him. This small piece of might left over in the wake of the vacuum left by the Mandalorians drew him in - giving the warrior purpose once more.

Since then, he followed the man responsible for it all - Vemric Keldra.

When the Sephi established a new Confederacy in the southern systems, Xor was right next to him. While Jas Katis was given supreme command of the Armed Forces, Xor was the Confederacy's towering hammer.

His strategies and prowess would be rivaled by few to none as his daunting metal frame now leads the combined military might alongside the Pureblood.

The Butcher, with decades of martial experience, rides again...

PERSONALITY

Xor is a great warrior with a shrewd and tactical mind. He takes battle very seriously and doesn't mess around. There was a time that he could banter with fellow warriors, but that time has long since passed. Inherent to his species, he is a proud yet merciless man.

He has quite the sarcastic streak, however. Where the Head of State could deliver a sarcastic jab with such grace that you didn't realise you've been slighted, Xor delivered it like a warhammer. He also has quite the temper and it's usually the droids in his vicinity that have to pay the price.

There are times, few as they were, where he could be more at ease, however. Never exuberant and joyful, but he could have some slight banter with a fellow hardy warrior on shore leave. With the right approach and persistence, he might even be befriended.

STRENGTHS
+Warrior- As a Kaleesh, Xor was raised with martial skill, which was further honed in the New Imperial Order into a weapon so lethal, many would cower before him. Xor is capable to hold his own in any fight.
+Cyborg- With the loss of the majority of his body in battle, Xor is mostly machine now, rendering him far less vulnerable than those with organic bodies and stronger than the majority sentient species. It also allows him to fight far longer where an organic would grow tired far quicker and allows him to fight with the vigour of a man half his age. He also has an implant enabling him to learn and adopt his opponents' strategies and actions in order to best them.
+Precision- As a soldier of the Empire that had worked himself into the elite Special Forces and even beyond, Xor is very capable in handling a gun. He could easily take out the flea on a Vornskr whisker if he wanted to.
+Battlemaster- Aside from wielding his native weapons exceptionally, Xor can also wield a lightsaber - or four, having trained with the Imperial Knights for his entire tenure within the Empire and hunting actual Force Users and besting them in battle. Even though he doesn't command the Force himself, he can go toe to toe with the best duelists in the Galaxy.
+General- Xor has a commanding presence and knows how to take control of an entire army and lead them to battle. His tactical mind can easily adapt to a situation and he can find a new way to lead his forces to victory.
+Unarmed Combat- Xor is not only exceptionally proficient with a weapon, but unarmed as well. Even if he was disarmed, he could still deal significant damage, especially now as a cyborg, with merely his hands and feet.
+Mental Bulwark- As an exceptionally shrewd and tactical individual, Xor's mind can't really be manipulated. It would take combined effort of numerous Force Users to break through his mental walls.

WEAKNESSES
-Cyborg- Though it has its perks, it can also be a drawback in certain situations, such as targeted EMP attacks and large magnets.
-Non-Force User - For all his martial prowess, Xor still can't wield the Force, which can put him at a disadvantage somewhere and he can't counter it with Force either. He'd have to resort to military means and that won't always be possible in the moment.
-Holds a grudge - Xor's not really the forgiving sort. He'll carry a grudge until he can do something about it. This can be used against either him or the Confederacy if played smartly.
-Merciless - Typical to his species, Xor has no mercy when it comes to battle. This can especially be a problem within the Confederacy and the alliance that is currently part of - all of whom value life and mercy.
-Needs a purpose - Xor isn't a mindless warrior - he needs a cause to fight for. Remove him from the cause - or remove the cause itself - and he gets broken.
-Prideful - If pride flies to high, it will come crashing down hard. Xor's pride might be his undoing as he would be incapable of backing off for he wouldn't want to be seen as a coward.
