I have a character who set up a faction, but I'm not sure what to do to develop it, am I able to do threads to expand its influence, like military campaigns, what do you suggest On how to dev lop a faction.

Best way is collaborate with other writers to do a story that would get them and others interested in. You can do it as a fraction or public to draw in others. Also if you have dedicated writers then yes ask another fraction that's the opposite and go against them in a drama free battle.
