Mandalore
Keldabe

The small clinic she had set up on Mandalore had seen much activity. The people were hesitant at first looking at her seeing her Jedi robes, she had made the decision not to wear them to only wear a doctors scrubs. That however had made them relax off of one set of distrust only to develop the ones about doctors.

It was a long journey but slowly they came, first they brought their elderly. She wondered was it because they were elderly but when a woman showed with her daughter, Rianna smiled and did what she always did, help. Today there had been a body dump at the clinic and Rianna had been called in to find a young man, unknown if he was mandalorian he bore no clan marks.

He looked ashy white, had eaten very little he seemed so thin the eyes hollow. What was wrong with him, she drew what she could the results bothered her greatly. The use of drugs was not unknown in any part of the galaxy, but the need to stop it that varied from individual to individual. Rianna put out a call for her Riduur, she would seek his advice, and hopefully his help.

Ordo walked quicly along the street toward the clinic his wife had opened for the vode and other travelers that came to Keldabe. She had sounded worried when she called and he was in a hurry to see what was the matter.

He pulled off his helmet as he went through the front door and headed to his wife. He saw her looking at a file and came close enough to speak in quiet tones.

"What's wrong dear?" He said, "what can I do?"

Rianna stood with her arms crossed as she thought about what this meant, what it entailed. She turned toward Ord'ika as he came through the doors, "Ord'ika this young man was dumped, left on the clinic steps." Rianna went on to explain how he did not have any clan markings not any id.

"But, his blood work shows high levels of drugs, recreational drugs. You've lived here on Mandalore, is there a known supplier cause this mixture there seem to be trace amounts of other drugs I"d like to get a sample for testing, and I'd like to shut them down" Rianna's dark eyes went to the young man again, "he looks so young Ord'ika surely we can find this before more show up"

Rianna wanted to be proactive, nip it, and quick.

Ordo looked at the young man and took his wife's hand to give it a small squeeze. He didn't know the boy but if he was getting drugs on Mandalore someone at the Oyu'baat would have heard a rumor.

"I don't know who he is" Ordo said, "but I know where to start looking for information."

Ordo looked over as Stardust came up.

"Hey kiddo." Ordo said kindly to the young Twi'lek woman then he spoke to both, "I'm going to ask around at the Oyu'baat. If it happens in Keldabe someone there will know about it."

Rianna nodded to Ord'ika, "I will go with you, and listen." What she meant by listen was to use her senses to sense a lie, a deception. They needed to know where this drug was coming in, what they were mixing it with, how much more was on Mandalore and yes where was it coming from. If there was a place on Mandalore making it they needed to shut it down.

Rianna smiled at Stardust seemed she kept running into the young woman. "Hello, how can I help you?" If she was in need Rianna needed to help her.

Ordo reached for his wifes hand and turned to Stardust.

"If you want to tag along you can but be careful, we could find trouble." He began walking with his riduur to the main entrance. The smell of cleaning agents was strong and the rhythmic thudding of his feet on the floor reminded him of the sound of deck plates on the Dancing Thranta.

He exited and turned down the street to the left and headed for the closest place to a news room that you could find on Mandalore, the Oyu'baat.

The building was centuries old and was the one place no one seemed to ever want to change. It had been remodled and rebuilt in places over time, but over all the place was what it had always been.

"Here we go Cyar'ika." He said, "I'll ask around and you see what you 'hear'."

Ordo went inside and made his way to the Bar. He nodded at the barkeep and leaned forward.

"Whats the news?" He said to the Man behind the counter. "Anything I should know?"

Rianna didn't have to time really react as Ordo took her hand and led her toward the place that would hold answers, she looked back at Stardust and motioned for her to follow, if she wanted to help, she should.

As they neared the building Rianna focussed herself to the thoughts, actions of those around them. She smiled when he said 'hear' it was something that many Jedi did listen. She stood silently just within the doorway, calming herself so many things going on in one place. She watched the bartender who seemed to know Ordo, and would know that when he asked a question he expected an answer.

She caught his eyes as they looked at her, the tilt of his head made Rianna looked towards the back she heard the word newcomers. Newcomers were not uncommon so what was it about this little group that made the bartender remember them.

Just then she saw him slide something to Ord'ika across the bar. She looked back again to the newcomers, who had suddenly disappeared. Rianna put her head down and moved, if they went out the back, she'd find them. She looked over to Ordo for a moment, letting him know she was moving.

Ordo nodded to the barkeep and accepted the data chip. He plugged it in to the data reader in his helmet. The data was a location a few kilometers into the veshok tree forest and information on suspected activities. Smuggling, piracy, and drug trafficking were at the top of the list.

Ordo lay down a credit chip and moved to follow Rianna toward the back door. He didn't say anything he didn't need to he just let the feeling of success radiate and trusted her keen senses to pick it up.

He walked along with his hand on his rippers pistol grip and looked for the newcomers who were causing the trouble.

Rianna looked at Stardust, "looking for drug dealers" she kept moving her steps were cautious as she approached she knew Ord'ika was behind, and if they did not think twice about her they would surely think twice about him.

Rianna reached the table, "Greeting, I am Rianna" her voice was soft, to not draw attention, "I was wondering if we could talk to you......" the long pause as she looked at their faces, "outside" She smiled then, and that's when all dar'yaim broke out.

A table flipped, and chairs were throw, Rianna raised her hand and kept the chairs from coming in but it was enough that they were out the back. "negotiations" she whispered, and then took off after them.

Rianna's voice was soft as she spoke to the people who had been indicated by the barkeep. They looked out of place but they were obviously trying not to. They were tense, maybe even a little jumpy, Ordo's gut said that they were either the people responsible or they knew who was. Rianna had barely said the word "Outside" before the table flipped and they began to bolt. Ordo's hand went for his ripper as Rianna gave chase. Ordo was on her heals as they tore out of the back of the ancient tapcaf. Like smart criminals they split up and headed in different directions. Ordo took aim at one and fired several shots, one of which found its mark and tore a path through the fleeing man's left thigh. Ordo began running at the man as he hit the ground clutching his leg.

"I think the nice lady said we needed to talk to you." Ordo said as he levelled the ripper at the fallen man.

They split up, Rianna had turned and ran one way, Ord'ika the other. She reached out with the force grabbing the fleeing runner to lift him from the ground and hold him till he could calm down. The words that dripped from his lips were very much like what she expected of criminals, all fuss plunder and threat. Truth was she could feel fear on him, it made the air around them vibrate as she slowly lowered him back, down. Just as his feet touched Rianna heard the shots from the other end of the alley. That, was not good.

Rianna using her power of persuasion, "I just want to talk" The man finally stopped struggling, "come with me" slowly they walked till they reached Ord'ika placing her hand on his shoulder, "Oh you got him, running is dangerous you should have just answered my questions" Rianna turned to the one with her, "sit down" Rianna kneeled, the injury was not life threatening, she sat about looking him over.

"I can help with this, but you need to tell me if you know anything about drug distribution here." Rianna smiled as she began to take her small med pouch from her pockets, a few bacta pads, and alcohol pads.

"HE SHOT AT ME!!!" Rianna looked up, "Yes he did" she said calmly, "You ran" Rianna looked up, "He's a very good shot" She smiled and winked as she turned back, "Now, please, I would like my information"

The one sitting who had come back with Rianna, "We just sell it, we pick it up at the spaceport, and distribute. Once we sell what we have we go back and get more." Rianna nodded, thinking, "Do you know names?"

He shook his head, "No"

Rianna nodded, "How about what they look like?"

"Protol Droid drops it off" Rianna finished, "YOu both belong in jail for what you've done, these drugs are killing people that makes you murderers, and subject to Mandalorian Justice. So. It is up to Ord'ika what happens to you" Rianna got up, turning to look to her husband. "They are yours"

Ordo looked to see Rianna come over with her catch of the day. His eyes jumped from her catch to his and the realization that her way was a lot cleaner hit him like a brick. He could lift arm wrestle a bull rancor with the help of the force but lift people with his mind was not a skill he possesed.

He listened closely, his ripper still in hand as they spoke. He could not help but turn red behind his visor as Rianna calmly handled the situation. He probably would have hit one of them before to long. It was a good th8ng she was in control.

He waited until his riduur had finished and turned them over to him.

<I need a cell for two.> Ordo said in Mando'a over his comlink, <and a prisoner pick up.>

Ordo waited until a pair of legion troops came to load the two dealers into a speeder and took them away.

"Next step find the droid and the manufacturer I guess." He said looking to his wife for her thoughts.

Rianna returned the look, "Knowing one droid from another, I'm not sure of I never learned that skill" She looked over at Stardust and then back to Ordo, "Do you know how we can track a single droid" Better question how do you make one tell you what you want to know, turning it off only silences it, destroying it well there was an obvious affect for that.

There were something that she could not do, even with reason and logic she needed assistance, and that was another thing Ordo completed those skills, the things she lacked her had. She smiled as she thought of it. "What do you think riduur?" There were sounds around them, the shuffle of feet, low murmuring voices that if they knew anything would soon be far away. Rianna walked to the end of the alley, keeping Ordo and Stardust with her. How many people know what had been happening. Why had they not said anything. It was troubling. How many other words were suffering this same thing, there had to be a way to stop the drug runners. Even if they had to do it one at a time.

Ordo nodded and thought for a moment.

"We may have to have our boy's set up a drop." He said, "if we can shut it down I have an astromech that can download the data from it's processor then it's just a matter of digging through the data."

Ordo pulled out his datapad. It took only seconds to confirm with the MandalTech office in Keldabe that the M1-series astromech was available should they need it. He pulled off his helmet and rubbed his short brown hair as he thought about how bad this situation was, or could be. He rarely got overly worried but today he was concerned for the Security of Mandalorian space if something like this could creep up with out anyone saying a word.

"Let's set up our sting then try and catch a droid, love." he said with a smile.

"Yes let's do that cyar'ika." She could feel his concern it was true if drug dealers could get on Mandalore and no one say anything about it, then who else, and what else could make it down here.

Could.. she didn't think it outloud, but she remembered the stories of them Death Watch...would they, could they begin a movement here too, perhaps they were already here and no one was saying anything.

They walked towards the spaceport, their little sting being organized as they moved. How long would they have to wait. Would they be caught. Or would it be another chase. For some reason she laughed, this was like the old days of catching slavers, and drug runners. Protecting the people. She kind of liked this.

She looked again at her riduur, he seemed deep in thought.
